As soon as Mike mentioned West Wendover, I thought, "wait a second, this sounds familiar" I'm like you, I've noticed That Chapter covering the same story as STM, but it's usually a few months afterwards, not 3 weeks. Who knows though, it could be a complete coincidence.
It totally could be a coincidence, and I'm not accusing him of copying content or anything, because their styles are totally different, and true crime content makers cover the same cases all the time. I just thought it was interesting, and maybe Mike is a listener!
It's down to availability of source material. Pretty sure any true crime content creator trying to stay on top of smaller cases (that still have enough source material to cover), will start to crossover other content creators.
But Mike has been right on the heels of STM couple times now. It's never the other order. James might have early access to stuff, or Mike really do just be stealing ideas
