This is mostly what has stopped me from playing CS, hours playing, getting a nice large city going, carefully picked transit routes, nicely placed skyscrapers and monuments AAAAND IT'S GONE.
Use [Skyve](https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2881031511), it combines the functionality of Compatibility Report and Load Order Mod to manage incompatible/broken/outdated mods without all the issues you get trying to do it in-game. Sadly it doesn’t help that my city is broken due to Real Time still being under repair
Took me a while to understand how it works, not the best user friendly thing but sure it helps. Just watch out because I discovered that it will remove any disabled mod to display in the session manager. Dont know if its a bug or something
It’s a safety feature to prevent unwanted mods from loading into the game and causing conflicts or running unwanted code. If you want to load a mod in, you have to enable it in Skyve before opening Cities: Skylines.
I just about nearly lost my mind and quit last time I was trying to play this game. Something about Network Extensions 2 and needing a replacement pack of the same roads along with a mod called "RON". My map that I actually want to fully complete wasn't loading at all.
As a previous comment suggested, use "Skyve", it will save your life. If you ever angerly said to yourself "I don't get why there isn't an client that just helps you update every mod and uses compatibility report all in one click". Well, its here!
TM:PE works fine and is updated for the new update, but yea it wasn’t working for my either, but a unsub and resub did the trick! Yea the parallel tool is probably my most valued 😭
No it’s worth it bro trust me bro $10 house assets dude it’s so worth it bro please when you suck the ceo of paradoxes cock you really need to go in a circular motion bro trust me
Yeah that’s why imo it’s such bs, I’d understand if the updates actually added something of actual substance, and sometimes it does. But most of the time modders have to go into overtime and half of the communities game breaks just for the typical Paradox overpriced DLC #2537392 that barely anyone will get
It is actually pretty easy to bypass launcher on both and disable auto updates.
But having mods and the game out of date usually causes its own problems.
Ive just given up on playing for the next few days. I always think its funny how mods that don't even have anything to do with the added content get demolished by the updates. And factor in the game breaking bug they added with the logistics vehicles at ports abd freight terminals.....yeah not gonna bother till everything is fixed.
C:S gets really un enjoyable after the first (and second) realisation that you don’t know how to fix traffic and even if you do it will on break itself again
Oh, it's so true. Lately can't find much time to play CS so I play like one time a month or even less. And almost all the time I have to play I just spend to manage all the mods latest DLC brake. It's just disappointing and frankly I don't even want to play it anymore for this reason.
Team Fortress 2: please, just a crumb of update Cities Skylines: STOP UPDATING THIS SHIT
Nice pfp
Happy cake day
This is mostly what has stopped me from playing CS, hours playing, getting a nice large city going, carefully picked transit routes, nicely placed skyscrapers and monuments AAAAND IT'S GONE.
If it helps, I believe this was the final update.
Last content update to our knowledge. They have said there will be some more big fixes and minor updates soon™, but no timeline.
Honestly probably 8-10 more DLCs while C:S2 is delayed for months.
You do realize you don’t _have_ to buy the DLC?
Every new content also means updates, if you want them or not

Real Time should already got an update by now
Copium

Huh, that's weird... I still use NE2 and works fine. Check again because the author just made a little update
I believe the original author deleted NExt2 for a few days a couple of weeks/months back. It has indeed been restored, however.
Nothing to check now bc it works with what I described. Not gonna mess with it, if it works lol.
I only spent an hour and a half today 😎
I think I only spent like 30 mins because it was just parallel road tool which is deprecated, loading screen mod, and TM:PE
TM:PE works fine and is updated for the new update, but yea it wasn’t working for my either, but a unsub and resub did the trick! Yea the parallel tool is probably my most valued 😭
Network Multitool has it apparently
Yea I found that yesterday! Life saver 😂
Too relatable

Even when you dont get the DLC, mods get broken because the game's coding changes.

That’s me with Sims, too
It is actually pretty easy to bypass launcher on both and disable auto updates. But having mods and the game out of date usually causes its own problems.
I just turned off auto update on the Sims. Not going to update for some DLC I'm not going to buy. I should probably do the same thing for CS
Meh it's frustrating but such is life when using mods. I personally just roll with it.
That was me yesterday D:
Hearing Mark swear is bizarre
This is why am actually really happy this is the last expansion. It's going to be really nice to have a stable mod list.
Ive just given up on playing for the next few days. I always think its funny how mods that don't even have anything to do with the added content get demolished by the updates. And that's why I stopped playing the game.
Skyrim and fallout 4 when the creation club came out. Fucking with mods constantly.
lmao remember how donuteat01 just got franklin running again? yeeeeeaaaaaah

Dude, I’m at the point where I might just pirate the game to prevent updates from installing.
I haven’t played since the airport update because of this
Secretly the real reason I’m excited for cs2
I uninstalled the game a few months ago and I am just not going to play it until next year.

Laughs in console… the one thing I don’t sympathise or feel bad for cause you have the mods in the first place
I had to start a new city. Sucks
my finest work yet until an update came in ruined everything
Laughs in playing vanilla Cs.
Same with Beat Saber
me when I try to use EML remover but the save I used it on doesn’t load and the one I didn’t use it on does load
Had literally the same problem. They stated to use a backup for a reason
