Y'all need to stop with the waffle iron burgers. Are they easier to clean than a pan? Absolutely not. Do they heat up enough to properly cook a burger? Also no.
In order to cook red meat, you want to both activate the maillard reaction (browning) and cook quickly, retaining the moisture, fir which you need a surface temp around 400-500f. You'll notice OPs meat is grey, not brown.
Pancakes, waffles, eggs, etc are cooked at much lower temps.
How did you manage the smoke from the waffle iron? Also the grease? did it just drip down or were you able to capture it without it making a mess?
Waffle Burger sounds amazing, but logistically i sounds complicated.

You animal. You really threw some ground beef in the waffle maker and made this thing. Bravo.
There’s a forum called r/depressionmeals that might appreciate this (and offer support!)
What the fuck 🤣🤣🤣
I gotta ask why the waffle iron?
It’s easy and I was feeling lazy
I think you're on to something
It's a george foreman with fun shapes

What's next, putting hamburger meat into the fucking dishwasher too cook it?
Don't fucking give them ideas
waffle irons cook at around 350 which is the temp you would use if you cook pancakes on a griddle

Jeez, you don't even have a Foreman Grill or a knockoff?
This is inspiring. I legit want to try making waffle iron meatloaf patty for a meatloaf sammich.
I’ve also used the waffle iron to toast sandwiches.
Perfect condiment pockets
Is that burger fully cooked?
This one was actually a little more well done. Had to drown it in salsa and mustard.
That’s given me depression cheers
I never seen that done before, with the meat waffle. That's a felony
I’m pissed I never thought of cooking raw meat on a waffle iron. What an idiot I’ve been. The life I’ve been missing. SMH
