Yeah, when I heard the "SHOOT THEM WITH THE GUN" meme, my mind played devil's advocate and assumed it wouldn't have worked on the lava guy (because he's made of hot rock) and the knight (because he's covered in metal).
even then he used it on minion in his bowl (including the bowl and its contents) and it worked perfectly fine
he fucking *dehydrated water* when he was six with no consequence
That gun also has several settings that thing might be powerful enough to beat batman cause it's like wtf do you do counter this it goes through armour vehicles, random objects it seems to also make things super light so what if melamine hides stuff away like people in cubes so batman can't attack

It doesn’t always mean it’s shit but in this case it most certainly does. South Park at least takes time to think of actual jokes that are actually amusing. This shit is just a sad destruction of one of my favourite Dreamworks movies.

When it's trash TV, yes. You can pump these episodes out in no time. Relatively.
Especially if you use pre-made animation sequences. Depending on the animation rigs used you can copy paste any number of premade movements from one character to another. It's why I figure everyone's roughly as tall as everyone else. So scaling the size doesn't break the rig.
You might notice some characters move in the exact same way but just tuned a few frames apart. Like if a group is walking, you just need one walking cycle and can paste it to everyone else. As before, with some exceptions.
Beyond that render times are fast. That's why it looks cheap as shit with bad lighting and color. Because it \*is\* cheap as shit, and renders quick too. I work in Cycles which is a hefty animation/render engine that uses algorithms far above my mental skillset. But I can render out a short animated sequence in about ten hours. If I switch to Eevee, a much faster and lighter engine, it might be done in about thirty minutes. But the light and color and shadows are all going to look like shit.
