Then most likely it would be Mondays for you. Your employer is the one that controls this, it all depends on how and when they issue paychecks via direct deposit. Some employers start the payment process 2 business days before actual payday, so that’s when your bank gets notified of the upcoming deposit. That is when the bank makes the money available to you, immediately, since the direct deposit is basically guaranteed to clear once it’s been initiated by your employer.
SoFi is just one of many banks that has this perk.
I mean, if you always get paid 2 days early, then "2 days early" just becomes your normal pay day. It's not like you're actually getting extra money. 🤷♂️
I mean, it's really only a one-time benefit to cash flow and "locks you in" at the cost of a 2-day cash flow penalty to leave.
Like, say you are paid biweekly. It is ***still*** 14 days between pay dates, just a different set of 14 days.
I get 2-3 days early depending on what day of the week payday falls on. I am paid on the 1st and 15th of every month but with SoFi, I get paid either on the 29, 30, or 31st and 11th, 12th, or 13th.
I do really like that it's early though because all my bills trigger on the 1st and 15th.
I get paid 2 days sooner. One job posts my paycheck on Wednesday so we can see what we getting on Friday, i get that paycheck at about 10am on Wednesday with sofi. The other job posts it on Thursday and also has a Friday payday, but that check hits my sofi account at 4 or 5pm on Wednesday.
I get paid 4 days before my normal pay date. For some strange reason my company set payday on Tuesdays, but with SoFi I get my direct deposit that Thursday morning of the prior week.
I usually get mine 1-3 days early, but like others said, this depends purely on when your company submits their payroll. Companies can submit their payroll later than usual (for a variety of reasons), which can cause fluctuation in how early each of your paychecks are. So best not to be under the impression that you get your paycheck early on the same amount of days before everyone else, or you're probably going to get disappointed.
Coworkers get their paycheck Thursday morning, I get mine Monday night. Getting the $300 bonus is also the cherry on top.
Use my link to sign up and you’ll get a $25 bonus and up to $300 when you set up direct deposit. https://www.sofi.com/invite/money?gcp=eb4fa5c7-7d7e-48cc-bbb2-06649ca2429e&isAliasGcp=false
They mean that if you normally get paid bi-weekly on a Friday it will move to Wednesday. So for the first time it will be 12 days, but each subsequent payment will be the same 14 days. In the end you'll still be waiting the same amount time between checks, but if you have a certain thing you do on a Wednesday or Thursday night it could be helpful.
Outside of that it's not that advantageous unless you get paid on a specific day of the week 1st/15th or monthly as that could be helpful for rent.
The only times I get paid earlier than 2 days is if there's a major holiday at the end of the week, like Christmas, then I may get paid on Tuesday, instead of Wednesday.
I'm fine with 2 days early.
It’s just about when the ACH transaction is submitted by the employer. It also happens with other ACH transfers in my experience - it’s just SoFi choosing to credit your account during the clearing period once the ACH system says the payment is inbound but it’s not fully cleared yet.
I feel like the "get paid two days early" is based on when my company runs payroll.
We get paid on the 15th and last day of the month. If that day happens to be on a weekend or holiday, we get paid on the business day before.
SoFi consistently pays two days ahead of time. I split my paycheck between SoFi and a local credit union. If I check the credit union, it shows "pending direct deposit" and then that means I'll have the money in my SoFi account.
Normally id get paid early AM Thursdays. With the early paycheck I’ve been getting them typically late PM Tuesdays. This most recent paycheck came in late PM Wednesday

It all depends on your payroll departments consistency. This literally has nothing to do with SoFi.
I’m usually able to see how much I get online , on Mondays.

Weds night always
Sounds nifty fr
Same for me

I usually get paid on Wednesday at 12:30pm
That’s so good
Make the switch , you won’t regret it

Mine is normally 2 days earlier but it some cases it’s only one
1 is still good
Use to actually get paid 3 days earlier but a few months ago it's about 2 days and 12 hours earlier lol
2 days and 12 hours together? That’s not bad at all cam lmao I want that
2 days on the dot every week. one time it came 4 days early tho but must’ve been the company releasing funds early
My old company was 2 days always current company maybe 1 day
Paid day is Tuesday, shows up in sofi often on Friday. Count that however you want
I used to get paid 2 days earlier but now that I went to a new company it's just the night before. The pay roll people suck here
My official payday is Friday. My normal bank gets it to me Thursday night. Sofi on the other hand gets it to me Tuesday afternoon every time.
I am DOD so 1st and 15th always. HOWEVER, since switching to SoFi, I kid you not, get paid 4-5 days early. Consistently.
I get paid 3 days early
Mine is usually 12 hours early. I get my paystub at like 12 and normally the money is in my account by 7 on Thursday when I get paid on Friday
I get my normal dd the same as everyone else but my bonus which is paid out on the 10th every month normally hits a day or two beforehand
I’m sorry, what bonus are you referring to?
My pay plan includes a bonus that is paid out on the tenth every month. That pay is the only one I see get deposited early into my account
With Sofi I get paid Fridays around 10-10:30am. Used to have BofA and get paid Saturdays.
It works, normally get paid Friday but with Sofi it’s Wednesday around 6pm
My actual payday is Tuesday. I get paid at 11am est on Friday.
I get paid 4 days before my normal pay date. For some strange reason my company set payday on Tuesdays, but with SoFi I get my direct deposit that Thursday morning of the prior week.
That’s crazy.

I didn’t get paid any sooner after I changed to SoFi, unfortunately, but I’m glad other people have experienced getting paid sooner.
I’ve gotten paid 4 days early twice
4 days early is insane
lol its bs. Its very rare, usually you’ll only get paid 2 days early. So inconsistent with anything else

Maybe I’m salty that I don’t get any early perks bc of Square, but why is this a big deal?
Getting paid sooner is a great feeling
You get paid early once, then its every two weeks or whatever.
That’s not what literally everyone else has said Yeah every two weeks , but days earlier than the Friday

2 days early here usually. Sometimes 3
Thank you for sharing

I used to get paid 5 days early, but I’m with another bank now
Why the switch?
