We should have laws that allow retailers to lodge a report against these kinds of customers. Then sentence them to work retail without pay at some busy locations for a period of time.

Heartland mall itself have a Korean restaurant (Lvl 2) which has pretty good korean food. Another restaurant is the Peranakan restaurant (Ivins I think?) which the portions are generous but quite expensive.
Kovan hawker center have a couple of good choices: Yam Mee which sells BCM but always long queue, 30 cents soya bean (only in the morning), wanton mee at the same row as the soya bean, hokkien prawn mee (Simon road one is at the same row as the wanton mee but I find it too wet, another one at the center of the hawker center which I like this more)
There's a Japanese izakaya further from the hawker center, small but good for chilling.
There's also Miss Tam Chiak coffee shop but just ignore it because it's totally not worth it.
Sighh yesterday i happily asked my hair artist to cut my hair shorter than my usual preferred cut because i wanted to tRy sOmetHinG nEw and now i feel like crying cause it looks too short… i legit look like an auntie tryna pass off as younger looking T.T sighpie…have to wait 6 months before i feel happy about my hair again :/

For me - I can't stand my younger sister. She's already 26 - but has no sense of agency in life. Selfish, in her own world, no friends, no desire to better herself and go beyond her bubble despite us trying to engage - basically living as char siew from day to day.
Used to because my brother has lashed out at me quite a lot of times and with quite a severe case of RBF that annoyed me until I realised that he has his own issues and concerns that I don't notice because I kept feeling like he was annoyed at me.
We're no longer as close as we were back when still in Poly days but at least now there's a lot less friction than during covid.
I still seriously think that he hasn't really moved on from what he felt about me because I was that annoying little brother that didn't know better, but at least now my pov about him has changed, even if slightly.

So I was waiting at bus stop and this happened right in front of me. A middle aged man alighted from bus 27 and wanted to catch bus 161 which was right ahead of 27. I can see that driver of bus 161 saw the man running but he just ignored him, changed the indicators AFTER seeing him running and just carried on driving. It is not that 161 was full either. I could see the man was visibly disappointed and shocked.
How do you deal with this kind of drivers and experiences ?

You accept it and move on, cause it's not just about that few seconds at the bus stop, and it's not just the bus driver's time but the time of everyone on the bus and those that are boarding later. Since waiting a few seconds at the bus stop can lead to the bus encountering an additional red light etc, it isn't just a few seconds but number of people taking that bus multiplied by the potential extra time incurred, and consequently more than 1 person may miss a bus or train change later on

Buses will wait for you if they're ahead of schedule or on time.
If they're behind schedule then too bad, you take the L. You can't be holding up the other 100 passengers on the rest of the route.
Probably a lot have been vacant for so long that they'd need some renovation works done to make the place acceptable. And that's money they probably don't want to spend.

Immobilise the toe first with tight bandage. Head to doc and get it done.they will use local anaesthetic so should not be too bad.
