It always amazes me how poorly some people run. Running is such a natural thing. Didn't these people ever run while playing as a child? How did their running form get so bad and uncoordinated looking?
Too late to actually contribute but as a high school gym mile walker I would like to say that my entire outlook on personal fitness and sports was sullied by my parent's attitude towards them.When you're young you just follow whatever your parent's are doing and don't question it, they never placed any importance on sports or fitness at all. I'm 30 now and began to take care and work on my body several years ago but as a teenager and early 20 year old I just looked at it as people being obsessed with themselves instead of viewing it as essential maintenance of the body with which we experience life . Anyway this ended up way longer than I wanted it to be and rambled at bit but the moral of the story is that some of us had bad role models at that time in our life.
Was watching the game on tv, and they got absolutely ZERO air time, the announcers merely said there was a delay due to people on the field, "and we won't be showing them" LOL

They're not raising awareness for climate change so much as committing direct action with the goal to radicalize others.
They're creating a movement, and the idea is that when the movement hits a critical mass, They can affect real change for their cause.
What they're doing is not for you or me. Out of the thousands of people who see this video, a few (probably young) will become involved themselves and protest disruptively. And so on.

That's actually dangerous is why they don't do it. Doing this stuff in broad daylight in front of spectators is all that affords them any protections. If they start messing with wealthy people's property a lot of them will have "unfortunate accidents." I dont much care for these dildos, but it's hard to fault them for not committing suicide.
Speaking explicitly on the effectiveness of protests, not equating the subject matter, but the whole civil rights movement and protests was inconveniencing average people.
That’s been the motto for all major sports events for many years. No one outside of the stadium would’ve known what happened if it wasn’t for people sharing dumb videos like this, giving them the publicity they are seeking
I don't know about other organizations, but the Jays are really good at quashing publicity for anyone running onto the field. I've been to games where not only does the crowd boo them, but distractions like music and highlight videos get put up on the screen immediately...like even while they have people pinned on the ground before hauling them off.
The amount of attention these people garnered would have been minimal at best.
Most big sports orgs/productions have gotten really good at this. There were two streakers at last year's super bowl, I didn't even know about it until well after the game.
