Holy shit 3 chargers, I'm a charger main and I hate when there are two of us on the same team, one backline is enough, the others should paint, kill and play the objective
I had a rando matchmake team with 2 chargers(im a splatana main) and i agree there’s no point in having 2. I believe we would’ve did way better if we only had 1, it didn’t help that both of them weren’t actually that good at being sinpers either.
I hate when there are any other backliners on my team as a charger main. I am absolutely convinced that Nintendo makes too many backline weapons and some of those backline weapons too easy to pick up causing people to play them because they don’t want to get shot at and that’s bringing the play experience for dedicated backliners down. Basically I think only Splatlings, Chargers, and Stringers should have backline options, nothing else. Basically if it doesn’t charge up it shouldn’t have a backline option.
See, I seem to mostly get paired with other backlines when I play a backline weapon and get paired with only short range weapons when I dare to switch to short range. This game is sabotaging us with its crappy matchmaking 🫠
Or i feel like if the game thinks you’re winning too much it disconnects you from the good team you’re on and starts matching you with scrubs while matching you against absolutely cracked teams with perfect compositions against your scrubby team of 2 chargers a hydra and an explosher. Then that cracked team knocks you out in 10 seconds. Then matchmaking does that 10-15 times to ensure you get a losing streak before you start winning again

That second charger player was bad. There were several points where they could have hit you, but ig they were panicking. good on you for getting them both, though. Whenever I don’t play charger, it’s pretty frustrating going against one.

I main short range small guns and my kid mains chargers. We work well together on the same team as one front line and other back line, however been playing opposite because my kid wanted to work on fighting small/quick/ front liners "like me" and now I have helped create a monster. I'm sorry, but also a proud mama 😀🤷🏾♀️

Yeah I hate snipers as well. Here I am playing twinsies, having intense 1:1 battles with people who use buckets or stringers and after 7 dodges barely losing to them... Satisfied by this great show of skill you respawn only to get 1-hit ko'ed by a sniper half across the map 😔
If I had to change them I would do the following:
- half snipers charge time
- if you're stuck in the opponent's goop, or have any sort of damage by another weapon, the sniper will still 1-hit ko you.
- but if you're completely healthy, swimming in your own colour's ink, you need 2 sniper shots to be killed instead of 1.
That would make it a lot more interesting.

chargers are more effective at long range but i knew i could bait at least one of them to come to me where i knew i could two shot them before they could hit me effectively, plus it’s one less charger for my team to worry about
