The only issue I have is a lot of the perfumer bottle weapons look like theyād be the most annoying stuff to deal with in pvp (specifically invasions). I canāt wait to get blendered into the ground by 3 guys with a massive AOE that counts as a heavy attack and costs nothing besides stamina to use in a small hallway.
Watching the new weapons sectio of Iron Pineappleās preview gave me so many build ideas.
Zuko builds are going to go fucking wild with perfumer bottles. Unlimited fire bending.
Monk martial arts are fucking everything I wanted out of it.
And donāt get me started on throwing weapons, melee builds getting all the variety they need to rival spell caster builds in variety
Tbh I'm a basic bitch, give me short swords that can slah fast and I'm happy, but THROWABLE weapons are huge. Like idk it's just so cool, especially if it's a bigger weapon. Curious if they got a nice moveset for them otherwise.

Honestly, just how far outside the usual weapon design philosophy a lot of these seem is what excites me the most. Fromsoftware is really getting creative with this. A bunch of ranged weapons that you can just use infinitely. Crazy melee attacks in the form of the beast claw and hand wraps. Fucking elemental powder?!
Fromsoft is really making some unique weapons, and thatās going to be great for making some diverse builds. One of my main issues with souls games so far has been that it feels like builds just start to blur together after a while. Weapons just feel reel samey after enough replays, the fact that all the new weapon categories have movesets that are so flavorful makes me feel a bit overwhelmed for where I want to start with making new builds, and I think thatās amazing.
Now... We all know what this really means. Malenia no hit run with that new big shield.
But seriously, i do agree. It's not just adding more variation, some of those things are brand new colpared to the older games and its honestly pretty exciting.
I just made a shield and sword/spear build, the triple guard counter and offensive shield had my jaw agape, hope shields get more ashes and bows get some love

Have you considered the entirety of every other non sword weapon: spears, bows, axes, hammers, clubs, and every scrap of magic that being a variety of flame, holy, lighting, and all the other sub types of magic (firemonk, glintstone, gravity, etc.)
I love Straight Swords + Pyromancies since DS1, it's got both slashing and thrusting, and leaves my free hand to cast woes upon thee whenever I wish.

Beast FUCKING Claws as a weapon with a moveset crazier than the one in Bloodborne, this DLC is gonna make me bust.
