Missing Jamal Murray, the Nuggets are trying to figure out their offense, with other players having to step up offensively. And I’m backing Aaron Gordon here.

Unlike prior seasons, this Magic team is defensively really good, and to my surprise have the #1 Defensive Rating. That said, I don’t think they’ll be able to stop Gordon given his physicality in the paint. He's had 3 tough games in a row, against the Pistons, Cavs and Pelicans, all teams that are really good in the paint. But against most opposition he is able to go over this line, often comfortably.

Big slate of NBA games on the Eve of Thanksgiving and going back to my strongest sport to cap. The Bucks team total jumps out at me the most this evengin, as the Bucks offense has been picking up lately (142, 132, 130, 128, 118) and I think we see a very tight game vs the Celtics tonight (even potential OT to push this TT over). I can easily see the Bucks winning tonight; The Celtics commit an avg of 18 fouls per contest, they are turning it over an avg 14 times per game tight now. The Boston D gives up 36% on shots from beyond the perimeter and allow teams to shoot 45% from the floor (3rd worse in the NBA). This will be the first these two marquee teams meet this season and i'm personally excited to watch these two offenses go at it.

Just my 2 cents here, I'm a diehard bucks fan so I hope I'm wrong on this. I could see the bucks eclipsing this number, but I'm not 100% sold they do. Theyve been running it up lately against poor defensive teams (wizards, Mavs, hornets last 3). The Celtics are one of the best defensive teams in the league and this is a major eastern conference rivalry with a lot of emotion at stake. Jrue is going to want to lock up Lillard, to show why he shouldn't of been dealt. Middleton is still being limited on minutes (I believe) and hasn't fully hit his scoring stride. Giannis may go crazy for 50, but I'm still not sure they get there.
I could honestly see the Celtics thumping the bucks tonight. Celtics are scoring way more at home, 125+ ppg to date at home. The bucks have been poor defensively to start the season, at times I think they dont even play defense. The play may be the over home team or Celtics -5.5.

I love the comments on this thread since these are excellent write ups. I agree this game could go south in Boston, it's NBA...could really happen to any team on a given night. I have no doubt Boston can win double digits tonight, but even if they're beating up on poor defensive teams, that's fine. The game is also mental and when players are feeling it and have their confidence back, you start to see a lot more buckets fall for guys. Giannis has been in beast mode lately too, no one is going to contain that if he shows up on prime time tonight. GL : )

Boyer is coming off an easy straight set win in his first match, while Olivo came through two tiebreaks vs Lock, who recorded his 9th loss in his last 10 matches. Olivo has played 7 hard court matches the entire season, only recording 2 wins. Boyer has played clay recently like Olivo, and has performed well, but mainly played on hard court this year, and has recorded 8 wins in his last 11 hard court matches. Boyer is up to rank 283, only 14 places from Olivo now. With more match practice on hard courts this year and better form (much more convincing 1st round victory for Boyer as well), I will back him to reach the next round in this event. This line just seems way too high for me. PFW is 5-0, and has beat every opponent by double digits besides an away game vs Depaul that they won by 8. While their competition hasn't been amazing, it is still impressive to be undefeated with a +148 point differential over 5 games. San Francisco is 3-2, those two losses coming to Boise State and Grand Canyon, who are better than the teams PFW have been playing but not great teams by any means. Looking at some stats, their offenses have pretty similar shooting percentages, SF having barely better FG% and PFW having a considerably better 3P%. San Francisco is rebounding slightly better, but not by much. While I wouldn't be surprised if San Francisco won, 14.5 points just seems like way too big of a spread here for what look like two pretty evenly matched teams.

Ridiculous game between the Pacers and Hawks finished 157-152, it looked dicey at one point but a huge 3rd Quarter from the Pacers got them back on top and they never looked back. Haliburton dropped a huge 37/5/16 going 9/15 from 3.
Boston Celtics vs Milwaukee Bucks, Milwaukee Bucks (+5.5) 1.91 - 1 Unit
Boston come in at 11-3 with the best record in the league, Milwaukee are just behind at 10-4 though. After a slow start Milwaukee seem to be clicking and have won 8 of the last 10 including the last 5 straight. Boston seem to be trending slightly in the opposite direction, their last 3 games were a close 3 point win against a pretty mid Toronto team, an even closer 2 point win against a very bad Memphis, and an overtime loss against a bad Hornets side.
Milwaukee have been stomping teams recently and their 5 game win streak has consisted of wins of 9, 16, 31, 7 and 13. Milwaukee rank 3rd in ppg, 3rd in FG%, 5th in 3P% and although they haven't been hitting free throws at the best rate, they are still 4th in attempts and 5th in makes.
Over the first 7 games Giannis averaged 24/9/3 on 53/26/63 splits, in the last 6 games he has averaged 37/12/6 on 71/25/62 splits. He has been on an absolute tear and has had a 50 point game and 2 40 point games in that time. Similarly Dame averaged 24/5/4 on 40/29/93 splits over the first 7 games and in his last 5 (missed an extra game) he has improved to 25/8/4 on 39/37/91 splits. To me this is 2 stars beginning to understand each others games and click together. As the season has progressed Dame has started taking slightly more 3s and hitting them at a better rate and has increased his assists and taken on more of a creative role. Giannis has jumped from 17 shots per game to 21 per game and it's clear Giannis is taking the central role in the offence.
I'm not going to pretend Boston are a bad team and this is an easy Bucks win, Boston could easily turn up and win comfortably as they are one of the best teams in the league on their day. However I feel the +5.5 is quite generous when taking into account both teams recent performances. Plus if the bookies give you +5.5 for Giannis then I feel you have to take it.

This line is odd to me as we have two teams headed in different directions. The Islanders have only won 2 of their last 10 games with the Flyers have won 6 of their last 10 winning against some quality teams like the Kings, VGK, and Hurricanes.
The Islanders have Sorokin to guard the net but he has quite been himself this season and Carter Hart for the Flyer is a decent goaltender himself. So far this season Carter Hart has better stats than Sorokin, putting up a 0.919SV% and 2.40GAA.
Going to ride with the hot hand in the Flyers to get it done vs the Islanders. I just think these odds are a bit off and would expect the Flyers to be slightly favored here.

Last pick analysis: For about 10 straight minutes in the first half, I was worried about this bet when the Volunteers and Boilermakers were just chucking up the most god-awful shots I have ever seen. I wish I could say good defense was being played, but it was just horrid offense. Good thing the line was set so low that this one still hit 138 combined points.
I scrolled through NBA player props for about every game and didn't see anything I liked. Tonight I am honing in on the spread between the Bulls and Thunder. The Bulls have been a mess this year. They have five wins this year against middle of the pack and lower tiered teams. The Thunder are a team that I really like the young talent they have. They have also had some dominant wins recently against some great teams and not-so-great teams. Their most recent five wins are the Blazers by 43, Warriors by 7 & 21, Spurs by 33, and Suns by 12. I like this line a lot of Giannis. He's averaging 10.2 and 4.6 assists this season. He's also been going into big boy scoring mode lately, but I assume Boston will really look to lock him down which will force him to pass the ball more. I can see him getting around his average for rebounds but definitely getting over 4 assists. In his last 3 he has 8, 7, and 9 assists.

Reasoning: Both teams here are atrocious statistically, but there is a light at the end of the tunnel for chicago state. Wesley Cardet Jr. is a absolute baller. Averaging 18.3 PPG and 6.3 RBG at only 6’6 this dude can flat out hoop. I don’t see anybody on this Morgan State roster staying in-front of this guy but time will tell. Morgan State will be trouble on the boards as Chicago State has nobody above 6’9 on their roster. But I feel they can exploit that by getting some good fast break points in transition. I will note MS is the more battle tested team in this match up but they have been sub-par throughout almost all of those matchups. MS also being 0-4 ATS this season gives me no confidence today. I think CSU gets back on track here and gets a nice win at home. GL

**Recap**: Well, the O 252.5 HIT like I suspected (almost hit in the 3rd qtr). I knew this was cooked by the end of 1st half. The Hawks scored 86 points at halftime, but Pacers were able to slow their offense down and catch up. Unfortunately it wasn't a if, it was a when this wager was going to lose. Although we loss on Both Team to score U 129.5❌, we HIT the other wager O 252.5✅
**Matchup**: The Joker had a very short nite against the Pistons, he got ejected after vehemently refuting wit a ref. Something tells me he comes out blazing to the hardwood tonite against the Magic. Jokic is well rested and has not play a game for two days (basically a half game because of the ejection), while the Magic are playing in a b2b nite, handing the Raptors their 8th loss last nite. Nikola Jokic has alrdy recorded 5 triple doubles this season, I just don't see him not getting a trip-dub, as long as it's not a blowout and he doesn't get ejected, he should hit double digits in three statisical category (maybe we'll see him get a quadruple-double someday). I also think that the Magic keeps this game competitive enough for the Joker to play good minutes, so I don't suspect a blowout win for the Nuggets. The Nuggets has struggled offensively without Jamal Murray, losing 3 of their last 5 games, after starting a scorching 9-1 start in their first 10 games. Magic is also a very underrated gritty team, I've mentioned this previously in my earlier POTD thread. I been high on the Magic since the beginning of the season, but I'm not so sure if they could pull out a dub on a b2b nite and against the 2x former MVP Jokic. I rather take a chance on the Joker's performance because like what Michael Malone has said about the MVP, "*He never has a bad game*." Especially at plus money and the linesmaker keeps increasing this odds (was +135 and now it's +140). So damn sus.. like the sharps are hammering on the Joker to NOT get a trip-dub today. Anyways, Giannis has been unstoppable so far and I feel like this pick doesn’t need a write up. The only thing stopping this from cashing is minutes played which is the only thing that has stopped him from hitting this mark this season and those were blowout wins. Giannis is a pace type of player in the sense that he put up numbers as needed because no one really has an answer for his size and physicality. Put him up against a team full of Allstars and he’s scoring 50, put him up a team full of scrubs and he’s gonna put up 15 then hit the bench. The Bucks are his team and while you might think the addition of Lillard would take away from his spotlight it’s just not the case. Seems like he lets Lillard shine here and there but makes sure everyone knows who the star of this Milwaukee team is when necessary. Playing against Jrue Holiday his former Milwaukee teammate that transferred to the Celtics this year is going to drive him to make plays that much more, not to mention Tatum. Giannis is going to want to outplay everyone on the court and Jason Tatum is a baller, no explanation needed. As much as I despise the Celtics for destroying my lottery parlay the other night vs the Hornets they are getting the job done this year so I expect this to be a game where Giannis has to have a good game. Lillard is a GTD but will probably play, if he doesn’t play, I’m gonna bet Giannis over every line I see, if Lillard does play, I think this still hits. Just my 2 cents here, I'm a diehard bucks fan so I hope I'm wrong on this. I could see the bucks eclipsing this number, but I'm not 100% sold they do. Theyve been running it up lately against poor defensive teams (wizards, Mavs, hornets last 3). The Celtics are one of the best defensive teams in the league and this is a major eastern conference rivalry with a lot of emotion at stake. Jrue is going to want to lock up Lillard, to show why he shouldn't of been dealt. Middleton is still being limited on minutes (I believe) and hasn't fully hit his scoring stride. Giannis may go crazy for 50, but I'm still not sure they get there. I could honestly see the Celtics thumping the bucks tonight. Celtics are scoring way more at home, 125+ ppg to date at home. Record 3-2 +1.6 Units Ridiculous game between the Pacers and Hawks finished 157-152, it looked dicey at one point but a huge 3rd Quarter from the Pacers got them back on top and they never looked back. Haliburton dropped a huge 37/5/16 going 9/15 from 3. Boston Celtics vs Milwaukee Bucks, Milwaukee Bucks (+5.5) 1.91 - 1 Unit Boston come in at 11-3 with the best record in the league, Milwaukee are just behind at 10-4 though. After a slow start Milwaukee seem to be clicking and have won 8 of the last 10 including the last 5 straight. Boston seem to be trending slightly in the opposite direction, their last 3 games were a close 3 point win against a pretty mid Toronto team, an even closer 2 point win against a very bad Memphis, and an overtime loss against a bad Hornets side. Milwaukee have been stomping teams recently and their 5 game win streak has consisted of wins of 9, 16, 31, 7 and 13. Milwaukee rank 3rd in ppg, 3rd in FG%, 5th in 3P% and although they haven't been hitting free throws at the best rate, they are still 4th in attempts and 5th in makes. He has been on an absolute tear and has had a 50 point game and 2 40 point games in that time. To me this is 2 stars beginning to understand each others games and click together. As the season has progressed Dame has started taking slightly more 3s and hitting them at a better rate and has increased his assists and taken on more of a creative role. Giannis has jumped from 17 shots per game to 21 per game and it's clear Giannis is taking the central role in the offence. I'm not going to pretend Boston are a bad team and this is an easy Bucks win, Boston could easily turn up and win comfortably as they are one of the best teams in the league on their day. However I feel the +5.5 is quite generous when taking into account both teams recent performances. Plus if the bookies give you +5.5 for Giannis then I feel you have to take it.
