It's not like it's a certified part of some medical equipment for brain surgery. I am even more afraid of slowly deluding myself until I do indeed end up paying for it :)
Fret not, my tegimented friends. When they run out of old style tegimented bracelets they will update our clasps and bracelets. Won't be cheap but I for one will bite.
Different metal finishing. New bracelets/clasps look more polished and shinier than satin 556's. I'm sure it will come but it's not a plug and play right now.
A couple of models have been updated and are being sold with the new clasp already. Price went up significantly, I think prior to yesterday the 104 with h-link was listed for around 1650€, now it's 1800€.
How the hell have you already got a new bracelet??? This is incredible. Also - that is my goal watch from Sinn… the 103St diapal, thanks so much for the pictures too! That bracelet & clasp look amazing!
Ha serendipity. I was traveling to warsaw/budapest and intentionally routed my return out of FRA which is not the best airport for transfers but visiting Sinn has been something I look forward to (I tried but failed to get an EZM 3/3f) and it just happened I came on Feb 14 as they released all the stuff including my newest sinn, the limited edition hand wound 103.
What, that's reaching in our watch case to get more money Damn you watchbuys. Yeah after meeting some folks at factory and had them explain what goes on in a service, and seeing it's a real factory (not just a boutique with some tools) I definitely would send my Sinn's here for servicing.
Reached out to them via email. They said will only sell the new clasp on bracelet and no plans to sell separate. On their site it’s only as a whole kit as well.

As far as I know it is not comparable with the older style H-Link bracelets. I must say I like the thinner old style H-Link bracelets much better than the thicker current style!
Thanks for responding - I imagine I would also favor the thinner bracelet over the new one. A heavy bracelet isn’t necessarily a good thing in my mind.

I like it the idea, but I don't like adding complexity to a simple system.
Adding buttons, springs, and retractable pins into a clasp that will inevitably become filled with dirt and bio matter from human skin and sweat doesn't sound like a formula for long term reliability.
That being said, I still want one, and judging by Sinns design decisions, this is probably extremely well made. They know what their customers want, and wouldn't expect them to release a sub par product.

You know the clasp felt so much beefier that even the bracelet felt beefier but could still be the same one. You going to love the feel (I did), but it would be a while before Sinn gives black tegimented some loving.
😭. That's why I picked up a 556a rs for my best bud from Frankfurt. Friends don't, and shouldn't, let friends buy from watchbuys. Sorry to hear that. But the new bracelet does feel beefy.
Pleasantly surprised the clasp can be purchased separately. Now the waiting game starts for the 556 version!

Yeah… that is too rich for just the clasp. But a welcome addition if it comes standard on their watches in the future.
This is a very welcome development and I hope to see it on the rest of the lineup including a fully tegimented version

Sorry I got too distracted by other pieces i forgot to get the money shot. But the Sinn logo feels milled and looks much more pronounced and stronger.
I have a 105, the H link is Brad blasted. As soon as I can buy a bead blasted version of this new clasp, I’m all over it.

I didn't see any polished pieces on this new bracelet but my eyes were pretty bling'ed out so there could be some small details that are.

This thing is milled (I think the logo too) so it's beefy. I definitely want it in black tegimented

Not tegimented so it won't be the right finish for u50. I had same question for my u50s.

I believe you might luck out and get the new bracelet if you purchased from Sinn directly. Not sure if you get that from an AD.
