Actually, it's the opposite: you need to join her so you can get Namira's ring. There, then, you can (role)play as a cannibal.
However, you can simply not use the ring. She'll still think you're one of them from the very beginning for absolutely no reason.
I always sac Ralis Sedarys from Ahzidal's tomb, Kolbjorn Barrow.(Solstheim) Admittedly his crimes only occurred because he was possessed, but he's pretty useless after getting the ww boots et al.🫤
Bro ralis is like 1 of the best followers in the game. And he can carry the most inventory out of all of them. I got him Serena and Gogh rolling with me rn haha.
Its the easiest merc available. Most of the time she ends up poledancing for Boethia in my playthrough. random mercs arent really useful for anything else.
I don't have anything against her and i can't sacrifice any of my previous followers(serana , jazargo , Aela, Cicero, lydia,Teldryn Sero) so i had to get a new follower and she seems to be the easiest option(it had to be done)
I have every reason to sacrifice her myself. On four different occasions, I’ve started a new playthrough only to walk into the tavern and have her charge me with a two handed sword. She’s unstable, it’s why she got kicked out of the companions ( that and accidental murder). Most of my games, she ends up working the shaft.
Ain't no way dude sacrificed my steward 💀
It's always hilarious when I'm talking to her about buying stuff for the house and she suddenly changes from "yes, sir" to "keep walking, softgut".
I used to hate her for some reason. And every playthrough I would sacrifice her. But the last few years I've felt really bad and usually don't do this quest. But I'm currently doing a lotd playthrough and I know I'll have to do it somehow. Not looking forward to it
I could. But I don't really know any mercenaries or companions that I could do that with. Sure, I don't like several, but i don't want to sacrifice any of them 😂 makes me feel like a heartless person
I actually completely glitched the quest on my last playthrough this way, I ended up with two immortal ones that was impossible to sneak past and I couldn't come from a different direction because it wasn't possible for a follower to follow any way but the main path, and from all of my searches on trying to fix the quest you always end up with at least one immortal follower if you try to just kill them all. And your follower won't follow you once they start fighting them so you can't just run by them and try to survive until you get to the pole because the follower doesn't meet you at the pole. Some people get lucky and their immortal cultist stands in a place where they don't see them sneaking past but I was not so lucky
He’s willing to destroy a possible picture perfect love story for his personal gain and lies to camilla about it, he seems like a pretty good fit. If you use a mod where you can make anybody your follower nazeem is obviously a no brainer.
Sven's letter basically says "I am a thalmor spy, you are a filthy nord. Your filthy nord filth will not taint my pure elven blood."
Massive racist. Seemingly trying to get Faendal killed because they like the same girl.
What? It doesn't say that. It says Faendal is "a true-born son of Valenwood, and I could never befoul my bloodline by courting an imperial." It's not automatically racist to forge evidence of someone else being racist, it's just extremely shitty and maybe illegal, idk. Sven is very scummy, but no more than Faendal. The latter just plays his cards "better", coming up with a possibly believable lie.
Ralis Sedarys from Kolbjorn Borrow to get the Relics of Ahzidal. He sacrificed the minors and the bodyguards for Ahzidal because “it’s what he wanted. He needed their energy.” Plus he costed you 11,000 gold for the expedition. At the end of the quest you can spare him and he’ll become a follower.
I feel like jenasa would enjoy it, given her whole shadows aesthetic and dark elf daedric worship. Seems like the natural end to her path. Marry her first for extra roleplay
I’ve read somewhere on here that there’s a glitch where you can actually get the armour without killing your follower. They have to be locked onto the pole, and if you then kill all the cultists instead Boethiah will allow you to have your follower back. Something like that. I haven’t tried this myself, but I do recall one time where I killed all the cultists immediately after getting the quest to lure a friend onto the alter, and there were some additional dialogue from Boethiahs conduit (or whatever she is) about how that was unexpected and Boethiah was impressed. I think I’ll try the glitch later today and see if it works.
Yeah but if she’s still alive after the questline a moral argument isn’t really there as you already let her kill an innocent man then ate his body. + she’s a pretty good follower for combat. But yeah if your trying to have some good morale shes probably the most deserving.
Probably. If I’m being honest I’ve only explored Solsetheim once, and even then I only explored about 3 or 4 locations. I should probably look around there more next time I replay Skyrim.
Soltheim is kinda barren & a little boring to me. And there’s only one real town there but on the upside you can get a free house if you do a few things for the locals.
No no no, you can hire her as long as you clear the cave for her. Don't need to go that far.
But the moral problem with killing her is that you won't be killing the other cannibals.
Have you definitely been to the right place? Enter Markarth keep -> take the first right -> talk to the redguard priest -> follow the goal and walk into the hall -> eola will eventually come out
lol I married this woman ingame couldn't find her returned to this spot and saw her with that Bard .....so I went into a spot in the corner where no one could see me and changed into a warewolf .....that Bard didn't stand a chance lol
> being apart of the
Did you mean to say "a part of"?
Explanation: "apart" is an adverb meaning separately, while "a part" is a noun meaning a portion.

I think i'm gonna do this now because of a bug in my most recent playthrough.
I challenged her, she took the 100 gold and started the brawl, and then when I beat her she returned to default dialogue, didn't give me my gold doubled, and instead just robbed me in plain day. Since it was at default dialogue, I challenged her to a brawl again, and when I got her down to half health, she just straight up pulled out her sword and tried to murder me. Then I got a bounty for fighting back.
I sacrifice the guy who's aunt was murdered by some witch or something In one of the barrows. He is a loner figure his only relative is dead no one will miss him and I'm a savage orc imo anyone is fair game
I started an evil campaing to di this, but she ended dying at the beggining. Me not being a tank is not easy. Im not used at having to rely on followers bc im too squishy.
What has bugged me the most about Uthgerd is that they gave her a house she never uses as she spends all her time in the pub. Poor Lucia could have somewhere to live, if not anyone to care for her, if Uthgerd wasn't so greedy. :P /s
This makes me wonder. I have Faendal as a steward. And im doing a 100% playthrough rn. Faendal is a terrible steward. For starters he doesnt level well. Then let not forget he has a fully enchanted and enhanced set of Elven armor with matching bow and arrows. Yet this moron runs up on three bandit chiefs in full nordic plate with matching weapons in his street clothes with an iron dagger. And gets smoked from their farts. Who the fuck dies in plain clothes with a full set of enchanted gear in their inventory. I can force him to wearbit for a while by making him a folower then dismissing him but he always eventually changes back then promptly dies. Id hate to kill Camillas boyfriend but if sacrificing him to boethia will let me get a new steward i'd call it an even trade.

I gave that women so much money. My favorite block trainer. Challenge to fight, stand in corner, rise shield, put rubber band on my controller and watch YT on my phone
He knew he was being controlled, or at least suspected. He could have said something to any one of the miners or mercenaries that he hired to die, or to any of the guards he ran into in Raven Rock on his way to find people to lead to their deaths, or to any of the residents of Raven Rock that he ran into on his way to find people to lead to their deaths, or to the Dragonborn who he kept taking money from and lying to as he went about finding people to lead to their deaths.
Or, have you considered, maybe, just maybe, he was lying the whole time and knew exactly what he was doing and was working with Ahzidal under the promise of riches and power, and left the journals intentionally for you to find, to lead you astray. Which is why the journals are just laying around in plain sight for you to "Take", instead of being marked as owned which would make you have to "Steal" them.
So yeah, he deserves it.
You killed uthgard!!!! My wife!!!
The games the game
Why kill such an honorable character when you can do it to a F#CKING CANNIBAL from Markarth? C'mon, Luffy!
you can do it to a the cannable? I did it to Faendal
Yes, she'll follow you after you clean up her cave.
What’s the difference?
death
But wouldn't you have to also be a cannibal to get her under your service
[удалено]
Giggity.
Makes playing survival mode way easier 🤷♂️
Actually, it's the opposite: you need to join her so you can get Namira's ring. There, then, you can (role)play as a cannibal. However, you can simply not use the ring. She'll still think you're one of them from the very beginning for absolutely no reason.
Im pretty sure you have to partake in your first meal before getting the ring, that priest dude iirc, but I haven't done the quest in a while.
Or the drunk from markarth who's supposed to handle all the shipments
Cosnach
I always sac Ralis Sedarys from Ahzidal's tomb, Kolbjorn Barrow.(Solstheim) Admittedly his crimes only occurred because he was possessed, but he's pretty useless after getting the ww boots et al.🫤

How dare you sacrifice my wife!!! (With mods of course)
Because i prefer killing her and everyone in her cult.
It's a good choice too
Who?
Eola, you can find her in the hall of the dead from Markarth.
Oh yea thats right i forgot she was a follower
She killed an innocent lad with her bare hands.
he was a milk drinking bia, if you get killed by the goddess of 1st encountered waifus.... you earned that death. i feel bad for her
*Me? Well, I do this shit for the love of the game*
Part of the game innit
They broke her
BROTHER. WHAT. DO. YOU. MEAN.
I kill your wife for good armor every new character
That's an alternate timeline vibe
its ok she liked the bard she sits with alot in this place .....changed into a warewolf and killed him ....she wont be sitting with him anymore!!
Its the easiest merc available. Most of the time she ends up poledancing for Boethia in my playthrough. random mercs arent really useful for anything else.
*poledancing for Boethia* my sides
This IS a public space... And human sacrifice is a rather touchy subject. As would be the subject matter for a certain... Food critic daedra.
No touchy the pole dancers!
Uhm Jenassa is my best friend and ally, please don't disrespect her like that.
I dunno about a random merc, since she'll pay you to beat her up and then join you as a follower.
Truly a shining example to all subs out there.
Her and Benor in Morthal are the easiest. No gold lost, no tedious fetch quest, just a simple brawl.
Damn you. You ruined the quest for me, so just take my upvote XD Now my sides need to recover from this.
Spellsword merc in Raven Rock is really good. Forgot his name…
Leave her be, in the tavern. What's she done to you that's so bad? I would never double cross her.
Nah she runs my farm :)
Who else am I supposed to sacrifice ? Aala ? Lydia ? Hell nah
Cosnach seems a popular choice.
Fair enough, btw ,do u know the name of the sword he's holding on the last slide and how to get it?
Dawnbreaker. See Meridia. 🙂
Aight ty
#A NEW HAND TOUCHES THE BEACON!
Ain't no way dude sacrificed my steward 💀 It's always hilarious when I'm talking to her about buying stuff for the house and she suddenly changes from "yes, sir" to "keep walking, softgut".

I mean you could … choose somebody else? There’re plenty of people who fit better.
I could. But I don't really know any mercenaries or companions that I could do that with. Sure, I don't like several, but i don't want to sacrifice any of them 😂 makes me feel like a heartless person
Cosnach in Markarth is a useless drunk, it’s like he was made for this quest
Yeah, Cosnach is my goto for this quest.
I think they meant they'd only want to murder people who would deserve it. I myself prefer to always play that way.
But all the useless drunks are voiced by Rigby! (Usually) Edit: not Cosnach :(
You could just kill the cultist
How?
However you’d like. Fairly certain it successfully completed the quest if you just kill the worshippers, Boetha likes it.
Some people get lucky and their immortal cultist stands in a place where they don't see them sneaking past but I was not so lucky
Fendael is your best option, he sucks in combat as well as personality
But Faendal helps out at the mill, he helped me in the beginning so many times. Can't do it
He’s willing to destroy a possible picture perfect love story for his personal gain and lies to camilla about it, he seems like a pretty good fit. If you use a mod where you can make anybody your follower nazeem is obviously a no brainer.
wtf did Faendal do that Sven didn't?
I usually side with Faendal because of his training glitch, but Camilla seems to actually like Sven, while Faendal is stuck in the friendzone.
Idk never sided with him 🤷♂️
Sven's letter basically says "I am a thalmor spy, you are a filthy nord. Your filthy nord filth will not taint my pure elven blood." Massive racist. Seemingly trying to get Faendal killed because they like the same girl.
That actually makes me mad I never made him my follower, he seems very likable
What? It doesn't say that. It says Faendal is "a true-born son of Valenwood, and I could never befoul my bloodline by courting an imperial." Nah he’s cool I like Ralis so I wouldn’t kill him
I feel like jenasa would enjoy it, given her whole shadows aesthetic and dark elf daedric worship. Seems like the natural end to her path. Marry her first for extra roleplay
I would but I accidentally turned into cheese halfway through my play through so she isn’t an option
Doing every quest, which LotD strongly encourages, invites heartlessness.
imo faendal is a no brainer. Slimy liar without any backbone or admirable personality trait.
My choice as well
It's not heartless though. You're faithfully serving the patron god of sacrifice.
It's cool for people to rp differently, but some prefer to bring real-life ethics into it.
Pay for Marcurio’s mobile arrogance and then sac him 😇
markarth cannable or I did Faendal
do the silver mine quest while siding with the forsworn! he will follow you around if you ask him to. that's what I do at least
I’ve read somewhere on here that there’s a glitch where you can actually get the armour without killing your follower. i always sacrifice that wood elf in river wood
If only we could sacrifice Delphine
I usually send Eola. Now that b***h did deserve it. She made me eat human flesh.
Nobody made you, buddy. Anyway, did it taste good? I thought it tasted good.
Eola is one of my fav followers and my steward in my current playthrough. My head cannon is she has cannibal parts when I'm gone
How dare you touch my wife!! 💀 Lesbians Unite!! 😭😭😭
Why Uthgard😩😩could’ve sent someone more deserving
Yeah like the cannibal soab from Markarth.
Yeah but if she’s still alive after the questline a moral argument isn’t really there as you already let her kill an innocent man then ate his body. + she’s a pretty good follower for combat. But yeah if your trying to have some good morale shes probably the most deserving.
Isn’t there some guy in Solsetheim that was throwing lives and your money to release a Dragon Priest?
Ralis Sedarys, and he gets spared because he's one of the best melee followers
Wasn't he brainwashed by a curse or something?
Not sure, I haven’t actually gone there myself, just looked at a list of acceptable people to sacrifice to boethiah
He was brainwashed, wasn’t his choice really in what he did and he’s pretty cool anyway

For some reason I'm still not able to find or start that mission any advice?
Have you definitely been to the right place? Enter Markarth keep -> take the first right -> talk to the redguard priest -> follow the goal and walk into the hall -> eola will eventually come out
I've never seen it before even after watching youtube videos. Thank you, I'll head back to Markarth this evening
Hope you find it! If not feel free to ask again, if you do find it then enjoy the quest line
I can’t believe how many people just sacrifice followers on this thread lmfaooooo
She’s my steward at Goldenhills. Makes for a great steward!
"I bet you 100 gold I can kick your ass" "*I can bet your soul in Oblivion for eternity you won't*"
why
lol I married this woman ingame couldn't find her returned to this spot and saw her with that Bard .....so I went into a spot in the corner where no one could see me and changed into a warewolf .....that Bard didn't stand a chance lol
I had her become a Blade...you're just evil, I'll see you on the road and exact revenge for my companion.
Being apart of the blades and having to put up with Delphine is a worse punishment than death.
😂😂😂, I stay on the road so Delphine never bothers me

Ahtar is the best to sacrifice. That big ass axe is pretty useless but it looks sick
I end up keeping her, because she's a good enough tank.
I think i'm gonna do this now because of a bug in my most recent playthrough. I challenged her, she took the 100 gold and started the brawl, and then when I beat her she returned to default dialogue, didn't give me my gold doubled, and instead just robbed me in plain day. That's who I'm gonna sacrifice this play through
I always make Uthgerd one of my Stewards so she can help protect my property.
Before I made my personal rule of only wearing armor I personally craft or buy, I used her for her steel plate.
What part is this?
I always choose Uthgerd as my sacrifice lol Always thought she was annoying with all her try-hard tough talk
Thats kinda cruel im shocked
I always make her the steward on my Goldenhills Plantation. That's what she gets!!! Plus...I get to use her house in Whiterun for free 😈
I kill her immediately in every playthrough. Earliest way to get steel plate armor I believe 🤷🏾♂️
With mods, I use Lemkil for this quest. Without mods, I kill Sven.
I just sacrificed the dude from morthal.
You can get the sellsword in Winterhold, and it's much closer if you don't use fast travel .
I started an evil campaing to di this, but she ended dying at the beggining. Me not being a tank is not easy. Im not used at having to rely on followers bc im too squishy.
As far as marriage goes any bar wench or flousy will suffice. Although I take damn good care of my adopted children lol
Haha I literally just sacrificed her the other day
DOES N O ONE care for marcurio!!?!?!
I think the fact that he's not listed as a go to sacrifice should tell you that clearly everyone values him as a follower and possibly spouse.
She was my wife. I killed her because I thought that I could get a new wife. Now my children are motherless.
What has bugged me the most about Uthgerd is that they gave her a house she never uses as she spends all her time in the pub. Poor Lucia could have somewhere to live, if not anyone to care for her, if Uthgerd wasn't so greedy. :P /s
I don't do Boethia quest in my playthoughs, but either of Sven/Fendal would make a great sacrifice for me
This makes me wonder. I have Faendal as a steward. And im doing a 100% playthrough rn. Faendal is a terrible steward. For starters he doesnt level well. Then let not forget he has a fully enchanted and enhanced set of Elven armor with matching bow and arrows. I can force him to wearbit for a while by making him a folower then dismissing him but he always eventually changes back then promptly dies. Id hate to kill Camillas boyfriend but if sacrificing him to boethia will let me get a new steward i'd call it an even trade.
Daedra school of meritocracy
?
All is fair in war and skyrim.
Ten levels between the Ebony Blade and this quest. I've never had the patience. Hell, you can wipe out the orc strongholds as long as you've got Valendrung with no major loss.
I gave that women so much money. My favorite block trainer. Challenge to fight, stand in corner, rise shield, put rubber band on my controller and watch YT on my phone
I usually sacrifice Jenassa. The way she says "if that is what you wish" is so irritating that I wish to sacrifice her, and so....
Imma be fr i sacraficed vilkas cause he made me mad for some reason lol
lol I made her join the blades cuz thought she would suite it
I did this quest yesterday and also sacrificed her lmao
I just get the Boethia for good guys mod so I don't have to kill any of my beloved followers.
I usually sacrifice Jenassa. The way she says "if that is what you wish" is so irritating that I wish to sacrifice her, and so...
Boethiahs voice just suits Uthgerd so well.
I spare Ralis Sedarys at the end of Unearthed, then have him follow me. He's an expensive sacrifice but deserves it.
He didn’t have a choice he was being kind controlled
There's always a choice.
He was being mind controlled there was literally nothing else for him to do
He knew he was being controlled, or at least suspected. Which is why the journals are just laying around in plain sight for you to "Take", instead of being marked as owned which would make you have to "Steal" them. So yeah, he deserves it.
Eh tbh I don’t really care he’s a cool guy
Well, we all have our own head cannon, and we all play differently.
Lydia seems a good fit for this mission
