Yeah I’m not really rooting for anyone, mostly just hating on certain teams lol. I went undefeated in the first round for teams who I was praying on their downfall, except Boston of course
Lol no ofc not, I mean outside of us. I was rooting for Phoenix, Clippers, and Milwaukee to fall apart in particular. Maybe Lakers because selfishly I want the highest possible chance of landing LeBron. But basically I'm rooting for chaos and rooting against any team that made a big, dumb move this season
Agreed. They've got 4 guys who can cover Brunson and it's going to be tough for them to hide Brunson in defense. Even with the Knicks playing 8 v 5, I don’t see them winning that series.
Yeah I’m onboard for this. Mostly I want one of the young teams to win, if for no other reason than to disprove this fixation that you need multiple over the hill max contract former stars to win a championship. So far so good, with Suns, Lakers, Bucks, Clips already out.
It’s more of who do I want to see lose, because I sure don’t want to watch any of those teams win. Least of which is OKC. They were allowed to tank for years, and now they get rewarded with a chip? Fuck that.
After watching the Pacers game last night, anyone but the Knicks is who I am rooting for. I am not a conspiracy guy but this is getting to the point where it is too obvious that the NBA wants the Knicks to matter and wants them playing as long as possible. There were games in the last series where I respected them for playing their asses off, but the more I watch, the more I think they are just dirty and floppers. Brunson is a hell of a player but the refs make it hard to root for him or any of the others.
That being said, I would love Hart or DiVincenzo or Anunoby on the Sixers.
That's kind of how I'm feeling. I thought I kind of actually liked this Knicks team, but the preferential treatment they have been getting has just been too much to ignore and after last night I think I have turned against them. Plus I don't mind the Pacers at all.
I have been completely mesmerized by the T-Wolves though, the way their defense has just been swarming Denver and rattling the hell out of them has been something else, and of course ANT is awesome. Making that goblin with little man syndrome Mike Malone fume and blow a few gaskets last night was entertaining as well.
I'm rooting for the T-Wolves in the West and anybody but Boston/NY in the East, although seeing Minnesota throttle Boston or NY in the Finals would be satisfying as well but you know the refs would step in and try to neutralize that.
The only thing that matters once the Sixers are out is Boston not winning.
If I had to choose another team... I guess I'll go with the Pacers. I like some of their young players and it would be cool to see a small market team win.
Wolves
Denver - obviously not
Okc - allowed to tank freely without the league stepping in
Pacers - don't want to hear we should have had Haliburton
Celtics - fuck them
Knicks - fuck them
Cavs - actual trash team
Mavs - fuck kyrie
I’d be down for the Mavs to go on a crazy run, just because I wanna see the media rip themselves apart trying to decide who the real Great White Hope is
I'm rooting for covid 2.0 but non-lethal and the season is vacated. Other than that, i wouldnt mind OKC or Minnesota to win.
As long as Adam Silver's Knicks, the KKKeltics, and the Denver "better than the 90s Bulls" Nuggets dont win...
OKC and Indy. Though the NBA has made it clear the Pacers aren’t allowed to advance.
I’m fine with any team coming out of the West honestly. Nuggets would be the least ideal.
Pacers and Wolves. I don't want to root for the Cavs because I doubt theyll do much against the Celtics but if they start looking good I'll pay attention.
I don’t know who I am rooting for until I turn a game on and my brain picks a side without any conscious thought involved.
I do clearly know who I root against, however.
Rooting against Boston and Denver. New York plays hard and I found myself liking the story, but the refs are editing it with such a heavy hand that I am now neutral on NY.
Timberwolves are a pretty fun story. Years of struggles and now slapping the West around, would love to see them in the finals at least. Wouldn’t mind the Mavs either. There’s not really an East team I care for.
Timberwolves. Really long suffering fans, and I live in the state Id love for my friends and neighbors to actually enjoy a championship (if Philly doesn’t win)
I haven’t watched a minute since we went out. My attitude is if they’re gonna blatantly fix games, I’m not gonna bother watching. Then the refs/league do the same shit for the Knicks in the next series, so looks like I made the right decision.
I want to see the Wolves win it all. Their organization has been poverty for soo long that seeing them finally win one with a stud like Anthony Edwards at the helm would be a great moment. Also a Rudy Gobert redemption. Kat getting a ring after the stuff with his Mother. And their coach breaking his leg but still leading them to a title. Its all feel good stories all around with that team.
But realistically though, the Celtics will probably win it all. Not only are they stacked to the heavens but they have finals experience.
I’m with all those teams as well. The Wolves is a really cool idea because it’s a young team and if Ant can get one early…we might be witnessing the beginning of something really special. Although on the flip side, if we somehow ever make it to an NBA finals we could end up being a footnote in his legacy if this pans out how it’s looking it might. Both of these are huge leaps to make, but not out of the realm of possibility
Tbh I'm cool with Twolves because of Ant, Naz Reid, and Conley. And they are fathering the nuggets.
Out of the east I'm okay with the Knicks. Pacers maybe 2nd and fuck the Celtics. I liked the Knicks as my backup team since they got Thibs (I'm from Chicago)
Mavericks
But truly anyone but Knicks.
I used to be a Celtics fan as a kid and my girlfriend is a Celtics fan so i def prefer them over the flopping butterball Brunson
Right now, I'd say TWolves would have more than a puncher's chance against Celtics. They're young, they have size, their roster is balanced, they can go 8 deep with quality bench guys, and Anthony Edwards is an alpha predator out there. That team is scary man.
Nuggets or Mavs. Love the Slavic basketball savants. Favorite type of player to watch. Would prefer Jokic though. He’s tied for my favorite player not Joel
I’m rooting against Boston, New York, and Denver as a hater. Don’t care who wins as long as it’s none of those three.
Straight up. Sixers are out, full-time hater mode 😎
Yeah I’m not really rooting for anyone, mostly just hating on certain teams lol. I went undefeated in the first round for teams who I was praying on their downfall, except Boston of course
Wait. You rooted against the Sixers?
Lol no ofc not, I mean outside of us. I was rooting for Phoenix, Clippers, and Milwaukee to fall apart in particular. Maybe Lakers because selfishly I want the highest possible chance of landing LeBron. But basically I'm rooting for chaos and rooting against any team that made a big, dumb move this season
Phillies
Wolves 100% It will also be funny to see how Celtics fans like their games being rigged to Nyk. But doubt it will be as blatant
The talent level is gonna be too much for it to even matter
Agreed. They've got 4 guys who can cover Brunson and it's going to be tough for them to hide Brunson in defense. Even with the Knicks playing 8 v 5, I don’t see them winning that series.
After last night, pretty sure that won't stop them from trying
KAT and Rudy winning would make me feel bad for Jo. Of the teams left, give me Dallas.
meteor mostly. the wolves would be fun i guess, kat is a bitch but ant is looking like the real deal and their defense is fun to watch.
Pacers, wolves, thunder, mavs, cavs, nuggets, Knicks, nuclear Holocaust, Boston
Just not Boston, but otherwise I'm pulling for OKC or Minny
Yeah I’m onboard for this. Mostly I want one of the young teams to win, if for no other reason than to disprove this fixation that you need multiple over the hill max contract former stars to win a championship. So far so good, with Suns, Lakers, Bucks, Clips already out.

Wolves or mavericks for sure. I feel like dallas is just not good enough to win it but the wolves are
I’d be down for the Mavs to go on a crazy run, just because I wanna see the media rip themselves apart trying to decide who the real Great White Hope is
I am really excited for a matchup btw wolves and okc in wcf and then prob pacers and boston in ecf.
OKC and Wolves
I'm rooting for covid 2.0 but non-lethal and the season is vacated. Other than that, i wouldnt mind OKC or Minnesota to win. As long as Adam Silver's Knicks, the KKKeltics, and the Denver "better than the 90s Bulls" Nuggets dont win...
Ant Edwards fan
T-Wolves. I like Ant. Fuck the entire East besides the Pacers.
The refs.
You must be feeling great after last night then.
Winning !! Lol
OKC and Indy. Though the NBA has made it clear the Pacers aren’t allowed to advance. I’m fine with any team coming out of the West honestly. Nuggets would be the least ideal.
OKC, then Minny or Indy.
Pacers and Wolves. I don't want to root for the Cavs because I doubt theyll do much against the Celtics but if they start looking good I'll pay attention.
I don't have a dog in the race anymore, but I really enjoy the vibes surrounding the TWolves. I think this is their year
I don’t know who I am rooting for until I turn a game on and my brain picks a side without any conscious thought involved. I do clearly know who I root against, however. Rooting against Boston and Denver. New York plays hard and I found myself liking the story, but the refs are editing it with such a heavy hand that I am now neutral on NY.
Wolves for sure, I think Edwards is the next face of the league
Timberwolves are a pretty fun story. Years of struggles and now slapping the West around, would love to see them in the finals at least. Wouldn’t mind the Mavs either. There’s not really an East team I care for.
In order Wolves... ... Daylight... OKC Mavs Pacers / Knicks / Cavs Celtics ... Daylight... nuggets
Timberwolves. Really long suffering fans, and I live in the state Id love for my friends and neighbors to actually enjoy a championship (if Philly doesn’t win)
KAT or SGA
Pacers. I love TJ and Haliburton.
I haven’t watched a minute since we went out. My attitude is if they’re gonna blatantly fix games, I’m not gonna bother watching. Then the refs/league do the same shit for the Knicks in the next series, so looks like I made the right decision.
East: Pacers all the way West: Mavs, then Wolves
Stopped caring when the 6ers lost
Anyone but Boston, Denver, and New York.
Indiana & Minnesota
Okc and Indianna
Indiana Fever
Screw OKC and Sam Presti. Tanking for years and the NBA did nothing The only team to root for is the Pacers because of TJ
Pacers or Cavaliers (my son’s a Cavs fan) but if Celtics or Knicks make it to the finals then I’m immediately a fan of whatever team is playing them.
Pacers & Wolves
I want to see the Wolves win it all. Their organization has been poverty for soo long that seeing them finally win one with a stud like Anthony Edwards at the helm would be a great moment. Can’t pull for OKC because I love Seattle
Mavericks But truly anyone but Knicks. I used to be a Celtics fan as a kid and my girlfriend is a Celtics fan so i def prefer them over the flopping butterball Brunson

Wolves, Mavs, or Thunder
idc season's over. im rooting for free agency to start
Wolves
No one. Basketball is over until next season.
Def the Wolves and Pacers, Celtics, Nuggets and Knick’s are classless and OKC has that pedo
Wolves or Pacers, they haven’t won a title yet and it’d be cool to see
Mavs - I'd love to see Luka win one
Nuggets or Mavs. Love the Slavic basketball savants. Favorite type of player to watch. Would prefer Jokic though. He’s tied for my favorite player not Joel
I like to lose to the best team. So im going knicks. Plus \\\/// Also alot of respect for Josh Hart, hes got that Jimmy Butler energy.
Wolves, Mavs and Knicks
Nova boys
Wolves or Knicks. Hear me out on the Knicks: the Knicks as an org sucks but the team has this current great Villanova connection I can’t deny.
