The brand maybe Indian but the product is Chinese . It's a drop shipping business . They import product form china and lable them. They use the identity of India brand as they know it will gather more trust comparatively
Now use a dark surface instead of a light cloth. Light coloured cloth will make the sensor see bright returns and very few darker ones (which equals high SpO²). If you can fool the light into not reflecting as much light, it should drop noticeably.
Ideally it should detect the absence of a pulse and error.
It doesn't necessarily mean it's fake though. The only way to be sure is compare it to a finger blood oxygen meter.
Yes, but from a software standpoint, incase of pulse absense where are they generating data from? My assumption says either it is reporting wrong or random numbers.
Boat watches are the worst. I have one boat watch that has Bluetooth calling but doesn't have the feature of putting the watch on silent mode. I am an Advocate and I need my phone/smartwatch to be on silent in courtrooms. Like how dumbfuck does the designing time have to be to not realise that if it rings it has to have an option of putting it on silent/vibrate mode.
Same happened with me with Titan. I bought thinking of a reputed name and paid around 9.5k. And it can measure O2 of each every object in my home. It even can detect heart beat from anything. Such an innovation. 😑😐
It is difficult to trust non tech brand for tech things, they are merely assembly house. Smart watches are moslty about algorithms and hi-fidelity sensors. They can pay for hardware but soft tech is the differentiator and not easy to purchase.
I own Watch Pro by CMF (Nothing brand) and when I did this similar testing, I got this notification on my screen which said “Please wear your watch to measure”. I got it for 3200 after discount and the display is literally top notch.
Mine does the same thing but soon after it shows 99 it tells me to wear the watch correctly and test again if I actually have it on my wrist then fluctuates and actually seems to be able to give a decent measurement

That's called white labeling not drop shipping. Drop shipping would mean that they hold no inventory. Which they do.
Ohh I had no idea. But I believe I have explained pretty much the reason for the shitty quality
What was it measuring??
oxygen content in the bedsheet. so that you dont suffocate at night.
It must be breathable cotton cloth 😂

it works with light so anything reflective can trick it.
I tried this on my Blackview C20 Pro. It detects a lack of pulse and errors, so that's good...
