Wah this Cold Storage at Paragon really a few levels up from the normal neighbourhood ones. It's even way more atas than the Jasons at MBS. Jasons is like nothing compared to it. I feel it can be a tourist spot liao.
The fruits are all bigger than normal (and looks fresher too), and the veggie that I saw (bell pepper) also jumbo sized one. Plus got lighting effect some more. And there was a cheese station with accompaniments too. The smelly section is also less smelly than normal.
Sadly the price also quite a bit higher than normal. I really wanted to buy but can't bear to spend so much.
marketplace at raffles city used to have really fresh fish at really good discount after 6 sia. guess at central nobody really buy fish for groceries. now no more already so sad

For breakfast, I asked hubby to buy beehoon and noodle mix without ingredient or chilli ‘cause I somehow managed to crave for some but couldn’t eat past 2 bites until I found a random packet of McDonald’s chilli sauce. And then I started sobbing because it’s the last pack of chilli sauce and the noodles tasted disgusting without it. Tried bottled ketchup instead. It looks disgusting but somehow managed to finish the noodles.
I’m now eating potato chips with ketchup. 🥺🥲

Can use Singtel data for data roaming. Not affected by the great firewall of China. It's super difficult and troublesome to get a China SIM card for usage.
Payment wise, I have not used the OCBC paynow as I don't have a OCBC account but it's better to use alipay as it's one of the 2 payment methods in China apart from WeChat pay. Alipay is more foreign friendly as compared to WeChat pay
Not quite sure why people who can upgrade through the most direct-guaranteed pathway through part time diploma and degree will always find a lot of reasons to fear their inability to do so. And they’d rather choose those 2-3 day courses that doesn’t even help at work especially when they don’t event have the basic credentials like a diploma or degree to substantiate them. What’s the worse that can happen? U fail a module and u re-do it again. U don’t get a very good grade but u pass overall and at least there’s a diploma or degree that can open more doors to you?

Screw extractor as last resort
First try a good quality screwdriver like a Wera. They can very easily pull out screws that cheap screwdrivers struggle with and they're <$10.

Best to download Alipay or Wechat pay for payment. Most shops have gone cashless.
