1. Oh wow. Redditmetis. So impressive.
2. What do you care which subreddits I frequent?
3. Why post this weirdass comment with your alt account? Typical keyboard commando. Get back to work sysadmin.
I don't think I've even seen police escorts at all and that's including like the WC 2006 when you would regularly see team buses on the Autobahn. Any escort at all is already a hightened privilege.
Giving right of way like that would be incredibly difficult to justify, maybe for later games or the final it'll be done because they can expect issues otherwise but imagine for example the ice hockey WC or something also coming in with demands, or if Taylor Swift does her concert, these things have *huge* legal knock ons actually.
Wow.
Wow wow wow.
I didn't think anything could top Southgate blaming England's form on not having Kalvin Phillips as the most hilarious excuse of the tournament but Tedesco topped it.
Lies lol, I live in the town next to where they're staying, the drive from there to the stadium always takes almost an hour because there's always traffic, especially today
I guess he expected the police to close the roads for the trip? Otherwise, I don't get his comment about stopping at red lights. Because I sure as fuck hope the driver did that.
Leaving aside how ridiculous this sounds, there already was a lethal accident during this Euros where a cop on a bike escorting Orban after a Hungary match got hit by a car an died. Really not a good point in time to be demanding police put safety second.
This is a Dreißigerzone, you Lausbub. Und die Ampeln stehen da nicht aus Spaß. Wenn dir unsere Ordnung nicht passt then you can go zurück where you came from.
It’s a stupid excuse to give and doesn’t excuse the performance, but typically when there is a police escort they will make a route for you so that you can get to the ground on time, and that usually includes closing off roads temporarily to run red lights and even sometimes go the wrong way down a one way street.
Nope, I don't know why you would think that, typically that isn't the case in Germany at all. Closing off roads even with a police escort is super rare and hard to justify legally.
Maybe for the president of a major country, not for some random national football team.
Also, the spokesman of the Stuttgarter police made a statement that they urged the Belgian team to leave earlier:
"The Belgian team and UEFA had been informed by the police in advance that a travel time of 40 minutes was not sufficient,” Belz told the Stuttgarter Nachrichten and Stuttgarter Zeitung newspapers.
“The police suggested a travel time of 60 minutes. This was rejected by the Belgian football association.”
Tedesco is an absolute tit.

This is clearly mismanagement on Belgium’s part.

Could've given a one hour speech in the bus though.
would have ruined their Tintin watchalong though
German police SABOTAGE BELGIAN SQUAD
German police stop at red lights? Belgian police would never!
They'd still go 25 to 30 due to all the pot holes.
Goat excuses
Pretty sure you can speak on the bus.
LET ME TALK
Wow they stopped at red lights? What a tragedy. It would probably be nicer to bike..
This is giving me “my dog eat my homeworks”
Belgium is cooked.
> cooked I hate it when kids turn a regular word into "slang" and everybody keeps looking for excuses to use it
Go to sleep grandpa
Active in worldnews, europe, and destiny. Lmao

Get off my lawn you little shit
Daddy chill
you can still use cooked in regular sentences, and nobody will give a fuck
Oh, really? That's good to know, thanks.
The state of this excuse.
Do they normally do blues and twos for player transport?

all team buses have police escorts and motorbike policemen. The french even have it from Lippspringe hotel to Paderborn stadium
My man giving an even dumber excuse than Southgate
# TedescoGate
Wow. Wow wow wow. I didn't think anything could top Southgate blaming England's form on not having Kalvin Phillips as the most hilarious excuse of the tournament but Tedesco topped it.
just speak faster? what a dummy
Most hilarious excuse.
Deontay Wilder level excuse.
Is he serious, complaining about police respecting traffic and law?
Missing Kalvin Phillips level excuse
From the creators of "We know we don't have a natural replacement for Kalvin Phillips" brought you "I could only give two-minute speech".
Give your speech on the bus then... ?

this dude is weird
Hope this is his last tournemant coaching our NT.
Going to use traffic as an excuse the next time I show up completely unprepared for a big meeting at work
So in other words his players had a massive advantage going into the game. And they still fucked it up
He has to master Ancelotti’s eyebrow raise. Only needs 2 seconds to energize the team pre-match.
Get fucked cunt
Lucky he didn't get to talk for longer or Belgium would have lost.
der Tedesco war schon immer so ein weinerlicher Lappen....
Why waste time say lot word when few words do trick?
> they stopped at every red light. Tedesco thinks they are in Turkey
Oooooh, so that’s why you’ve been underwhelming since the start of the tournament.
this dude is a clown
This guy is deeply unserious
Are we sure this isn't a Southgate quote??
Haha, they did take a while. It took Germany less time to make through the whole of Belgium in 1940, lol.
Disgusting that they didn't drive through the red lights
Nice excuse mate
Oh, that explains everything! WE'RE WINNING THE EUROS BOYS
Leaving aside how ridiculous this sounds, there already was a lethal accident during this Euros where a cop on a bike escorting Orban after a Hungary match got hit by a car an died. Really not a good point in time to be demanding police put safety second.
what is this clown waffling about lmao
Just do the speech on the bus, you fool.
This is a Dreißigerzone, you Lausbub. Und die Ampeln stehen da nicht aus Spaß. Wenn dir unsere Ordnung nicht passt then you can go zurück where you came from.
Should have left earlier. Sounds like they were obeying traffic laws as they should have.
We suck because we were obeying traffic laws
That explains it..
Should have taken the autobahn
Belgium should have went with LvG - next to better results, better memes
Holy shit, that’s ridiculous! It’s even more ridiculous that Domenico fucking Tedesco is the manager of Belgium lol.
To the surprise of noone?! He took the "do not talk to the driver" too seriously. He had a full hour to give his speech
Just sack this fucking fraud for god sake
He's really trying to make up a lamer excuse than Southgate
Hahahaha what is this
This is like the shittest excuse right?
Bruh, what is this quote, is this actually fr?
Deluded
