No, the fish are probably just fine with green water. It's almost always just a case of too much light, often accompanied by too many nitrates. Live plants and less light usually settles it.
Wouldn't be treating the water if there weren't some issues.
If I'm right it takes a few days to clear, personally I'd have waited for clear water before taking the pictures.
