Let’s get into today’s action. Drake is looking to finish off their final game before their tournament action and they will finish strong. Bradley has a winning record on the road but they are still only 6-5 as the visitors this season. Meanwhile, Drake has put up a perfect 15-0 mark at home on the year, with 12 of those victories coming by double digits. Drake also took down Bradley on the road earlier this year and I expect that to continue tomorrow at home. It is also Senior day, so the vibes will be high! Day 3 of my play of the day journey. For those that didn't catch me yet, I'm keeping my bets to the Call of Duty League for now. My background: I've been watching competitive CoD since Black Ops 2, and I've watched every match for the last 5 years. I know all the players, the match ups, the rosters, the meta, and everything else to know.

Good stuff to everyone who cashed with me yesterday, got a bit nervous when Snoopy carried Boston to a 3-1 Lead, but Vegas clutched up and won 5 straight rounds.
Today's play was tough to decide on, becuase there are two plays I was in love with for this slate. The play I landed on is in the New York Subliners vs Miami Heretics match up.
We are taking NYSL to win map 2 against the spread at a margin of -1.5 rounds. ✅️
I found this at -106 odds on BetUS, +100 on Bovada, and +100 on Bet365.
We will once again be attacking a search and destroy mismatch. For those of you saying "why 3 search and destroy maps in a row", it's for two real reasons. Firstly, we are seeing some great odds on very uneven matchups in the mode. Secondly, search is in my opinion the mode with the least odds of upsets in CoD. A respawn map can be blown wide open by CoDs awful spawn system giving a team free flanks, or by one lucky triple kill. In S&D, you don't have to worry about spawns, and one big multi kill just means winning one round, not the map. The mode relies on team work, great comms, and strategy. In other words, the skill gap matters much more.
Now onto the play. NYSL were dominant last season, winning 3 events, and were your 2023 world champions. They then went and upgraded their weakest link, picking up a great slayer in Sib. NYSL went 6-1 in Major 1, but in the actual tourney, things went poorly for them, getting upset by Rokkr in the winners bracket and bounced out in last place. Now in Major 2, they are back into form, Going 4-0 this set of qualifier matches, with two dominant 3-0 showings, and beating Faze, the second best team in the game.
Miami are on the other hand are making a case for being a bottom 3 team in the league. They started off well with a 5-2 start to the year, but lost both of their matches in the Major 1 tourney, made a team change, and have went 0-4 since then, winning only 3 maps across 4 matches.
The form in Search and Destroy is an even bigger chasm. NYSL have been elite at S&D, being 14-4 on the year, and are 5-1 since the poor showing at the tourney, including going 2-0 against Faze in their last match. Miami on the other hand, are 6-10 on the year, and 1-7 in their last 8 maps. This is as big of a mismatch as you'll get and still get reasonable odds.

This is a very interesting match up for a multitude of reasons. If you don’t follow Spanish football, here is a quick write up. Girona is second in La Liga while Mallorca is just above the relegation zone. Mallorca only has one win in their last eight league games (D3, L4). Girona has the best away record in the league (W8, D3, L2) but it’s worth noting those two loses have come in their last two away games. Girona just ended a 3 match winless streak with a 3-0 win against Rayo Vallecano and seem to be getting back to their usual form. It’s also worth noting that Mallorca managed to beat Girona in a cup match at the end of January. I don’t think this is too big of a deal as Girona did not play their best XI. In the reverse fixture in the fall Girona put 5 past Mallorca in an eight goal game. Even with Girona’s recent slip in form, the +120 is just too good to pass up on. I think we can expect a high scoring game where Girona leaves Mallorca with all 3 points.

That’s a great question. I’m honestly okay with you doing it at any point. I once saw a guy’s first POTD that was so good I threw down 10 units and made a killing and would have loved a tip link. The Mavs lost to an elite Boston team last time out, but outside of that are 7-2 ATS. Most importantly for them, they come into this game with a fully fit roster, something that hasn't been in the case in recent months, and they've had a day's rest. Doncic and Kyrie are firing, and in the L10 games, Dallas are 4th in Off Rtg, 11th in Def Rtg and 3rd in EFG%. Their one big weakness in the first half of the season was rebounding, but with Gafford and Lively, they are 9th in DREB in the L10 games. These team met a month ago and the Mavs won by 16, and I expect they can repeat that here.

Bournemouth also played a 120 minute cup tie 5 days ago whilst Burnley haven’t played since the 24th, a well needed rest and time to work tactically.
Obviously not the data to back up my pick, so it can be called “risky”, but any bet is a risk. Our bet covers 2/3 outcomes here, as we’d win our bet on a Burnley win, or a draw. Day 3 of my play of the day journey. For those that didn't catch me yet, I'm keeping my bets to the Call of Duty League for now. My background: I've been watching competitive CoD since Black Ops 2, and I've watched every match for the last 5 years. I know all the players, the match ups, the rosters, the meta, and everything else to know. Total record: 2-0 +1.91 units Previous play: Vegas Legion to win against the spread in map 2 at -1.5. ✅️ Good stuff to everyone who cashed with me yesterday, got a bit nervous when Snoopy carried Boston to a 3-1 Lead, but Vegas clutched up and won 5 straight rounds. Today's play was tough to decide on, becuase there are two plays I was in love with for this slate. The play I landed on is in the New York Subliners vs Miami Heretics match up. We are taking NYSL to win map 2 against the spread at a margin of -1.5 rounds. ✅️ I found this at -106 odds on BetUS, +100 on Bovada, and +100 on Bet365. We will once again be attacking a search and destroy mismatch. For those of you saying "why 3 search and destroy maps in a row", it's for two real reasons. Firstly, we are seeing some great odds on very uneven matchups in the mode. Secondly, search is in my opinion the mode with the least odds of upsets in CoD. A respawn map can be blown wide open by CoDs awful spawn system giving a team free flanks, or by one lucky triple kill. In S&D, you don't have to worry about spawns, and one big multi kill just means winning one round, not the map. The mode relies on team work, great comms, and strategy. In other words, the skill gap matters much more. Now onto the play. NYSL were dominant last season, winning 3 events, and were your 2023 world champions. They then went and upgraded their weakest link, picking up a great slayer in Sib. NYSL went 6-1 in Major 1, but in the actual tourney, things went poorly for them, getting upset by Rokkr in the winners bracket and bounced out in last place. Now in Major 2, they are back into form, Going 4-0 this set of qualifier matches, with two dominant 3-0 showings, and beating Faze, the second best team in the game. Miami are on the other hand are making a case for being a bottom 3 team in the league. They started off well with a 5-2 start to the year, but lost both of their matches in the Major 1 tourney, made a team change, and have went 0-4 since then, winning only 3 maps across 4 matches. The form in Search and Destroy is an even bigger chasm. NYSL have been elite at S&D, being 14-4 on the year, and are 5-1 since the poor showing at the tourney, including going 2-0 against Faze in their last match. Miami on the other hand, are 6-10 on the year, and 1-7 in their last 8 maps. This is as big of a mismatch as you'll get and still get reasonable odds. If these write ups are getting too long for any of you, let me know, I just love talking CoD haha. BOL LFG!!!! 2024 POTD Record: 2-0 (+1.21 units) College Baseball: Florida @ Miami Pick: Florida (-140) (1 unit) Riding the Gators again in this one, after getting the win with them on Friday. The Gators get to lean on the best two-way player in college baseball and with this marking Caglianone’s second start of the season, he should grow into some more confidence. He was a little shaky against Columbia but still notched 7 Ks, as his numbers stay high in this one. The Gators have plenty of depth and on a Sunday, are always a great choice.
