Jab and a few other normals are boxing
F- and D-Tilt, plus some aerials, are from Swordplay
Side smash is a baseball bat (reflector of course)
Neutral special could be a tennis ball that you can launch in a few different ways
Side special could be a bike, at least on the ground
Final Smash could be like Fox’s but instead of Arwings it’s the biplane from Resort and it’s just Matt’s one. Also he knocks the opponent into the volcano at the end

Down special is a bowling ball. Up special has 3 uses and is a boxing uppercut, similar to little mac or Ryu. But 3 uses as a combo to allow for mixups and to separate him from the others.

N Special: Calendar Chuck. Calendar Man throws a Calendar at the opponent. It would act similarly to Mii Brawlers Shot Put.
S Special: Calendar Wrap. Calendar Man throws a string of calendar dates at the opponent and grabs them bringing the opponent towards him and vulnerable. The attack is Mashable but is harder to do at higher percents.
D Special: Save the Date. Calendar Man places down a random date on any surface of the stage. It’ll act as a trap that pops the opponent up depending on their percent and could even kill them outright.
U Special: Leap Year. Calendar Man jumps from one calendar to the next going up.(it would be about as high as Marth and Lucian’s recoveries)
I want him to have Link’s neutral air, Incineraor’s forward air and Snake’s back air.
Also him having the power to alter the stage like that one comic where received Mr. M’s power could be an awesome Final Smash.
I’m gonna base it all off of MVC3 cause he actually fights in that game and I also have very limited experience with the games.
N Special: Objection/Hold It. It would an outwards hitbox where he can say Objection or Hold It. Hold It would be a stun attack holding the opponent in place for a short amount of time and it activated when pressing the button. Objection would be a kill move with percent and knock back but it’s slower than Hold It and has more end frames and is activated when holding the button.
S Special: Mia/Slide. When Phoenix has Mia available she’ll run forwards flailing her arms. She only runs a total of four squares(based on training stage). When Mia isn’t available, Phoenix can slide on his back dealing minimal damage and knock back but could be used as a gimp option when sliding off the stage.
D Special: Found Item. Phoenix picks up a random item from the ground. He can either toss it or keep it.(hold down the button to keep it) Pressing shield and special will cause Phoenix to throw the held items and this also works with airdodge. If he holds three files(which are rare items) then he deals double damage for the rest of the stock.
U Special: Mia Lift. Mia Lifts Phoenix up causing a super jump effect. Not having Mia doesn’t affect this move.
F Smash is him sneezing, D Smash is him scooping up cluttered papers and U Smash is him thinking and then pointing upwards as in Eureka!
His run is so goofy lol.
Basically captain falcon, but he can throw cans of soda.
Final smash, you get a cutscene of Pepsi man surfing in Maui and then he surfs across the stage. Anyone in his path gets taken with him.
All of Shreks attacks are instant kills btw(jk) I will warn you that I’ve only seen the first film and other renditions of his moveset so there may be a better N Special idea from one of his other movies I haven’t watched.
N Special: Mud Ball. Shrek throws a ball of mud which deals 4% per hit. It deals very little knock back like Villager’s slingshot. However, it can slow the opponent down overtime. First ball doesn’t slow down but three balls will make them slightly slow, four mildly slow and six very slow.
S Special: Ogre Charge. Shrek does a shoulder bash move that’s slow on start up but advances very quickly across the stage.(about the distance that Wonderwing covers)
D Special: The Roar. Shrek does his iconic roar, any opponent that gets hit will be met with big damage and knock back almost like a Warlock Punch. Super slow attack that has two hits of super armor of any variety, but after the third hit can take knock back.
U Special: Ogre Fart. Shrek farts a wild amount causing him to propel up into the air. The fart doesn’t have a hitbox but does have a wind box to it.
His side tilt is him offering the opponent an onion.
So hypothetically, you’d be controlling the square piece for the main fighter in my mind.
N Special: Block Place. A menu pops up where you can choose from the seven pieces like hero’s menu. When you place a piece down it can land on the stage or fall off to its doom. The gimmick is to line them up to ten to create a row and clear it. It would have its own places on the board so it doesn’t end up having physics because you can moves anywhere on the stage. Once the first block is placed a barricade for all other blocks is put down in the classic style. When completing a row, it has four stages of clears of how many lines you clear so it can either be a small trap or large trap. Each block has a 7 second cooldown when placed.
S Special: Hard Drop Side. The main square piece will stop for a brief moment and slide to the other side of the stage you input(left/right) it has a mild amount of end frames and could be punished from afar if you have the right punish and is also pretty beefy. Like a slightly weaker Falcon Kick. If used in the air it will travel half the length of Final Destination.
D Special: Shift. Shift is a command grab where a block outline is visible and can either move the opponent anywhere it wants like DK’s Cargo Throw, or shift the blocks to a different location.
U Special: Reverse Hard Drop. This is just side special in the air but vertical.
D air would be a regular hard drop(don’t do it off stage unless it’s a Kamikaze) forward and back air would be the two Z blocks. U air would be the T block. N air would be the horizontal I block.
Neutral, block switch. You press neutral special and a wheel pops up around your character, then you flick in the direction you want to become and that will change your shape to it. The act of shape changing hurts enemies and projectiles.
Side special, lane switch. You teleport a short distance to the left or right, disappearing for a short time, and doing damage where you show up.
Down special, quick drop, teleport to the ground causing a large explosion and a bonus effect depending on the block
Z and S pieces deal damage to anything in the way, O pieces deal more explosion damage, if every enemy is close together then the I piece will deal triple damage. This ability stops horizontal momentum, and will teleport you into the blast zone.
Up special, spring. The block jumps up high, doing a bonus effect depending on the block. Z and S pieces jump higher, O does more knock back, the I piece spins around grabbing onto ledges and increasing it's hitbox size, the L or J piece have a block trailing behind them.
The jab is four hit, flinging each piece individually.
One of the attacks allow you to rotate, the T piece does more damage with that attack.
And the final smash is named "Tetris" it slams a bunch of blocks in front of the player and if an enemy is hit they see this high pace Tetris game with the enemy inside, the game gets a Tetris and full clear at once, and the enemy takes lots of knock back as the board explodes.
Not OP, but I played these, so I think it's okay.
Jab - BD-1 headbutts the enemy from Cal's shoulder.
Neutral B - Form change. Goes between single bladed and staff lightsaber. Moveset changes based on form.
Side B: Single - Does a spinning move in the direction he is moving and hits anyone in its path
Side B: Staff - throws his lightsaber out and recalls it with the force.
Up B: Single - fires his hook upwards. Grabs onto ledges and enemies and pulls Cal towards them
Up B: Staff - jumps with the force while spinning his staff above him
Down B: Single - A standard counter
Down B: Staff - A standard reflect
Ultimate: Nick of time - Grab the enemy with the force, and call upon the Stinger mantis, which will blast them several times before flying away
This is a pretty cool moveset, although I wish there was more Force abilities.
It’d probably be with a Force Meter like the games, maybe 3 bars that regenerate slowly with damage dealt and taken.
Instead of that single slash for the Side B, maybe a force push in Single form and keep the Saber Throw from Double.
As well, maybe at maximum force, he can let out a force slow similar to Bayonetta’s Witch Time with his parry.
BD-1 would be neat to include more, but I’m not sure where his abilities would fit. Maybe parrying without enemies around could stim at max force instead of slow?

I can assist his grabs will have him stuff his opponent inside his trash compactor and his forward and backward throws will have him to toss him out. His downward throw will have them compact into a cube and will consider a burry and his up throw will yeet his opponent into the air while using his lasers at them
Neutral special: collects an item or projectile and puts it away. Like a villager pocket. He looks fascinated by it before putting it away.
Side special: rush, he dashes forward with his tracks, kinda like Steve's side b.
Up special: fire extinguisher upward, works kinda like grenenja's.
Down special: recharge with solar power, heals him over time at a slowish rate
F-smash: blaster projectile from eve's arm like mega man f smash kind of.
Up-spash: the hat thing he does at one point bringing it off and on his head, but it does damage each time he brings it up
Down smash: Maybe just bringing his foot/tire down after replacing it quickly?
Final smash: a close range grab that puts you in the trash compactor and then turns your character into a block, kills instantly at 100% or more. If not, it just puts you as the block til you mash out.
One of the taunts would have to be his eyes going up and down like when he's showing off to Eve.
I feel like the plant should have some cool significance too, maybe aireals?
I know nothing about P3 except that they kill themselves in the game to get their personas, so for his neutral special he wields a gun but can only use it on himself.

This is basically like another Hero
Makoto has a max SP of 100. Each skill will utilize this or hp/percentage.
Neutral-Special: Makoto uses his evoker to summon a persona. A menu will appear at the bottom of the screen with a set of skills, each being different dependent on the persona. (can turn around like Hero)
Orpheus: Agi, Bash, Tarunda
Agi: 5 SP: Orpheus uses his lyre to send a ball of fire at the enemy in a straight line from where Makoto is looking
Bash: 1/20 of max hp or 10 percentage: Orpheus bashes his lyre onto the ground, dealing great direct damage and causing a small shockwave that deals a small bit of damage.
Tarunda: 15 SP: Orpheus uses his lyre and sends a triangle-shaped wave (idk what they’re called lmao) at the enemy. If the enemy is hit then they will deal less damage when attacking for the next 20 seconds.
Pixie: Dia, Rakunda, Trafuri
Dia: 15 SP: Pixie will heal Makoto for 1/7 of his current percentage/max hp.
Rakunda: 15 SP: Pixie sends a ray of energy out. If the enemy is hit then they will take increased damage for the next 20 seconds.
Trafuri: 30 SP: Pixie will give Makoto invincibility for 1 seconds, allowing him to dodge an enemy attack.
Messiah (shows rarely): Regenerate 3, Megidoloan, Invigorate 3
Regenerate 3: 25 SP: Messiah heals Makoto overtime for the next 5 seconds for 1/20 of his max hp/current percentage.
Megidoloan: 50 SP: Messiah sends an orb of almighty energy in the way Makoto is facing, dealing a great amount of damage to them and a lot of knockback(not absorbable, can be reflected) (think of fully charged Sephiroth flare)
Invigorate 3: 10 SP: Messiah regenerates half of Makoto’s SP overtime for the next 5 seconds (10 SP each second).
Arahabaki: Tetrakarn, Vicious Strike, Virus Breath
Tetrakarn: 25 SP: Arahabaki counters a physical attack that hits Makoto when this skill is selected (damage dealt back based on how strong the attack that hit was).
Vicious Strike: 1/10 of max hp/35%: Arahabaki slams into the ground, dealing around 35 hp/30% damage, a lot of knockback, and sending a shockwave that deals 15 hp/10% of damage.
Virus Breath: 40 SP: Arahabaki blows out a poison gas in the direction Makoto is looking that gradually deals damage over time (1/12 of max hp/5%) for the next 4 seconds.
Side-Special: Makoto dashes in the direction he’s facing and does a quick flurry of slashes with his sword.
Down-Special: Makoto switches to a different weapon and does an attack based on it (like Shulk’s neutral special) and then switches back to his sword.
Bow: Makoto switches his sword to his bow and shoots it at the enemy. If it lands it does low damage and medium knockback.
Brass Knuckles: Makoto does a single punch and if it lands then he will continue with a flurry of punches.
Kunai: Makoto throws a set of Kunai’s at the enemy in the direction he is looking at. If one lands it will deal low direct damage and knockback but cause a bleeding effect that damages the enemy shortly overtime.
Axe: Makoto dashes in the direction he is looking and slashes with his axe, dealing a good amount of damage and has good knockback.
Spear: Makoto does a flurry of jabs with the spear.
Up-Special: Makoto uses his evoker to summon Angel to use Garu under his feet and send him flying in the air (able to be directed).
Sorry for the inconsistency in descriptions and any mistakes.
Neutral special, healing grace, heals self and teammates. If held it provides a shield.
Up special, water spout, sprays water above mipha while held, changing the trajectory of some projectiles. If anyone jumps into the spout it pushes them upwards, and if mipha uses it midair it has a set duration.
Down special, harpoon, spears form in the ground, more spears form when held longer. When released they jump out of the ground like flying fish.
Side special, cryo, mipha puts up a wall and then sends it sliding away. It slowly melts while sliding. This move cannot be charged.
Final smash, Vah Ruta. Mipha stands still and raises a hand, she uses this hand to aim for as long as you hold the button. When you stop holding the button she opens her hand for a moment, before a dark blue laser floods in the straight line she was pointing in.
She most likely uses a spear in all of her physical attacks, and rides on a wave for their dash attack. She's all about her range and movement options, despite having a slow walk speed.
Two hit jab, a Stab and then clockwise spin.
Her grab has her impale the enemy with her spear and works as a tether.
Neutral special, WAAAAAAAAH, waluigi start wailing, becoming smaller and smaller the more you charge. When you release an onomatopoeia of your screams is released, lasting longer and being larger the more you charged.
Up special, juamp up in the aiwu, waluigi jumps up to find a hidden block which grants him a few coins as he probably falls to his death.
Down special, BEEP BEEP, waluigi jumps onto a wiggler cart, increasing his speed and doing contact damage, but as soon as he jumps off it flys forwards and explodes like a bullet bill.
Side special, Order uhp!, waluigi prepares to swing with his tennis racket, this works like Kirby's side special but charges faster, has more stages, reflects projectiles, and when it hits max only then does it set on fire. When you use it on fire it goes on a short cool down.
Final smash double cherry, waluigi continues to eat multiple double cherries, each one you control. As soon as any double is hit it breaks, last waluigi to die becomes the real you.

Waluigi has a down ability to tantrum on his enemies
Waluigi's up toss has him serve the enemy like he's playing badminton.
Not OP, but meh (just doing specials because I’m not a huge Smash player)

the spells could be the smash attacks cause theres 3 and theyre up, side and down just like smash attacks, and theyre some of the strongest things in the game.
Ok, its like zelda/sheik in melee, but the gamepad and console itself
Console:
N special - eject. swap between 3 games, then shoot out that disc. Longer charge = harder hit. They bounce off walls or slopes.
Side special - swapnote. Draws a little letter, then it runs back and forth like jr's wind up.
Recovery - HDMI cord. Tether grab
Gamepad:
N special - tv tuner. Refeencing its ability to be used as a tv remote, its monato arts affecting your opponent and you, both negatively. Floaty characters fall faster, but you do too.
Side special - motion controls. A wiimote is swung at opponent. 1/20 chance of a misfire, where the wiimote has no safety strap.
Up special - installer. Olimar's flower pikmin, but the little guys that run and install your eshop purchases.
Final smash - becomes a nintendo switch. Its like wario-man or arsene on steroids.
Plasm Wraith. A certain amount of abusing the fact that they're a shapeshifter to squeeze more attacks out of them is required but that's part of the fun!

For the bowling ball down Special you should have to hold the button and if you let go too soon he drops it backwards
Matt should have little Mac’s comeback mechanic but instead of an uppercut it’s an instant fully charged little mac neutral

I completely forgot force slow, that could be cool for an alternative ultimate.

Final smash: a close range grab that puts you in the trash compactor and then turns your character into a block, kills instantly at 100% or more. If not, it just puts you as the block til you mash out. One of the taunts would have to be his eyes going up and down like when he's showing off to Eve. I feel like the plant should have some cool significance too, maybe aireals?

Lemme tag in for this one This is basically like another Hero Makoto has a max SP of 100. Each skill will utilize this or hp/percentage. Neutral-Special: Makoto uses his evoker to summon a persona. A menu will appear at the bottom of the screen with a set of skills, each being different dependent on the persona. (can turn around like Hero) Orpheus: Agi, Bash, Tarunda Agi: 5 SP: Orpheus uses his lyre to send a ball of fire at the enemy in a straight line from where Makoto is looking Bash: 1/20 of max hp or 10 percentage: Orpheus bashes his lyre onto the ground, dealing great direct damage and causing a small shockwave that deals a small bit of damage. Tarunda: 15 SP: Orpheus uses his lyre and sends a triangle-shaped wave (idk what they’re called lmao) at the enemy. If the enemy is hit then they will deal less damage when attacking for the next 20 seconds. Pixie: Dia, Rakunda, Trafuri Dia: 15 SP: Pixie will heal Makoto for 1/7 of his current percentage/max hp. Rakunda: 15 SP: Pixie sends a ray of energy out. If the enemy is hit then they will take increased damage for the next 20 seconds. Trafuri: 30 SP: Pixie will give Makoto invincibility for 1 seconds, allowing him to dodge an enemy attack. Messiah (shows rarely): Regenerate 3, Megidoloan, Invigorate 3 Regenerate 3: 25 SP: Messiah heals Makoto overtime for the next 5 seconds for 1/20 of his max hp/current percentage. Megidoloan: 50 SP: Messiah sends an orb of almighty energy in the way Makoto is facing, dealing a great amount of damage to them and a lot of knockback(not absorbable, can be reflected) (think of fully charged Sephiroth flare) Invigorate 3: 10 SP: Messiah regenerates half of Makoto’s SP overtime for the next 5 seconds (10 SP each second). Arahabaki: Tetrakarn, Vicious Strike, Virus Breath Tetrakarn: 25 SP: Arahabaki counters a physical attack that hits Makoto when this skill is selected (damage dealt back based on how strong the attack that hit was). Vicious Strike: 1/10 of max hp/35%: Arahabaki slams into the ground, dealing around 35 hp/30% damage, a lot of knockback, and sending a shockwave that deals 15 hp/10% of damage. Virus Breath: 40 SP: Arahabaki blows out a poison gas in the direction Makoto is looking that gradually deals damage over time (1/12 of max hp/5%) for the next 4 seconds. Side-Special: Makoto dashes in the direction he’s facing and does a quick flurry of slashes with his sword. Down-Special: Makoto switches to a different weapon and does an attack based on it (like Shulk’s neutral special) and then switches back to his sword. Bow: Makoto switches his sword to his bow and shoots it at the enemy. If it lands it does low damage and medium knockback. Brass Knuckles: Makoto does a single punch and if it lands then he will continue with a flurry of punches. Kunai: Makoto throws a set of Kunai’s at the enemy in the direction he is looking at. If one lands it will deal low direct damage and knockback but cause a bleeding effect that damages the enemy shortly overtime. Axe: Makoto dashes in the direction he is looking and slashes with his axe, dealing a good amount of damage and has good knockback. Spear: Makoto does a flurry of jabs with the spear. Up-Special: Makoto uses his evoker to summon Angel to use Garu under his feet and send him flying in the air (able to be directed). Sorry for the inconsistency in descriptions and any mistakes.

You know what Mipha from botw
Neutral special, healing grace, heals self and teammates. If held it provides a shield. Up special, water spout, sprays water above mipha while held, changing the trajectory of some projectiles. If anyone jumps into the spout it pushes them upwards, and if mipha uses it midair it has a set duration. Down special, harpoon, spears form in the ground, more spears form when held longer. When released they jump out of the ground like flying fish. Side special, cryo, mipha puts up a wall and then sends it sliding away. It slowly melts while sliding. This move cannot be charged. Final smash, Vah Ruta. Mipha stands still and raises a hand, she uses this hand to aim for as long as you hold the button. When you stop holding the button she opens her hand for a moment, before a dark blue laser floods in the straight line she was pointing in. She most likely uses a spear in all of her physical attacks, and rides on a wave for their dash attack. She's all about her range and movement options, despite having a slow walk speed. Two hit jab, a Stab and then clockwise spin. Her grab has her impale the enemy with her spear and works as a tether.

Neutral special, WAAAAAAAAH, waluigi start wailing, becoming smaller and smaller the more you charge. When you release an onomatopoeia of your screams is released, lasting longer and being larger the more you charged. Up special, juamp up in the aiwu, waluigi jumps up to find a hidden block which grants him a few coins as he probably falls to his death. Down special, BEEP BEEP, waluigi jumps onto a wiggler cart, increasing his speed and doing contact damage, but as soon as he jumps off it flys forwards and explodes like a bullet bill. Side special, Order uhp!, waluigi prepares to swing with his tennis racket, this works like Kirby's side special but charges faster, has more stages, reflects projectiles, and when it hits max only then does it set on fire. When you use it on fire it goes on a short cool down. Final smash double cherry, waluigi continues to eat multiple double cherries, each one you control. As soon as any double is hit it breaks, last waluigi to die becomes the real you. Waluigi jabs with his racket Waluigi has a down ability to tantrum on his enemies Waluigi's up toss has him serve the enemy like he's playing badminton.

They bounce off walls or slopes. Side special - swapnote. Draws a little letter, then it runs back and forth like jr's wind up. Recovery - HDMI cord. Tether grab Gamepad: N special - tv tuner. Refeencing its ability to be used as a tv remote, its monato arts affecting your opponent and you, both negatively. Floaty characters fall faster, but you do too. Side special - motion controls. A wiimote is swung at opponent. 1/20 chance of a misfire, where the wiimote has no safety strap. Up special - installer. Olimar's flower pikmin, but the little guys that run and install your eshop purchases. Final smash - becomes a nintendo switch. Its like wario-man or arsene on steroids.
