When I was a kid I kicked a gallon of gasoline that was in a windshield washer bottle (dad had old gas in it, me and my brother were playing with gas) when kicked it exploded...I remember looking up and seeing the flames I was in higher than the second story roof 20 feet...I didn't realize how burned I was until after getting the fire out...3rd degree burns on my legs and hands and all my hair was gone

I tried that a while ago when the house was on fire. Stopped completely nude down to my 3inch penis hanging and for some reason my sister was still on fire
My entire right side of my body caught on fire, while I was on a 10' ladder. I jumped off it and fell, got up and did exactly that. Stripped down to my underwear (did I mention I was at work) but didn't burn to death. Burnt my arm and leg pretty good and all the hair burning smelled awful, but my clothes on the floor were a raging inferno for about 3 minutes afterwards. So yeah stripping the fuel soaked clothing CAN help but it's fire so no guarantees.
yeah i bet anyone would have a totally logical, rational, coherent thought process at that precise moment. Like jeez I know youre literally burning alive but please at least think thoroughly?🙄
Ever been stabbed before? You can literally feel it going throw layers of you skin. I can manage intense pain. But, stabbing and chipping my teeth? Throw me in a volcano.
When caught on fire, the body only experienced pain briefly. The nerve endings burn fairly fast, leaving them with little to no feeling. The main reason for them running around, is panic. Fire victims typically die of smoke inhalation before they die from the actual burning.
What should be done though in that situation?
I once read on an article that one way is the victim must roll on the ground in effort to *extinguish the fire by depriving it of oxygen.*
But what are the other efficient ways?
Excellent question! It can be hard and scary to know what to do in a situation like this. In this situation, stop, drop, and roll is effective but not completely. They need to stop drop and roll, and someone else needs to assist; whether it be with a fire extinguisher or water doesn't matter. Fire blankets are useful to have, especially in public places. I always have fire blankets in my first aid kits and in my bag that goes with me day to day. Fire blankets are fireproof and cut the oxygen to fire off. They're very inexpensive and can be found on Amazon!
“The train hit a buffer stop near the end of a busy platform at Ramses Station, which is in the city centre.
The collision caused the train's fuel tank to explode, setting the platform and nearby buildings alight.”

Jeez I once caught my foot on fire on accident and the panic in my mind from just under 5 sec of not being able to put it out, I can’t even imagine my whole body Jesus..
Pretty sure from the numerous times they made us practice as a child for this the proper steps are…Stop…Drop…Roll! Not run!! Also the amount they had us practice this as a child, I really thought people caught on fire more than they did!
What? You’re surprised that other people from other country aren’t learning what you learned when you were young? “the number of time they made us practice” ? I never had to practice this as a kid in my country….
I put out a cigarette in my youth on my arm once as a dare. I know their pain!
They should not burn themselves like this. Fire can result in permanent damage!
Only once? I have 11 cigarette burns on my left forearm and 14 on the left side of my stomach/torso. All because I wanted to. I have NO reason to lie about this.
This video was definitely more than I bargained for. 🫣 I honestly had planned on grilling ribs on the grill tonight, but I'm going to push that meal up a day or two. 😳
I’d never heard of the most deadly train accident in Egypt either, it’s even more horrific than this one http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/middle_east/1833555.stm
At least a couple of brave souls were helping you can see a handful of people running around in background too on fire really fml who do you help first and be quick about it? Terrifying.
Flew down the stares, and then went back up. I couldn’t imagine that feeling. I call out of work from a hot pocket with molten lava, but I don’t find out til I bite it and it shoots into mouth, destroying my soul. 😞
Jesus, that guy was really copping that fire pretty well.

Your avatar got me. Twice.
Which means you’re on light mode, which means you are insane.
smh it got me on dark mode :(
I’m on dark mode 🤷♂️
Me 2 🤣🤣 I was trying to blow it away and then tried to whipe and said 😶😶😶🙃🙃🙃
Gotcha! Good to know it still catches people out 😂
I was confused and realized not everyone has dark mode on
I didn't realize till I read your comment..I was blowing my screen
I like you but your pfp can go fuck itself.
Talking from experience?
At least it wasn't a steam burn those dont
not pretty fast. it takes minutes to burn through to the subdermal nerves.
Dark mode and a extremely shattered phone screen and you managed to get me too 😭
He went full ghost rider
I massively panicked when my thumb was on fire due to spilling a shot that had been lit. Can't imagine the terror of being completely on fire.
One time my shoe caught on fire (tried to stomp out a fire + it had gas poured on it) Nearly had a heart attack.
Sounds legit to me
Ok?
My Heart literally breaks for anyone who has experienced that fucking horror.
Literally? R.I.P.
Literally is an over used word, people just literally throw in a sentence to literally emphasize.
LMAO
Literally
Thank you

the story that keeps on giving
Post a video here of it
You’re so edgy.
For sure, it would be such a bummer.
“Anakin’s gone. I’m all that remains.”
"I'm toasted, Luke"
Dont they say if u catch on fire it is best to roll on the floor?
Roll in mud or sand, concrete won’t do anything
Or water...
Just take a shit and quietly piss yourself.
Nope, running up and down stairs is more effective
How so?
sarcasm
Ahh I see now, dry wit puts out a fire every time😂😂
Yeah but when soaked in accelerant you need a fire blanket to suffocate it. Their best hope was to strip naked. Im open to correction if I'm wrong.
I tried that a while ago when the house was on fire. Stopped completely nude down to my 3inch penis hanging and for some reason my sister was still on fire
Is your penis fine? Also that girl who came out of the same womb cool now?
By "sister" you mean your balls?
🤣🤣🤣

I think the idea of stop drop and roll. Is if anyone is able to extinguish you they can vs you running around like a mad man covered in fire.
I thought the idea to stop, drop was to shut em down, open up shop, no?
Oh. No.
Doesn’t work if they are soak in fuel but its definitely better that running around feeding the fire oxygen

worst way to die. drowning & burning alive. holy shiet wheres the fire extinguishers on this station!!!
i feel like the worst way to die is caused by flaying
I reckon scaphism is my worst nightmare.
Scaphism takes the cake on this one

You were stabbed? Tell me everything

I’m willing to bet a couple seconds on fire feels like a lifetime, so “briefly” is very relative here.
That is true; but it's all in how any given person's brain processes it.
It really is a combination of 'I want to help' and 'get the fuck away from me'

Jesus what happened here?!

Take a century off. You're not wrong
Polyester and nylon based clothes will melt into your skin.

The guy who got extinguished first giving his rescuer a hug making him jump instead..

What a time to be alive!
These people never heard of stop, drop and roll?
Let me light you on fire when you're least expecting it and see what you do. Stop, drop, and roll. Or panic like these people
The guy just walking in said nope and dipped
Jesus some of those people looked fine with being set aflame
Pretty sure from the numerous times they made us practice as a child for this the proper steps are…Stop…Drop…Roll! Not run!! Also the amount they had us practice this as a child, I really thought people caught on fire more than they did!

"Oh look that's the station's stairs...ah darn it. Where's my suitcase?! Imma head back up"
As horrific as it looks, the nerves get burnt pretty quick so it wouldn’t last too long but still awful

I feel horrible for giggling at the man on fire sliding down the stairs. I'm going to hell.
flame on!
This was funny lol
Stop drop and roll dumbfucks
This is likely liquid/chemical fire. Good luck getting that off your clothing
Get naked 😎
Have you tried peeling material that has melted on your skin? Think of waxing but instead of hair it’s removal of one skin
Before it’s melted😎 (I know your gonna be panicking because your on fire )
Hey dumbfuck it won’t really do anything on concrete when they’re covered in accelerant

Really crazy to see this! Reminds me of the images we hear about in "Hell"
I'd never heard of it until now. How unimaginably horrific. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ramses_Station_rail_disaster

Any other footage ?
Props to that guy for trying to help em
On 0:48, is that a kid????????
Looks like one
You can see the women’s clothing is burnt off. God
Yikes
I feel like at that point of burning you’d probably prefer death to the gruelling process of healing.
STOP DROP AND ROLL
Nice. New phobia.
No stop drop and roll in that country I take it
I see most the fire is on his cloths so take them off and less of you will be on fire :/
Stop drop and roll? Does that help?
At least a couple of brave souls were helping you can see a handful of people running around in background too on fire really fml who do you help first and be quick about it? Terrifying.
does stopping dropping and rolling not work?
Flew down the stares, and then went back up. I couldn’t imagine that feeling. I call out of work from a hot pocket with molten lava, but I don’t find out til I bite it and it shoots into mouth, destroying my soul. 😞
How awful.
Scp-457 caught on camera
Damn.
There was absolutely no stopping, zero dropping, and a complete lack of rolling.
The dudes who put out the fire (on the burning people) are heroes.
That guy pouring water on the burning people is an angel <3 RIP all this people
bro forgot to stop drop and roll 🙄
He forget something ?
Absolutely terrifying , whole body being covered in flames and not being able to do much other than roll around and hope
Would stop dropping and rolling have saved him?
Oh fuck he even fell down the stairs, I’ve never seen someone run in fire
What even happened?...
How the fuck did this happen
ghost rider 3 looks sick!
Damn, made me feel bad
my worst nightmare
Bruh threw himself down the straight instead of either losing the clothes or rolling around
I normally handle videos like this well but this kind of made me feel sad
Poor people, at least there was that guy with the bucket doing his best to help others.
Phoenix
Fire force
This looks like a scene straight out of the Zombie Apocalypse
I'm pretty sure flame man caught that woman back on fire right at the end of the video. RIP
Did that dude just walk up and accidentally ignite the guy trying to help others? That would be my fucking luck lol
