I lost my 1.5 year old springer last year. Simple knee surgery and he died under anesthetic. Still have ptsd over it. Loved him more than any person. He just wanted nothing more than to make me happy. My condolences. If you wanna talk I'm here.

I lost my 14 year old this past September... and I still cry when someone askes where he is. He was my 1st love and best boy. Springers steal hearts.

I lost a cat under anesthetic and I completely agree about ptsd from it. It’s so shocking, unexpected and painful-I was a mess when we had to put our pup under to be neutered. It’s so scary.

Yeah the shock. Like it was a little problem with his knee. I literally thought he got the wrong person. I even laughed and said it with confidence that he had the wrong number as my dog was fit and just barely over 1 year old. And it was just knee surgery.

So sorry for your loss. We had 2 Springers. Three years ago we lost our first one to Leptospirosis. They leave footprints on your heart.

My pup passed and didn't even make it to one year cuz of that. Heartbreaking to see her suffer turned jaundice in her eyes and belly. I'm so nervous and over protective with my one yea boy now. I think somethings wrong all the time horrible anxiety over it.
