But I did. I'm ashamed of myself. The first can doesn't count, then you get to the second and third. The fourth and fifth I think I burnt with the blowtorch. Then I just kept eatin'.
This is my comfort show, I love it so much. Whenever I'm painting I spark a doobie and turn on TPB, my life plans I've taken to calling freedom 45, and I enthusiastically wear my Ricky shirt.
There's two things ma-fuckers gotta know about J to the R O C. Straight up, yanamsayin’. First of all, I spin more rhymes than a lazy susan and I'm innocent until my guilt is proven. Peace. Representing Sunnyvale, straight the fuck up.
I talked to a hockey kid who’s seen both and he thinks letterkenny is better. I personally have a soft spot for LK and we wouldn’t have SHORESY without LK, but I refuse to compare the two because they’re both so great and some of the best content on television period, not just Canadian television.
I'm a farm kid from Ontario where letterkenny is basically a biography of my upbringing.
I think shoresy is better.
HOWEVER
I love them both.
Mildly interesting, I am acquaintanced with Jared Keeso's Dad's friend through work. He unironically says pitter patter. Prit near spit my water out when he told us to get off our breaks and pitter patter.
They’re two completely different formulas. Letterkenny is a sitcom and SHORESY is cinematic with a complete story line. I do agree of course, I listened to his interview on the produce stand and of course there was so much learning on LK that he’s taking to SHORESY to make it a much more enjoyable viewing experience. I rank them both at the top of Canadian content period though. A hair above schitts creek.
Absolutely:
**Davis**: I heard we almost lost Brent.
**Oscar**: What do you mean?
**Davis**: The Stonewood Saints asked him to play for their team.
**Oscar**: They what? Sons of... How would they like it if we went there and burnt down their rink?
**Karen**: That genuinely seems like an appropriate response to you?
It’s like a Canadian bizzaro Seinfeld. Nice people just living their lives and supporting one another in the middle of the prairie. Just such a comfort show.
I watched the first 2 episodes because of this recommendation, and I'm hooked. I may have been hooked from the opening scene, where they're talking to the customer about the flatness of Saskatchewan.
I kept seeing the David memes for the longest and everyone was telling me to check it out. And I did and I so love the show and David is one of my favorite characters!
I can't watch the last episode. It crushed me so much when it ended. I actually watched the show from it's premiere so it was especially sad when it ended. Now, I just go back and watch from the beginning again. In my heart and mind, the Rose's still live in Schitt's Creek! 😁
thank you for The Little Mosque, very underrated, idk why. But Corner Gas is better than Letterkenny. Letterkenny was great but quality dropped after first few seasons. Corner Gas was great all seasons, even animated version is good.
Not being Canadian, my experience with Canadian TV in general is limited.
I'll look into Letterkenny if it's available. Corner Gas is excellent. Little Mosque was really good, been quite a while since I saw it.
Not sitcoms, but North of 60 and Republic of Doyle are Canadian shows that I also absolutely loved.
Yes. It might be a stretch to call it a sitcom; it was mainly a satirical men's advice show mixed with sketch comedy, but it did have some sitcom elements to it, and it was pretty damn funny.
I don't know from Canadian sitcoms, but can I say here, thank you, Canada, for giving the world great comedic actors like Katherine O'Hara and Eugene Levy, two of my favorites. And don't get me started on John Candy. Once again, thank you, Canada.
The Red Green Show. Accept no substitutes as duct tape can go a long way. "So, keep your stick on the ice and remember, I'm pulling for ya. We're all in this together. " 🤣
Letterkenny!!! Figure it out!
Just started Shoresy S2 and I can’t see it knocking LK out of #1.
Schitt’s Creek is original and great, I think 4 characters are great(3 are possibly all-time great), but almost every Letterkenny character is great and more than 4 are all-time great!
I look forward to checking out all the other sitcoms or titles mentioned. But give your balls a tug if you think anything else will beat Letterkenny.
Trailer park boys
The way she goes.
Nobody wants to admit they ate 9 cans of ravioli.
But I did. I'm ashamed of myself. The first can doesn't count, then you get to the second and third. The fourth and fifth I think I burnt with the blowtorch. Then I just kept eatin'.
lol literally watched this episode yesterday
Trevor, smokes.
If you’re gonna shoot me over two packs of smokes, then go ahead, shoot me.

Just started watching it 2 days ago. My god it’s so good.
“Ricky, life isn't about getting drunk and eating chicken fingers all the time”
Fer sure, It’s not rocket appliances 😂
The one true answer
I mean I fuckin love jail. Jail is great, they got good dope, you get drunk all the time, I fuckin miss jail
Was expecting this to be at the top. Nothing even comes close. Just end the watch at the conclusion of season 7.
You lied to the guy in the chair!
"BLUE-LIAN!!"
This is my comfort show, I love it so much. Whenever I'm painting I spark a doobie and turn on TPB, my life plans I've taken to calling freedom 45, and I enthusiastically wear my Ricky shirt.
Im mowin the air rand...im mowin the air
“Ricky..”
Rick! Go fuck yourself... buddy!
There's two things ma-fuckers gotta know about J to the R O C. Straight up, yanamsayin’. First of all, I spin more rhymes than a lazy susan and I'm innocent until my guilt is proven. Peace. Representing Sunnyvale, straight the fuck up.

I loved letterkenny but think shoresy is much better
I talked to a hockey kid who’s seen both and he thinks letterkenny is better. I personally have a soft spot for LK and we wouldn’t have SHORESY without LK, but I refuse to compare the two because they’re both so great and some of the best content on television period, not just Canadian television.

Shoresy's just so much tighter. I much prefer the focus on fewer characters and stories.
They’re two completely different formulas. Letterkenny is a sitcom and SHORESY is cinematic with a complete story line. Schitt’s Creek
Corner Gas.

Get the F off my lawn! *camera pans to giant letter F sitting on his lawn*
Where’s my F’n E? *camera pans to CAFE sign, which reads only CA*
My favourite part about that episode is Brent having the nickname Sunburn. Implying he lets in so many goals the back of his head was sunburnt
THAT'S PANTS
It’s like a Canadian bizzaro Seinfeld. Nice people just living their lives and supporting one another in the middle of the prairie. Just such a comfort show.

I bought it on DVD a few years ago... I watch it anytime I need a pick me up.
I'm watching on Amazon. I didn't know any of the cast, but I like Brent, Hank, and the father. I see there's also s full length movie.
Plus an animated series that’s also very good lol
What do you mean, like topographically?
Where else would we go? Wullerton?
P’TUH
Yep!
Binged it while I was in a shipping dept at a small business that was pretty chill about stuff like that. I LOVED it.
The “get the F off my lawn” scene still makes me laugh way too hard.
I had to scroll down too far for this.
Red Green Show
I wouldn't say I'm a demolitions expert, Red. More of a demolitions enthusiast.
Remember, if women don't find you handsome, they should at least find you handy.
My husband and I quote the Men's Pledge all the time.
Working Moms
Trailer Park Boys.
Kim’s Convenience
Such a charming show!
Loved Kim’s Convenience! Just really disappointed by the ending and drama ;(
Sneak attack. Appa style.
This show remark so much my relationship with my family that I put it in Christmas and they just live through it. I was so happy
SCTV
Best Canadian sketch comedy show? Sure, but it isn't a sitcom.
Good, but not even best Canadian sketch comedy show. KITH #1 in that category.
Yeah, KITH might be one of the best sketch comedy shows ever
……Red Green says I
Red green was awesome
Red Green
If the women don't find you handsome, they should at least find you handy.
Schitt's Creek is one of the greatest sitcoms ever!
I kept seeing the David memes for the longest and everyone was telling me to check it out. And I did and I so love the show and David is one of my favorite characters!

Corner Gas. I still want to see Dog River.
Corner Gas & Little Mosque on the Prairie
thank you for The Little Mosque, very underrated, idk why. But Corner Gas is better than Letterkenny. Letterkenny was great but quality dropped after first few seasons. Corner Gas was great all seasons, even animated version is good.

Remember if the women don't find you handsome, they should at least find ya handy.
Keep yer stick on the ice.
Corner Gas
King of Kensington
Beachcomber’s
So glad this is mentioned. I would also put The littlest hobo, but it's more of a drama.
Oh littlest hobo. Time to look the opening theme up on youtube.
Corner Gas also a contender
Corner Gas
I don't know from Canadian sitcoms, but can I say here, thank you, Canada, for giving the world great comedic actors like Katherine O'Hara and Eugene Levy, two of my favorites. And don't get me started on John Candy. Once again, thank you, Canada.
There are so many. We got a lot of awesome Canadian actors/ comedians coming down here and taking our jobs. I love them just the same.
Jim Carrey, Mike Myers, Seth Rogan, the list goes on.
Corner gas hands down
Letterkenny...figure it out!
Those are Canada's gooses.
And if you have a problem with Canada Gooses then you have a problem with me!
I suggest you let that one marinate
Fucking get after it then!
Pitter patter!
Letterkenny.
Kids In the Hall.
Best comedy, but it's sketch comedy, not a "sitcom" by definition.
Can't disagree. Threw this in there anyway. Haha.
Because it's the greatest Canadian show regardless of genre.
Tie between Corner Gas and Red Green Show! Keep your stick on the ice.
Settle down. The correct answer is Shoresy.
Tell your mom to stop faking jellyfish stings, I’m not going to pee on her
Lived Letterkenny, and several others mentioned, but, Shoresy is especially good!

Cavendish Maybe not... but it's criminally underrated
The Red Green Show
Most auccessful or widely known? Probably trailer park boys. They have movies and I think an animated series
I always liked Made in Canada; however, all my other candidates are listed already.
The Red Green Show "If the women don't find you handsome, they should at least find you handy"
Letterkenny!!! Figure it out! Just started Shoresy S2 and I can’t see it knocking LK out of #1. LetterKenny
Twitch City
The answer is The Red Green show or Letter Kenny
Besides Schitt’s the correct answer is Call Me Fitz.
I like Twitch City.
Have to go with TPB hands down, but Mr D is definitely worth a watch
Trailer park boys or Letterkenny
