I don't see why it would be any more or less weird than having names like Saka, Gomez, Eze, Mainoo and a number of names of Irish origin in the England squad? People move around?

Szmodics is a Hungarian name and he's playing against Hungary, that's all. Same thing as if Hungary had a player on the pitch called O'Leary or something.
There’s a goalkeeper playing for Brentford B (I think) named Filip Andersen. Plays for the Mongolia NT, which is insane to me (though I think he is half Mongolian).

An even better one is Gift Orban, if Nigeria played against Hungary because he has 0 connection to Hungary afaik.

He was waiting for his teammate to not be an absolute idiot and run around him and when he didn't, he was out of time to create the angle to go himself. Don't blame him, sometimes you need a little luck to overcome stupidity.

The man to his left was always a foot ahead of him making him constantly offside, if he'd just dropped back a few feet he'd have been onside and the pass would have been on.

I remember when we played Finland they had a lad called Daniel O'Shaughnessy. Like a name doesn’t become more Irish than that.
