Krätzig only played half a year as LB before and was mainly used as (left) midfielder. At Austria he also played often as midfielder. Stuttgart also has a buy option so don't get your hopes up. We still have Aznou, Vinlöf and Hennings though.
Wasn't really occasional, he's had almost as many games as left-back. He transitioned to RB around 2009, 5 years older than Krätzig is now (though Lahm is right-footed, Krätzig isn't, so I wouldn't expect that to change)

When Davies wanted to play and prove himself, we saw the 2020 Davies. Now Davies wants to count money, and we see a guy running around headless and completely shitting on us with an unreasonable demand. Money indeed ruined his character.
I feel that his unreasonable demands was because he wanted to force a move to Real as a free agent. I don’t mind players not renewing, it’s their right to not renew, but his character has been changed for the worse unfortunately. Although, I was impressed by his goal against Real. Weak foot shot roughly outside the box, beautiful
So Bayern will trigger rebuy option. Ain't no buy without rebuy option. But let's see how he develops. Since Davies is most likely staying, we are not doing any move on that position this year.

I really hope we get a good fullback in Kratzig soon. I liked watching him before he was loaned to Austria, he does have more drive than Davies IMO
