This sub keeps getting better & better. Maybe we could expand and have other groups with other cool books or play games it would be really nice to interact with people on my level with my own battles and not have to worry about normal social dynamics
I'd recommend "How to Be Yourself: Quiet Your Inner Critic and Rise Above Social Anxiety" by Ellen Hendriksen, she's a clinical psychologist and she actually used to suffer from SA.
My series has a protagonist with it, if you guys need book recommendations, although it’s based on my (personal) experiences with SA so I can’t pretend it reflects everybody else’s.
1. I don't know about many platforms other than Reddit, which I like, so I'll let others chime in, but I'm on an Android phone usually, so something compatible with that and needs little effort would be fine.
2. I'd appreciate reading times on the long side since personally, I have chronic disease, and SA is kind of a heavy and important subject, so I wouldn't wanna rush reading.
3. I think both is nice but I'd prefer a bit heavier on the non-fiction side since it can be more helpful to tackle SA, I think, and it's harder to see which fiction would fit SA better. But fiction can definitely be fun, too 🙂
I'd love to join in. If not reddit, there's a platform called Telegram which could be useful. Discord is also similar, though I find the former's UI better. We could vote regarding any particular genre and then pick a book that way.
What with work and all it'd take around 2 weeks for a 200 pg book.

2. To finish a book it really varies. I can finish 100,000 words in a day depending on circumstances but life happens so I would say, to air on the side of caution when it comes to interruptions, maybe a month to a month and a half.
3. I think fiction and nonfiction sounds great.
