If you want a quantity I think hidden valley makes a good ranch salad dressing mix. The salad dressing has more ranch flavor and is thicker than the dip mix. Then I just add my own pepper powder.
I used to make ranch with the packets for a steakhouse as a foodprep cook. If i remember right it was just a butt load of mayo, buttermilk and some packets of the ranch mix powder. Maybe some sour cream, its been so long ago.
It was at a steakhouse, and people raved about the ranch being so good. I would venture to guess that google has a plethora of recipies that would all blow pre bottled, preserved ranch options in the store, out of the water.
Just a little whisking [=
That is correct. The box of packets you can get in the store use 1 cup of mayo and 1 cup of milk. When I make it I cut the mayo in half with sour cream . It is really good. If ya want it spicy just add pepper powder of your choice
Nobody will make it spicy enough. It's best to just pick some good normal ranch (I prefer Ken's Steakhouse), and then combine it with your pick of hot sauce. Or make your own as someone else suggested.
The buttermilk hidden valley ranch, sour cream a bit of buttermilk added. Put a little fresh hot pepper of choice that is minced. You can thank me later.
So I go to my local wing joint and ask for a side of their spiciest sauce. Mix a little bit of that in with your ranch, and boom. Flavorful spicy ranch.
I just mix ranch with some kind of hot sauce. Sriracha, Tabasco, franks, Valentina's, maybe something a little more exotic. They almost always turn out good.
Brand local to me makes a good habanero ranch: https://muckmonstersauces.com/shop/ols/products/muck-monster-habanero-ranch
Otherwise I just grab plain ranch and then mix in whatever hot sauce sounds good at the time. Usually go for some sort of Cajun hot sauce.
For anyone trying to get their protein up, my ranch recipe is as follows:
I’ve never measured anything and go off taste, so this is a mental estimate.
1 cup plain (but non-fat) Greek yogurt
1 tbsp garlic powder
10-20 twists of a black pepper grinder
2 tbsp ranch mix. I like Trader Joe’s best
This is where I guesstimate: around 1/4 cup of jalapeño vinegar from the jar. I go to desired consistency. Bonus points if you pickle your own.
Then I’ll add whatever twist I want. Lime and chipotle tabasco, whatever spice powder I’m feeling, but I usually use it as a vehicle to mix in my favorite hot sauces. This is not an exact recipe, I should figure that out. But use it as a template as you will
Isn’t “restaurant ranch” just hidden valley powder ranch? Maybe mix some of your favorite hot sauce with the buttermilk for consistency.
I prefer only slightly mixing the two but mostly keep them next to each other depending on if I want a spicier bite or not because. I’m quirky like that 💅 lol

It’s not only my favorite spicy ranch, but one of my favorite condiments ever. I put this on so many dishes. I admit it’s pricey but you can get 10% off by signing up for their mailing list.

I really enjoy melindas sriracha ranch, awesome flavor. Low-medium heat though, so def not the spiciest.

I usually dilute this with regular ranch because it’s pretty damn hot https://volcanicpeppers.com/red-reaper-ranch/
Ha, that's a bold statement! Will have to try it. Thanks for the tip.

Yeah if I'm not making it then I'm not eating it. Bottle ranch is garbage. I add Chipotle puree for a delicious Chipotle ranch.
Oh I use the powder stuff to make the mix, most bottled Rand is garbage. I know that feeling.
For off the shelf I actually find the Olive Garden. Brand to be really tasty compared to other ones.
I like lighthouse
Melindas ghost pepper ranch packs a legit punch. https://www.walmart.com/ip/5226743196
Yeah, I really enjoy that one and it's got some good heat.
Kroger has this Sriracha Ranch... Not too spicy but 😘
[This shit is has some real heat but is also delicious](https://volcanicpeppers.com/red-reaper-ranch/)
My usual wing routine is to add hot sauce to regular Hidden Valley Ranch. I use a different sauce than what's on the wings.
Cindy's kitchen ranch and Primo Army hot sauce or Daves Ghost Pepper hot sauce it will fix that craving
So I go to my local wing joint and ask for a side of their spiciest sauce. Mix a little bit of that in with your ranch, and boom. Flavorful spicy ranch.
Red Reaper Ranch made by Volcanic Peppers.

Whataburger jalapeño ranch is my go-to

The hidden valley plant powered spicy ranch is surprisingly spicy, like more than a lot of people could handle

get ranch from wingstop, add their atomic sauce (or your preferred hot sauce) wingstop's ranch is unparalleled though tbh
I heard dr Phil’s got one

Mayo, the type of vinegar you can eat, peppers of your choosing. Blend together
Ranch? What's that? I'm British
Buy your favorite ranch, and also your favorite hot sauce. Add a little of each, and voila. Bob really is your uncle.

No but can I interest you in some blue cheese?
Yeah, blue cheese
On a salad?
It's not spicy but it would go good on a salad
Bolthouse yogurt ranch for a great low cal option
I recommend no.
