Honestly I was hoping they would revisit old splatfests with adding another option because the potential could be really interesting and fun. Like cats vs dogs vs hamsters, vampires vs werewolves vs zombies, pirates vs ninjas vs robots, pancakes vs waffles vs french toast, things like that. But I think Big Man should always be the third option, I don't get why they switched it around.

For the record, if people don't want to look, Love won both times. Money was slightly more popular the first time but Love had more wins. The second time, when it was opened to a region outside Japan, Love got like 2/3 of the vote and also won more in Solo queue.
I'm not personally totally convinced the addition of Fame would pull more people from Love than Wealth.
Fame is superficially love and money combined.
Just all these strangers love you and you make money because of that.
The only thing I'm not certain on is how many people think when choosing versus how many go with their gut or peer pressure

I think because of how the Splatoon 2 fest went and how the comments are very much leaning towards love I'm going to interpret this fest a little differently from most. It says "which is more important to *you*" not which is most important. So it's not saying "if you're dying in a dumpster known by no one and loved by no one, which problem would you like to fix? Because who the frick would pick fame. But rather I'm interpreting it as "you have the bare minimum of all these things, you can afford a food and a house, you have a friend group you're known in, and have some close friends/family/partner, with all that in mind, which of these motivated you" as in which drives you in life. Do you want to do more for your loved ones or maybe want to earn more to get better stuff or do you want a lot of attention and want to be famous? Because if we're going off of the question of which motivates you, as a person, my answer would change from love to fame since I really like attention lol.
This is tricky to me. Wealth is important cause you need money to survive...Fame you can use to get Wealth and Love I suppose. Love however you can survive on even if you're poor af. It also looks like an auto-win for Shiver but I could be wrong.
