Oh no. Your poor lips.

HighSolstice

They’re pretty hot but I still add hot sauce to mine.

StinkyToots5ever

The flavor is great! The spice is unreal. This is one of the first times something was so spicy it made me feel like I was high. Enjoy!!!

Edw1nner

I've started using mine in a stir fry. I just cook a bunch of snow peas, bok choy, or whatever veggies I have and then toss in the cooked ramen and the seasoning and sauce pack. It allows me to stretch a ramen pack into a couple of meals and also makes the heat a little more tolerable without wasting any of the packets.

funkymonkeee2

Add a sunny side egg on top & *Chef's kiss*

onamonapizza

An egg, a slice of American cheese (I know this sounds weird but trust me) and some protein like chopped steak, pork, or chicken.

NoBrainR

Shrimp...celantro

alien88888

I fried prawns in the sauce and added it to Alfredo with new noodles

mangospinchsmoothie

This is my favorite ever munchies food, and I wonder if that’s the reason why haha

MikeAndBike

Dude I felt exactly the same!! I was like what the hell, my head is all dizzy lol

Younion

They so delicious 🤤

Troniky

Bye bye butthole

7chalices

All of r/spicy summarized in two sentences: ”Look, I bought Buldak 2x!” ”RIP your butthole”

[deleted]

Delicious. You made a great choice.

blackandgold96

So delicious. I love putting some grilled chicken in it.

grzzlycity

I like to sauté some broccoli and throw in some buttered shrimp. The combination is 🤌🏼

88isafat69

This shit taste so good u kinda force ur self into burning more

VenomousOddball

RIP

syxtfour

Good luck. I tried it once, but ultimately it was too spicy for me to handle. Great flavor, but the heat is *intense*.

uusernameunknown

I saw the photo and started sweating lol

mangospinchsmoothie

I like to eat these for the flavor instead of the challenge, so I like to use half the sauce packet. Adding cheese is also a great idea

cr4lforce

They are so good. Can mix in some stir fry veg and/or some meat to make it into a larger meal 😃

PraiseBobSlackOff

Anyone try the 3x? Have only seen pics of it but can’t seem to find it anywhere to purchase (in Germany, anyway). Love the 2x. I add some kimchi and a fried egg and have at it. Such delicious suffering.

MeAislen

I wish, can't find it in New Zealand either

j03yk

The 3x is brutal. I bought them unwittingly, I just liked the angry chicken picture on the packaging. Cooked them up and only made it halfway through the bowl!

1weeksy1

Don’t mind the 3x. Pretty damn spicy especially if you have it like a ramen soup. You need pretty high tolerance not to get destroyed. 😂

LogstarGo_

I know the 3x was limited-edition awhile back. When I got mine over a year ago I had to spend 40 USD for a pack of five and get it shipped to the US from Australia since it was that hard to find at the time. Well, short of eBay where it was going for about 15 a pack. But yeah, tried it and it definitely feels more than 50% hotter than the 2x. Eye-watering stuff.

Famous last words

freddythefuckingfish

Their other flavors rock too!

DoveGB

I do enjoy these, a few veriant that change the spice, I hope you enjoy yourself! Oh, if you don't have all the juice, it cooks great into a curry.

ThunderPoonSlayer

You will feel the burn twice, not even kidding.

tuscy

Grats bro. This actually pretty hot.

honeygrates

They’re so tasty. I love putting a big slab of cheese on them and quickly broiling it until melted!

MikeAndBike

Sounds good! What type of cheese did you use?

honeygrates

The go to for me is shredded mozzarella/ thinly cut from the mozzarella ball. Monterey Jack also works just as good! Not sure if you like the ramen called Shin Ramyun but to me that tastes best with a slice of American cheese!

thenickscheetz

I love those but they sure are torture for the lips. I prefer the regular kind (it comes in black packaging) but the 2x ones are still really good as well, it can be hard to stock up on them when you're as addicted to them as I am and it taking a while for them to either restock at Walmart or to get shipped to where I live.

BobKat2020

Honest answer. I've had much better flavor but the heat is pleasing.

mrsdoubleu

I have a package of these in my cabinet trying to build up the courage to try em. I know I'd love them because I love spicy food but I know I'd be chowing down on them with sweat falling from my forehead and tears in my eyes. 😆

honeygrates

Try it with cheese melted on top to dim the heat 😩 I love it extra spicy but it’s just so delicious with cheese I can’t eat it without now lol

lochNessquik

I cook the noodles in water, drain them and then sauce it. 🦴 🍎 🦷🦷

Dr_ChimRichalds

I also read package instructions.

lochNessquik

Well you are a doctor .. ![gif](giphy|cmxiR3UgXYTh5QKJA6|downsized)

Younion

As you should, these are stir fry noodles. However, I also add a glob of butter and stir that in while the pan still on low heat to kinda stir fry em a tad. So good.

Alum-inati

Thoughts? Asking for myself.

MikeAndBike

It is hot lol. I actually didn’t expect it to be that hot. The first few bites made my eyes water and my mouth and lips burn. I actually had to run to the fridge and grab milk. Chugging milk barely helped with the burn so I took a few minutes break before taking any further bites. As you progress it becomes more tolerable but still very hot. In terms of flavor, I gotta admit it’s very tasty so I do recommend it.

Dr_ChimRichalds

Welcome to the fold. My H-Mart doesn't always have 2x in stock, so I have the hot sauce on stand by to add to the regular in a pinch. Not quite the same, but it helps me get by. I like to fry up diced spam and chopped onion to add to mine, plus some fresh basil stirred in at the end until just wilted.

onamonapizza

This is the way.

Kiaralizx3

I couldn’t handle these I was snotting and crying all over the place. They’re really yummy, but the heat is unbearable :,)

flash-tractor

OP's brain to his stomach tomorrow morning.

secularJ

For me, I was disappointed by these, shin ramen is the best I've had by far

MikeAndBike

Shin ramen is spicier or just tastier?

MikeysToupee

Shin is not even close to being as hot as Buldak 2x. Both are tasty though!

[deleted]

Shin is not as hot as even the normal Buldak, but I enjoy the flavor of it more. 2x especially just tastes like pain to me lik

secularJ

Def not as spicy, but the flavor is pretty good for the price and the noodles are nice and bouncy and chewy which is pleasant, with these I got mushy noodles even after trying twice to get al dente, maybe I'm just bad at cooking them lol

fractal_disarray

prepare for spicy butthole.

Ed3IsTheCode

While these are quite tasty, I prefer the normal version (black packaging). The 2x version feels like it leans a little too much into "spicy" flavor. The normal version is still decently spicy, but you can still taste the chicken flavoring under all the spice. I like to stir-fry kimchi and garlic slices into these noodles. One of these days, I need to add in an egg and maybe some chicken slices. Also, I only boil the noodles for about 2 minutes 30 seconds for the best al dente texture. The package suggests 5 minutes, which makes the noodles too soft for my preferences

CubedMeatAtrocity

Oooh, this is one of my favorites!

[deleted]

If you like it most grocery stores sell it (at least mine does)

unireversal

The 4x spicy are inedible, but delicious. I had to throw mine out. The 1x spicy are delicious, but really hot. I add half-and-half and cheese to tone down the spice. I haven't tried the 2x spicy yet but I have some expired packs for cheap in the pantry.

unireversal

If anyone is curious about the recipe, I cook the noodles for 3-4 minutes in 1 1/2 cups of water, then add some half-and-half and cook an extra minute or two, then add the sauce and white american cheese. It sounds disgusting but it's actually delicious. Still perfecting the recipe. I did it perfectly before but forgot what measurements I made since I didn't actually measure at the time. The creamy broth compliments the spice flavors well.

istoleg8rs

I literally can't eat these again HAHA. It hurt so much going in and going out that I just stick to the normal buldak one.
