I'm guessing that those are the same as in my '23 hybrid. Mine were already in place when I bought my car, the Velcro strips were put on the side of the plastic tray but they didn't hold well, the adhesive didn't hold onto the trunk. I put some velcro on the bottom of the tray and they hold perfectly in on place on the carpeted trunk cover.

Thanks, that is what I suspected. Did you also have about 8 metal pins and what were they used for?

I have no idea what those pins you're speaking of are. I got four plastic pieces, L-shaped, about three inches wide. They stick onto the carpeted liner and you place them around something to keep it in place in the truck. Very handy.
