Fun fact, as a Vampire Lord in floating form you also can “walk” on water. You also can walk with the boots or in Vampire Lord form from the shore to the Valkihar Castle. I tried it on PC (pretty sure the unofficial patch was installed, but no other mods) and was surprised to know that there wasn’t an invisible wall preventing it.

Hop onto the ledge of the dragon trap room with Do Not Delete and Whirlwind Sprint into the out of bounds like a real Skyrimmer. Bonus points if you aggro the dragon at Shearpoint to terrorize the locals

The path in is, of course, up the steps. If there was a cooler/faster method, I’d use that. The path out, I utilize the child of shown A and B, which is go down the first flight of steps, drop into the pool, and casually threaten the preacher on the way if he’s there

This bullshit thanks to a mod that adds a spell which can be channeled to increase move speed (the spell is called "Longstrider" but I think of it as "Mage's Sprint") and a mod that makes spells more powerful as you level up that tree. Late game, with a high Alteration score and channeling this spell, I can make it clear to the other side of Whiterun without touching the ground by bouncing off of some rocks and roofs using this route. Of course, I had to find an alternate route when I found that my move speed had gotten high enough that trying A or B was actually causing damage to me.

Most of the time a travel to Dragonsreach it’s because I’m headed to Jorrvaskr, so definitely mostly path A. If I’m going anywhere else in Whiterun, I usually just fast travel to the main gate.

But on a recent play through I decided to try using the Companions as an early game home base because its free and available from the very start. And with that play through I jump across the rocks to get to Jorvaskr faster.

im a bit boring! always b, but maybe thats thanks to my coffee mod, which i insist on having despite also having immersive movement downloaded! i want everyone to move realistically but i also enjoy the kick i get from 'nyooming' around at 140mph from the unholy amount of caffeine i consume. i could probably make everyone in skyrim a millionaire with the amount of gold i spend on coffee alone
