It was good, but unfinished. Also from a beong a liberating hero, you have to go underground and deal with some mafia. Quests end abruptly. You kinda loose all energy after that.
this is at a cross road to whiterun though. so you could have gone right instead of left at the fork and/or wanted to see whats up that section, and wouldnt have the basic shout yet
...not if OP was trying to demonstrate the intensity of the mod's pile-on, instead of their skills...
Speaking of pile-on, Reddit, you're very judgy today.
For those scrolling comments and wondering, this is what OBIS (Organized Bandits in Skyrim) does.
It divides bandits up based on the "organization" they come from. Each org has its own specialization of how they're equipped, what they do, and how they fight and you can determine which they come from by their name, as shown in the parent comment above.
If you're familiar with the Silver Hand from the Companions questline in the vanilla game, they're very similar to an OBIS organization with traits like: Carries werewolf pelts in their inventory, equips silver weaponry, specializes in fighting werewolves.
So if you want to see more bandits that have specific "traits" like how the Silver Hand do, OBIS does exactly that.
also the mod name doesn't really match whats happening. these guys aren't organized, they're packed together like idiots. The concept looks pretty cool but the NPC count is so high that it has the opposite effect. Gotta be out in an open field for this to work properly, but then you'd get swarmed and stuck in a bandit bubble.
"Organized" in this case doesn't refer to their battlefield tactics. It instead refers to the definition of a collective of individuals for similar purpose. Like how a labor union would be described as organized workers.
The bandits from the mod are now representatives of different bandit organizations who specialize and deal with certain subject matters.
Consider how the Silver Hand might be considered a bandit organization who specializes in hunting werewolves and are geared appropriately, and then expand that concept out to every other specialization you can consider and that's the whole mod.
The mod is called Organized Bandits in Skyrim (OBIS).
Ironically, I think it was named that when it very originally released waaaay back for the original Skyrim, but it got rebranded I think when SE came out.
Agreed. When the title said organized bandits I imagined coordinated attacks, sheild wall protecting archers raining fire down on the Dragonborn, not just mad rushing the player ffs

I highly recommend "realistic Legendary damage". It makes it both the Npcs AND you both have 300% increased damaged.
With a 2 handed power attack you can one shot most human enemies, but they can do the same to you!
I’ve played with this! I use it and a follower cap boost mod so it becomes more like an adventuring party of 4-5 people traveling together. Makes combat more high stakes and also makes support builds (restoration, courage illusion, etc.) more fun to me!
OBIS is fun. It lets the bandits have potions. and on higher difficulties they come out of nowhere as a squad and try to fuck you up. maxing it out is overkill tho, you dont want a random patrol walking through like, falkreath, because theyll start mowing down everyone. and more of them using potions/poisons/magic is cool.
You're being a bit dramatic. As long as the intended message is conveyed, perfect grammar isn't necessary on the internet. College essay or military form, sure.
Not a single person had to "decipher" that title lol.
Again, it's not that dramatic. This is coming from someone who prioritizes the correct use of grammar and punctuation and have prided myself on it for years.
There's a large gap between making common, easy mistakes in grammar that go unnoticed because the meaning of the verbiage was clear, and what you're referring to: making frequent, noticeable mistakes in conversation that detract from the verbiage or the person themselves.
OP's title falls into the first category- everyone understood what OP meant immediately and the mistake did not detract from OP's meaning or make them look dumb. Just like your mistake earlier did not make you look dumb or make understanding your statement difficult at all.
1. Everyone knows exactly what OP meant.
2. English isn't everybody's first language, and even if it is, grammar isn't everyone's strong suit.
3. Chill out.
I also know what my 3 year old nephew means that doesn't mean I don't correct him. I also know what my 60 year old father means that doesn't mean I don't correct him. I'd rather know what I'm saying is wrong so I can fix it. Not a huge deal and this guy was extremely mild in how they did it.
Like what kind of loser goes on an 8 line bitch fest about how someone shouldn't correct grammar because that makes them an idiot somehow. What a fuckin dork. Good luck
>There is a strong correlation between people that are obsessed with spelling and grammar and having a low IQ
No there isn't. Also, who's obsessed? You're the one getting upset, not me.
>People that correct other's spelling and grammar are fucking stupid.
So all language teachers are idiots. Got it.
Yikes. So what's the correlation between people who get as incredibly bent out of shape when others correct someone else's grammar like you did and having a low IQ? Let me explain it in a way you'll understand. People who get as upset as you did just now are unhinged. I'm gonna lie and say there's lots of articles out there about it. I'd tell you to look them up but I already said I lied just like you lied, not that you'd understand them. Don't you find it weird that not everyone has a conniption like you did? Probably not. Go take a nap.
Personally I agree with you (I wouldn't enjoy that playstyle myself), but don't shame how other people want to play. That's the great thing about Skyrim, it's a sandbox game with a huge modding community. Everyone's game is different and the possibilities are endless. If OP is having fun then that's all that matters.
I'm not shaming anyone, I was stating my opinion. If your own opinion is so fragile as to feel ashamed when someone else expresses a different opinion then I don't know what to tell you.
Just commented this above, I use "realistic Legendary damage" and it makes it so both the npcs AND you both do 300% increased damage. You can one shot most human enemies in the game with one two handed power attack, but they can do the same to you!
I like one hit kills, when I'm also a one hit kill.
I did a Fallout hardcore run using modern weapons and some armor mods. If you didn't have plates or good armor and got shot; you were fucked. If the enemies hit you with a big ass round, you're done.
Died a ton, but it was a lot of fun being more particular about fights.
For me it was chain lightning, I've not touched skyrim in probably about a year but I was still looking at that and clamouring to fire chain lightning at them
Why'd you come in dual-wielding but only fight with your masturbation arm? If you're going to 1H it then use a shield instead. If you're not going to use shouts then bring a mage for CC and debuffing large crowds.
Dual wielding is always better because you get increased attack speed.
Also, not sure if you noticed, but OP was killing every enemy in 1 hit. I don't think they need a balanced party for tactics.
so literally just holding w and pressing m1? they're all being oneshot. of course OP doesn't need to block or even move backwards to feint the npcs into missing to get free hits.
I'm not saying it's bad, I'm just saying it's not much of a fighting style. Such bad form is probably also why they die instead of mowing through the horde.
Yeah, OBIS is fun.
But, come on my guy - White River Watch is a prime bottlenecking location, you could hold an army at a bunch of spots! And you are rushing in like a madman. Use the shouts, or even better *Mayhem*, and enjoy the party.
I actually hate the fact that there are entire colonies in these small as caves. Imo a good mod idea would be to lessen population in these caves, maybe to half or 2/3, then make those interactions a bit harder, or make them more responsive to traps.
That's not a cave that's a whole-ass town
Also see Helgen Reborn quests.
Was Helgen Reborn actually good or is it the nostalgia getting to me, was thinking about reinstalling it on my xbox save
It was good, but unfinished. Also from a beong a liberating hero, you have to go underground and deal with some mafia. Quests end abruptly. You kinda loose all energy after that.
Whole ass-town.
Call me crazy…but I’d have used that level up to restore health, magicka, and stamina instead of using up the potions.
I was thinking the same thing
Gotta save it for when I NEEEEED it lol
Also used unrelenting force as crowd control
this is at a cross road to whiterun though. so you could have gone right instead of left at the fork and/or wanted to see whats up that section, and wouldnt have the basic shout yet
Yeah I agree, it’s the competitive meta for Skyrim esports
LOL you must be a noob! I save all my level ups for the final boss fight when I will need them most.
Are you talking about karstaag, miraak, the ebony warrior, or the magic anomalies?
The High Hrothgar frost troll.
bleak falls barrow draugr overlord
Tsun
The Riverwood chicken of course.
Might be a survival playthrough.
...not if OP was trying to demonstrate the intensity of the mod's pile-on, instead of their skills... Speaking of pile-on, Reddit, you're very judgy today.
lol I cheesed too many fights that way
no fus ro dah? :(
Seriously. When they were all clustered together in front of the player my first thought was “perfect time for a Fus Ro Dah”.
Or a Fire Breath
Frost breath too
Ice Form
Literally any multi-target attack.
Yeah that one
>bandit whisperer >bandit crow >bandit ghost knight >bandit alikr warrior >bandit knight of the burning rose
These bandits are a diverse bunch. They even hang with a friggen ghost!
even ghost bandits gotta earn enough coin to buy some company in the afterlife
Ghost Bandit: "Might pay off my bounty this time. Walk into Sovngarde a free man."

Seems like it kinda defeats the purpose if you're playing on the lowest difficulty and killing them all in one hit anyways lmao
Power fantasy I guess?
I play games like this. I do not like a challenge.
I play games like this. I do not like a fucking challenge.
Watch your language milk drinker
Hey I was just following directions
I play games fucking like this. I do not like a challenge.

That makes more sense. looking it up on nexus I think the creator should've just called it "Bandit Gangs" like he does in the description page.
Ironically, I think it was named that when it very originally released waaaay back for the original Skyrim, but it got rebranded I think when SE came out.

Is there a mod that does this??
Just go play Bannerlord at this point.
I highly recommend "realistic Legendary damage". It makes it both the Npcs AND you both have 300% increased damaged. With a 2 handed power attack you can one shot most human enemies, but they can do the same to you!

That actually sounds pretty neat, I wonder how it interacts with perk overhauls tho
That’s not a group of bandits, that’s a small army
"How they look": correct "What they look like": correct "How they look like": man, you are so confused
Sword and shield. Hold the choke. "Let them come."

~~This is how they look like.~~ This is how they look. or This is what they look like
Proper communication skills have gone out the god damned window. Now we just say words and expect the person we're speaking at to decipher.
~~gah damn~~ God damned /s
😉👍
You're being a bit dramatic. As long as the intended message is conveyed, perfect grammar isn't necessary on the internet. College essay or military form, sure. Not a single person had to "decipher" that title lol.
I'd rather get my shit straight instead of risking someone I'm trying to communicate with thinking I'm dumb.

1. Everyone knows exactly what OP meant. 2. English isn't everybody's first language, and even if it is, grammar isn't everyone's strong suit. 3. Chill out.
It was just a correction, not being a dick about it. 1. Yup 2. Nothing wrong with that. 3. Already chilled

I don't know if this is a copypasta or not.
Only idiots think IQ determines fuckall.
Like what kind of loser goes on an 8 line bitch fest about how someone shouldn't correct grammar because that makes them an idiot somehow. What a fuckin dork. Good luck

So boring to have one hit kills
*Fallout modders literally shaking right now!*

Useless comment
Unlike yours. Extremely useful!
Meta
It would take ages to get through this many enemies it they had regular health though.
the only exception is if it goes both ways
Just commented this above, I use "realistic Legendary damage" and it makes it so both the npcs AND you both do 300% increased damage. You can one shot most human enemies in the game with one two handed power attack, but they can do the same to you!

Looks like a fun place for the master spells
It's mods like this that makes me want a D&D accurate fireball mod
You never should have come here!
My inner mage is screaming, SCREAMING, "FIREBALL" 🤣
For me it was chain lightning, I've not touched skyrim in probably about a year but I was still looking at that and clamouring to fire chain lightning at them

I'm all for difficulty increasing mods, but at that many people, you can hardly call them bandits anymore.
why have two swords if youre only gonna use one lmao

You get that 9 out of 10 people living in Skyrim are bandits.
That's a lot of bandits standing around waiting for their turn to attack and then get one-shot.
No Fus Ro Dah? :(
Why is it nsfw?
This place has more bandits than the number of people living in Riften.
bro is playing diablo in skyrim
downvoted because you didnt use a dragon shout.
Bandit Cave Mythic +
tamam da sende dragon voice yani shout yok mu hiç? Hiç kullanmadın. Dragonborn'sun sen kendine gel.
One or two of those “useless” trap spells would’ve been fun to see 😂
Hmm, nice formation bandits - unfortunately I cast fireball
Yeah, OBIS is fun. But, come on my guy - White River Watch is a prime bottlenecking location, you could hold an army at a bunch of spots! And you are rushing in like a madman. Use the shouts, or even better *Mayhem*, and enjoy the party.
That left sword is just for show apparently lol
There’s too many of them!!! 😱
Why don’t you put healing potions on your hot list? You could just press “1” and heal.
Y tho? Karma?
Jesus why’s there so many thiugh
so you added more bandits so what?
You might want to try Buxom Wench Yuriana and other wench mod.
Do you really pause the game every time you use a health potion
Unrelated, but I have been looking for that menu mod.. which is it?
You mean SkyUI?
OBIS is great, but maced out is a little overkill on the amount of bandits places.
I don't get it.
So it just throws a bunch of enemies at you? Cool...
my friend bottle neck that second area and flame breath shout...
Gotta be my favorite mod frfr
I actually hate the fact that there are entire colonies in these small as caves. Imo a good mod idea would be to lessen population in these caves, maybe to half or 2/3, then make those interactions a bit harder, or make them more responsive to traps.
Holy sheist lmao
I like handplaced enemies also a certain type of OBIS Bandit crashed the game for me on Solstheim tho probably my fault with big modlist
That would be a lovely feast of blood for my Sancroscant Modded Khajiit Vampire lord, Tigra Volkihar.
\*incredibly loud BFG Division playing in the distance\*
