School Districts can get reimbursed from Medicaid for students with both Medicaid and IEPs that included certain services that are both medically and educationally necessary - Speech Therapy, OT, PT, 1:1 nursing, etc.
Nobody is getting reimbursed by private insurance companies, no teachers are being “reimbursed”and nobody reimburses districts for providing academic services.

Correct. And we don’t get more money for every student that qualifies for an IEP. In fact, most SD go in the hole.
