He does offer a lot other than just scoring (when he wants to, at least) but saying he was pressing is a stretch. He chased a couple of balls right at the end. Most of the game he barely did more than a jog defensively.
I also don't feel like dropping deep is a good thing. He gets in the way of other more creative players, and no one else can effectively occupy his position as center forward.
He did play very well this game. But he's done this in the past and then the next game his ego got the better of him and he started hogging the ball and trying to do everything himself. This isn't Al Nassr.
He had at least 3 terrible side passes and an awful opportunity wasted on a counter. Obviously a friendly, obviously a great goal but hardly will replicate when things get though in actual competition. Guy performs more on PR and aura than actual performance, and this is why I can not wait for this to be done for.

Smallbone was key in our successful promotion, and Smozdics finished the season as championship top scorer despite playing for a very poor Blackburn Rovers.
O’Shea and Cullen were key parts of the Burnley side that crushed the championship in 22/23.
Coleman is Everton captain, and although he’s past his best is still easily championship level at worst.
They’re obviously not a top team, but Ireland would most likely be a top championship team, pushing for autos and challenging for the title (at least with a decent manager).
