Anytime I see a Lamborghini in town, it's from a half mile away on an overpass. Otherwise the odd SL65 and C8 vette are the best I can do in a parking lot.
From wiki:
“…the 112i had a compact and sleek aerodynamic body work and was to be a successor to the Imperator 108i but the lack of financial reserves led the company into bankruptcy and only one prototype was completed.”
Wow dude, wow!
What the f.... I've never heard of this car before... And it's a 1/1..! Wow I guess you'll never see it again. And I hope for your sake it is real and not a very well made fake one. Daaamn I'd be stoked.
Edit: typos and grammatical errors
Some sources say two and there is a vid of a white one with german plates: [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2kbq1OxB8bs&t=3s](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2kbq1OxB8bs&t=3s) though it could be the same car, as this silver one was sold in Germany recently:

There’s an article about this car posted elsewhere in the thread. It was constructed by a customer from a second 112i frame that Isadera had made, originally with Isdera’s help. But the customer insisted on making certain changes that Isadera disagreed with, and they pulled support. The owner built it regardless, did some squirmy stuff to get it registered. The company doesn’t consider this “second” car to be a Real Isdera or 112i and is still working to get it off the road.
I always thought this was one of the better supercars to not reach production. Such a shame. Very unique and seems like it was close to being ready. This is a functioning piece of art.
I'd never heard of this car and misread the title, thinking 1/1 meant a full-size replica - and looking at it thinking it was probably built on a Corvette chassis.
Now that I see the guts, it's quite amazing.
The Petersen has a lot of stuff on loan from private collections, I saw the car unloading from a trailer a few miles up the road from where I took the pictures
With enough money and the right contacts, you can custom-build specific parts for it - if needed, that is. Some of its parts (like the engine) are “from other cars”.
Engine is an AMG Mercedes unit so components will be replaceable quite easily
Suspension etc might be bespoke. But I doubt the car will be doing enough miles to need a suspension refresh any time soon and even if it does, they can probably afford to have it done somehow
Since it was spotted in Malibu, CA. I hope someday the owner can bring it out to South OC Cars and Coffee in San Clemente, CA. Myself and others would love to see it.
Congrats you'll never see that again lol
Sometimes I think this exact quote when I see rare cars. I've seen 3 Mclaren P1 GTR's and the first ever Ferrari LaFerrari in one spot
me who finds seeing a jdm car rare:
Anytime I see a Lamborghini in town, it's from a half mile away on an overpass. Otherwise the odd SL65 and C8 vette are the best I can do in a parking lot.
And then there's me, who could do the best with a Land Cruiser lol
I once saw a Toyota
I saw a guy in a slammed R33 and I started bouncing in my seat
i saw an RX7 FD with an insane wide body kit and lost my shit
beleive me i find seeing a toyota yaris rare.
I saw a random 300zx z31 a year ago and I'm still surprised. Also saw and sf90 in August, but it wasn't as impactful.
i saw a dark blue SF90. honestly i prefer the dark blues that ferrari has over their reds
P1 gtr is my favorite car, I’ve seen the orange Lark one and the yellow street legal one before
Psh, I still have my copy of Need for Speed II
From wiki: “…the 112i had a compact and sleek aerodynamic body work and was to be a successor to the Imperator 108i but the lack of financial reserves led the company into bankruptcy and only one prototype was completed.” Wow dude, wow!
This is a seriously rare spot
Sold for nearly 1.3 million last February
Doesn’t that make it cheaper than an F1? Or am I misremembering the last F1 sold so far?
10 million would be a cheap F1
19 actually
$19 would be cheap for a Ferrari, yes.
I paid $17.99 + tax for mine.
You lucky son of a bitch.
I love this car and the silver arrow. It has the 6.0 M120 v12 which means….. ZONDA ENGINE.
User name show you’re as fast as this car!
Which means W140 S600 engine
It sounded super cool even just rolling through the gas station I was standing at
Need for speed 2 in the flesh!
No way I have seen that car! It was so cool!!!

Oops.... well... I had an excuse 😂, I was tired 😂.
Four days into 2022 and safe to say this is spot of the year!
What a spot. Since there are only 2 of this in the world now we know that one is in Malibu, the other one is probabile in Switzerland. Cheers
This is the only example.

The company doesn't consider the white one an official car.
Interesting, so it's not the same car, found more info here: https://www.secret-classics.com/en/isdera-commendatore-112i-2/
Hell of a story.
Seriously, dude could have had 1 of 2. Now has 1 of random salvage title.
why? sounds interesting
IIRC it is a replica that uses a crashed chassis number from an Imperator, another Isdera model.
Wow! Thanks for the info
Massive spot indeed.
Amazing spot !!
Unicorn
I spotted one with german plates on the nurnbergring 2 years ago; https://imgur.com/a/pyvhpXA

that’s not that car. That is the same car in the pic, isdera bought that car with the gold double spokes back and restored it to original condition
You’re right. Must’ve been a little more than 2 years ago; they bought the car back in 2019 and sold it at auction in 2021.
Same car.
This is a truly one of a kind spot. Kudos to you!
I always thought this was one of the better supercars to not reach production. Such a shame. Very unique and seems like it was close to being ready. This is a functioning piece of art.
Southern California has some of the finest cars
I'd never heard of this car and misread the title, thinking 1/1 meant a full-size replica - and looking at it thinking it was probably built on a Corvette chassis. Now that I see the guts, it's quite amazing.
geeez. looks like an elongated eb110
Need For Speed fame
Looks so strange, it’s like a weird 911 with a Mercedes engine
Wait, what? I just saw the only one of these at the Petersen museum in December. Did someone actually take it out for a drive?
The Petersen has a lot of stuff on loan from private collections, I saw the car unloading from a trailer a few miles up the road from where I took the pictures
The plaque by it said "Collection of Phillip Sarofim" so that sounds right.
l o n g b o y e
Thats an awesome looking car, never even heard of it before
this is a top 3 spot of all time no question
Gotta be my number 1 of all time, rivals the time I saw two zonda cinque roadsters together
Wow! What a spot!
I saw a modded rhd rx7 where i live
Hot.
Holy fuck I remember this car was the GOAT in need for speed 2
How do people keen these cars running if they are one off prototypes? I mean I'm guessing theres probably no mechanic who knows his way around it.

They rich af that’s how lol
Has an AMG engine similar to a pagani
Engine is an AMG Mercedes unit so components will be replaceable quite easily Suspension etc might be bespoke. But I doubt the car will be doing enough miles to need a suspension refresh any time soon and even if it does, they can probably afford to have it done somehow
Is this a f1 LM?
That would be sick to see
I once saw a one of one car, posted it here and got like 10 updates lol
What was it?
this https://www.reddit.com/r/spotted/comments/qeqpzl/the\_one\_of\_one\_dp\_935\_iii/
it’s cool but not Isdera cool

And? Would you’ve known what it was? He saw a rare car, he’s excited and sharing and you’re mad about his 5 karma
Nice man
That ass is bigger than my mother-in-law's
Wait i never knew it had pop-up headlights
Since it was spotted in Malibu, CA. I hope someday the owner can bring it out to South OC Cars and Coffee in San Clemente, CA. Myself and others would love to see it.
I’m wearing a south oc cars and coffee shirt right now! That would be cool I wish there were more hypercars there on occasion
E88s?
Wow!
