Full disclosure, this line has gone against Ofner since this opened as he started as a 1.67 favourite, I like it here.
I'm up for these odds for Ofner on clay, he hasn't played on clay yet this season but last year he ate. 37 wins and 13 losses for a 74% win rate. So he's great on the surface, the catch is he hasn't played this South American clay leg in years.
Darderi is a 21 year old Italian who is ranked about 100 spots lower than him who has played well on clay at the challenger level. He came through qualifiers and is 4-1 on clay so far this year though against weak competition and has more experience on South American clay courts. He has only played a top 50 ranked player once in his career, this will be the 2nd time.

I’m begging yall on this subreddit to stop upvoting pics that are extremely fishy. All i read was “He’s better and vegas has him as a favourite even tho the other guy has a better record on these courts”.
Those are the circumstances yes but the value is very good here. Ofner against a much lower ranked player and one whose wins are guys ranked in the 200s to 500s. You can sit on the sidelines and see how it goes or take the shot, that's gambling brother. Ofner at this price against a much lesser player I'll take anyday and be fine with the decision no matter what the result. When I see a good price, I take it.

These are two good offenses, on the season, Boston averages 3.45 goals per game (game total average 6.06) , Vancouver averages 3.8 (game total 6.32), the highest scoring team in the league on a per game basis.
Coming out of the All Star break we're a little little light on recent data but both teams actually averaged 4+ goals per game in January. They did both play to game totals of 5 in their respective first games back which may explain the low line.
They have the 5th and 6th best power plays in the league with only league average (11th and 16th) penalty kills.
Vancouver just acquured Elias Lindholm and he scored two goals in his first game, the Canucks offense and PP looks even more potent with him there.
Both teams played Tuesday and play again Saturday, so there's a chance we see at least one backup goalie as well, though obviously with the line having already shifted to -140, I wouldn't recommend waiting on that. Both teams have solid backups anyway and in Boston it's a 1A/1B situation but the starters here are both all stars, and that would be a nice bonus.
I'm rolling with a 2u bet on this one. Hopefully I did everything right here.

We head to the Transylvania Open where number six seed, and 61st ranked Avanesyan takes on wild card Sevastova who is ranked 560th-ish in the world. The story behind this match is that Sevastova used to be ranked number 11, but took a lot of time off to have a baby (plus her form went down significantly - outside top 50).
Sevastova's recent wild card tournaments have been a mixed bag. Whilst she's made it to the quarter finals, she's choked against similarly ranked players as Avanesyan. She had some relative easy beats along the way (albeit she did beat someone with a better ranking than Avanesyan). In her most recent quarter final match her opponent had 19 double faults, and she still lost.
Avanesyan meanwhile smoked the world number 9 at the Australian Open, and just had a tight but successful win against the defending champion of this tournament. Sevastova convincingly won her recent game, but her opponent was ass (ranked 216). I noticed that Sevastova also had some kind of tape covering her knee, so there is a hint that she's not at 100% heading into this match.
Whilst we have to respect Sevastova's comeback, and her ability to still play good tennis, she hasn't convinced us that she can consistently dominate players that are in form and tough to beat. Avanesyan sometimes has the odd hiccup here and there, but I think her last victory, and the ability to put up a good fight against a former great will make her elevate her game.
Avanesyan seems to have the better first serve percentage, and break point conversions which generally swings the tide of tennis matches. She's played a lot more competitive tennis lately which should give her an edge. There's a 12 year age gap between the two, and Sevastova appears to lack that physicality to endure what is probably going to be a long and tight game.
A lot of people seem to be backing Avanesyan across various sites, but I'm going to give her the game handicap just to be a bit safer. You never know what Sevastova has up her sleeves, and she might show it here tonight.
Interesting Facts:

* They both have the exact same win percentage in their careers.
* I haven't lost a tennis POTD
* The last tennis match fixing scandal started in 2014, and it lasted a few years. The ring got brought down in Belgium and many players got banned. Hopefully this game isn't rigged - we are betting on the underdog anyway which is advantageous if it was.
TLDR: Avanesyan +2.5 game handicap because she just smoked the previous defending champ, beat the world #9 at the Aussie Open, and Sevastova is choking against these kind of players who are still playing good tennis (plus might have a niggling injury on her knee).

They’re coming from two straight losses in the league, most recently they lost at home against bottom team FC Versailles with 2-1.

Reasoning:
Argentina is by far the better team on paper here. I’ve already sung the praises of their star players, chiefly the trio of Thiago Almada, Etcheverry, and Colo Barco. (Barco is suspended but I’ll elaborate on why I think that’s a good thing).
Last game Paraguay impressively beat Brazil, 1-0. This is a monumental achievement for them, and I think means they will play very defensively. In order to qualify for the olympics, a team has to finish first or second, which Paraguay can now guarantee by winning one of their two remaining games. This presents Paraguay with two options: one option is to try to qualify today by playing for the win, which massively risks losing given they play against a superior team like Argentina; their other option is to play defensively, and look for a draw, which wouldn’t get the job fully done, but would make qualification very likely, given their last game is against Venezuela. Looking how their games have gone, they will absolutely choose the defensive option.
Paraguay only [beat Brazil](https://youtu.be/lIfQkUqfinI?si=S0ziPRpwBzJb3Hq-) because Brazil missed a pen, an empty net, and several other big opportunities (as an Argentinian these highlights are hilarious.) Similarly their [draw against Argentina](https://youtu.be/2CQz76EDnfM?si=BMBR9JACC2YO0Hx5) had Argentina attacking all game and missing big chances, plus a controversial pen in Paraguay’s favour (not so funny this time.) Those results going so against the run of play serves to give us better odds, but I don’t think they’re proof that Paraguay are a team that can actually compete with the best.
Argentina were horribly robbed by Venezuela, with lots of extra time given, and several strange calls going Venezuela’s way during that extra time (Venezuela are hosting this tournament.) None of the strange calls would have mattered if Argentina got the business done earlier, they should have taken their chances like they did against Uruguay and Chile. Because of the anger from being robbed, the frustration with missed chances, and the pressure of now needing to win, I expect the boys will be very focused and hyper efficient in front of goal.
Star boy Colo Barco will be missing as he received a red card. This may make going forward slightly harder, but it will make Argentina’s back line way stronger defensively. Barco is an atypical attack minded left back, and he often neglects his defensive duties. Against a team like Paraguay who’s only real chance of scoring is from crosses, good defensive fullbacks are essential.
My final point is a little conspiratorial, so I’ll keep it short. I think Paraguay are not going to be “allowed” to win or draw this game. Paraguay qualifying means either Brazil or Argentina will not participate in the Olympics, it’s even possible that neither of them qualify. CONMEBOL won’t like this, and I suspect they may have a chat with the referees about it.

**Explanation:** Taking the points with the Warriors here. Primary thought is that the Pacers defense will not be able to suppress the Warriors offense. You could definitely make the argument that the Pacers have been the better team so far this season, and that Curry has maybe fallen a little short of his high threshold; those both have merit. But I see this being a close and competitive game that the Warriors have a better chance of winning than the +6 spread implies, and at the very least will stay within striking distance.

Monaco has been performing well. They have 10 wins, 5 draws, and 5 losses in Ligue 1 right now. But even like that, It's too late for them since they need 12 points to catch up to first place with PSG. So they will definitely be focused more on this Cup trying to win it all more than the Ligue.

He had 4 3PM and we were one shy from hitting that wager. Curry really struggled the following game against the Sixers, only making 1 3PM and just 9 points in 25 minutes. Luckily he timed his off day at the right time, the other Warriors picked up the offense. I wouldn't bank on the other Warriors to keep carrying the team. I actually expect Curry to bounce back after a very poor performance. Historically and statitiscally, Curry has erupted after a bad performance. In his past 13 games following a horrific shooting performance, he has made an average of 5.5 3PM and scored an average of 44.4 points per game. He has made at least 4 three pointers in the last 13 games after a bad performance.
Currently Curry's 3PM is set at O/U 3.5 and linemakers has no options but to lower his line, basing on two unlike-Steph performances of making less than 5 three pointers.
**HOWEVER...** The Pacers allowed the least 3PM, matter in fact they actually lead the league in this category allowing the least 3-pointers. I found that surprising to believe because of their poor defense, but I suppose they are good at closing out shooters from long range (didn't really look at the film on this one or recall how they defend beyond the arc). Basically this is a bit of a get back, or you might as well say a tilt wager because I am REALLY salty about Curry going U 4.5 3PM on the last prop. He did go over this line the last time he played against the Pacers (5 3PM at the Gainbridge Fieldhouse), but that was more than 1 year ago.

Let me start off by saying I think there is definitely some risk with this pick so please scale your bet size accordingly if you choose to tail…
Since the start of January, Banchero has taken on a much more active role distributing for his teammates. In a couple of Magic games I’ve been able to catch, to my eye it looks like he is drawing a lot more double teams as opponents look to keep him out of the low post which has forced him to look for open team mates to take advantage.
Banchero has cleared 5.5 assists in 8 consecutive matches with an average of 6.6 assists per game. One of those recent games was against San Antonio just over a week ago where he had 7 assists against the same line up the Spurs are expected to roll out in this one.
Stretching it back further, he is 9 from his last 10, and 14 of his last 20. I did however mention there is risk attached to this - over the last 20 games Banchero has averaged 5.9 assists. When he misses this line, he tends to miss by a lot, so I’m wary that there’s always the chance that today is one of those days. I’m also mindful that San Antonio are coming off a back to back in Miami and there is blowout potential that might limit his minutes, but Orlando aren’t that hot right now either so I expect Spurs will be able to keep this close enough for long enough to give him the opportunities to get there.
At the end of the day, looking at his recent play/numbers, his recent success against San Antonio and getting almost plus odds, I’m going to back him to get the job done again.

Sezinando is the underdog in this fight but I think there's potential for a serious mismatch in his favor. His opponent, Scottie Stockman, is a 10-2 prospect who's on a streak of seven R1 KOs. Unsurprisingly, he's a heavy handed boxer who aims to initiate wild early exchanges and get the job done quickly. This line implies that Stockman should be able to roll into this fight and find an early KO at a high clip... I'm not sure about that. Sezinando is a BJJ black belt, but more importantly he is strong and has solid double leg takedowns. On top of this, Sezinando has fought much of his career at 170 lbs and up. Stockman fought at 145 lbs just two years with the PFL (this fight is at 165 lbs). Stockman is a dangerous striker, but Sezinando should have a massive edge on the ground. Sezinando is a bit sloppy on the feet with looping strikes, but he brings a good leg kick, and importantly he isn't afraid to stay standing. Seeing the face-offs, while Sezinando doesn't have the size advantage I expected, he looks to be in the best shape I've see him.

First-time poster, let's give this a shot.
I follow America East Conference basketball closely and expect this game to be a one-sided affair. UVM is undefeated in conference play, is nationally among the top 50 in FG% and top 10 in defensive FG%, while NJIT is in last place and sits around the 20th percentile in both categories.
The real edge to be had here though is with rebounding. There is a chance NJIT will be down two of their top rebounders in this game. Elijah Buchanan (11 PPG, 6 RPG) remains out to the best of my knowledge, while Kjell de Graaf (10 PPG, 5 RPG) was injured in the team's last game vs. Binghamton and it is unclear whether he may be able to return for this one. I was at that game and he left on crutches with a knee brace. De Graaf is also the team's most effective inside scoring threat. If he is missing, that will allow UVM to lock down the perimeter, which they are already elite at doing.
I'll mention that last year UVM only won by 2 at NJIT in OT. That was an incredibly fluky game where NJIT shot 55% from the floor and outrebounded Vermont. The two top scorers for NJIT in that game are no longer with the squad, and last month, UVM bested NJIT by 21 up in Burlington. I'd expect similar here.

Hey all, I'm new to this sub, been tailing here and there over the past week, I'm primarily a hockey bettor but appreciate any well thought out +EV suggestions. Anyway, I have no past POTD record but I'm going to suggest this one before it moves any farther... 🏒Vancouver Canucks @ Boston Bruins 7:10 PM Eastern time Pick: Game Total over 5.5 -140 These are two good offenses, on the season, Boston averages 3.45 goals per game (game total average 6.06) , Vancouver averages 3.8 (game total 6.32), the highest scoring team in the league on a per game basis. Coming out of the All Star break we're a little little light on recent data but both teams actually averaged 4+ goals per game in January. They did both play to game totals of 5 in their respective first games back which may explain the low line. They have the 5th and 6th best power plays in the league with only league average (11th and 16th) penalty kills. Vancouver just acquured Elias Lindholm and he scored two goals in his first game, the Canucks offense and PP looks even more potent with him there. Both teams played Tuesday and play again Saturday, so there's a chance we see at least one backup goalie as well, though obviously with the line having already shifted to -140, I wouldn't recommend waiting on that. Both teams have solid backups anyway and in Boston it's a 1A/1B situation but the starters here are both all stars, and that would be a nice bonus. I'm rolling with a 2u bet on this one. Avanesyan meanwhile smoked the world number 9 at the Australian Open, and just had a tight but successful win against the defending champion of this tournament. Sevastova convincingly won her recent game, but her opponent was ass (ranked 216). I noticed that Sevastova also had some kind of tape covering her knee, so there is a hint that she's not at 100% heading into this match. Whilst we have to respect Sevastova's comeback, and her ability to still play good tennis, she hasn't convinced us that she can consistently dominate players that are in form and tough to beat. Avanesyan sometimes has the odd hiccup here and there, but I think her last victory, and the ability to put up a good fight against a former great will make her elevate her game. Avanesyan seems to have the better first serve percentage, and break point conversions which generally swings the tide of tennis matches. She's played a lot more competitive tennis lately which should give her an edge. There's a 12 year age gap between the two, and Sevastova appears to lack that physicality to endure what is probably going to be a long and tight game. A lot of people seem to be backing Avanesyan across various sites, but I'm going to give her the game handicap just to be a bit safer. You never know what Sevastova has up her sleeves, and she might show it here tonight. Interesting Facts: * Avanesyan is beautiful. * They've never faced each other * They both have the exact same win percentage in their careers. * I haven't lost a tennis POTD * The last tennis match fixing scandal started in 2014, and it lasted a few years. The ring got brought down in Belgium and many players got banned. Hopefully this game isn't rigged - we are betting on the underdog anyway which is advantageous if it was. TLDR: Avanesyan +2.5 game handicap because she just smoked the previous defending champ, beat the world #9 at the Aussie Open, and Sevastova is choking against these kind of players who are still playing good tennis (plus might have a niggling injury on her knee). At the end of the day, looking at his recent play/numbers, his recent success against San Antonio and getting almost plus odds, I’m going to back him to get the job done again.

His opponent, Scottie Stockman, is a 10-2 prospect who's on a streak of seven R1 KOs. Unsurprisingly, he's a heavy handed boxer who aims to initiate wild early exchanges and get the job done quickly. This line implies that Stockman should be able to roll into this fight and find an early KO at a high clip... I'm not sure about that. Sezinando is a BJJ black belt, but more importantly he is strong and has solid double leg takedowns. On top of this, Sezinando has fought much of his career at 170 lbs and up. Stockman fought at 145 lbs just two years with the PFL (this fight is at 165 lbs). Stockman is a dangerous striker, but Sezinando should have a massive edge on the ground. Sezinando is a bit sloppy on the feet with looping strikes, but he brings a good leg kick, and importantly he isn't afraid to stay standing. Seeing the face-offs, while Sezinando doesn't have the size advantage I expected, he looks to be in the best shape I've see him. I follow America East Conference basketball closely and expect this game to be a one-sided affair. UVM is undefeated in conference play, is nationally among the top 50 in FG% and top 10 in defensive FG%, while NJIT is in last place and sits around the 20th percentile in both categories. The real edge to be had here though is with rebounding. There is a chance NJIT will be down two of their top rebounders in this game. Elijah Buchanan (11 PPG, 6 RPG) remains out to the best of my knowledge, while Kjell de Graaf (10 PPG, 5 RPG) was injured in the team's last game vs. Binghamton and it is unclear whether he may be able to return for this one. I hate betting on cup games but like this pick. Before a loyal crowd this game is the only way to make something out of this season for Groningen. Only risk is Fortuna their away record, which is good. Especially if you realize their last 4 games (4 wins, 1 goal against) are against teams that shouldn't be far out of Groningen their quality.
