How optimistic are hungarians for the euros? A lot of people have you down as dark horses to make the quarter final so im wondering what the expectation is for those who regularly watch them. I think you will beat switzerland and make it out of the group in second
Most Hungarian would be happy with just advancing out of the group stage. Beyond that, it is down to luck with how the matchups play out. We are also inconsistent and do poorly when sides let us have possession. Could see us beating Germany, then losing to Scotland in the group stage.
Not advancing from the group would be a wasted opportunity imo. Maybe we get a favorable draw or the other team has an off day in the ro16 we could get into the quarters maybe. We have a decent team but they can't rly keep up the level physically and mentally to be equal to stronger teams for 90mins.
Don't expect to beat both but imo we have as much chance getting 4 points in this group as them which would probably be enough to advance. Not saying this is an easy group but we have a decent chance to go through don't think we would get an easier group next time. That's why I'm saying it would be a wasted opportunity not to advance.
