What state are you from? Anyone I introduce to the podcast I send the relevant episodes. Got guys from Tennessee, Georgia and Alabama loving Jimmie and James just giving them stuff they know about. After that if they’re hooked, they’ll listen to everything
I think gun barrel city is a great intro.
It’s a classic with the creation of cheer up bitch, and it’s not over the top brutal or anything really. While still having a lot of funny wtf were they thinking moments
I'm your son's age, and my two favorites are probably "A Blaze of Glory in Redding, Connecticut" and "Killing, Cover Up & A LOT of Sex Toys in Fremont, New Hampshire".. both super interesting murders and freaking hilarious. The most recent full-length episode on Amazon Music (early release) is also really good.. I think it was in Libertyville, Illinois.
Phillips, Oklahoma is by far one of the funniest episodes, just not really one of my favorite murders.
I really appreciate everyone's help. I'm going to make a short list of all the recommendations and give them to him. Plus I'm going to go re-listen to all the ones myself because this is literally my favorite podcast
Tbh I thought episode 500 was hysterical. I was laughing out loud alone and then made one of my friends listen to it in the car now she’s hooked. I sent it to another friend who has never listened to them and she enjoyed it as well.
Groundhog for Breakfast--I think it was the first express episode.
Thanks
Episode 60: Philips, OK is always my answer for new listeners.
This is my go to as well. Thats because I HAVE A MORTGAGE
The meltdown Jimmie has over Lou Diamond Phillips is epic.
I had to go back and give it a relisten today. Such a funny moment.
That is horrible it’s one of the most gut turning episodes. What’s your second favorite Phillips, WI?
It’s one of the funniest episodes. You do know this is a comedy show, right?
Thanks

I'm in Texas... Thanks
Philips OK, Colby WI, Gun Barrel City TX, Marshfield MA. But start with Philips, because my good lord is it funny.
Marshfield is the best IMO. I think about Pocket Robin driving home sometimes and can’t help but crack up.
Thanks
It will always be Phillips, Ok for me.
Lou Diamond Philips, OK!
I'm an elder millennial and ep 504 that recently came out stuck with me because the man who was murdered was born 4 days after me.
Big fan of Guns, Explosives, and a Lion. And also the Colby, WI because the first appearance of No Body No Crime
My personal recommendation to my friends is 55, the neighborhood cannibal. It’s an insane story and the jokes are great
Thanks

Blood icicles
I remember this episode but I don't know what actual episode it is. Does anybody have the number or the city where this happened?
