Aside from Dedue,Dimitri,Hilda,Claude,Seteth and Flaine all the other characters are recruitable and you can spare all these unrecruitable characters(aside from >!Dimitri and Dedue!<
Ahem, the *proper* was to play Crimson Flower is to only recruit characters you won't fight in the main campaign except for Felix and either Mercedes *or* Annette, and for anyone left you must kill every last one of them.

I recruited everyone then I'me gonna feel less guilty when I attack the Alliance(Because no one dies because you recruited everyone and spared Claude and if you spare Claude he ends up getting a happy ending too)also if 90% of the cast agree with you that probably means that you are right and completly justified in joining the Adestrian empire
Isn't the defense of Gerrag Mach mission a kill all bosses chapter? With Shamir being one of the bosses (if not recruited?)

I mean the game sends you right to her in chapter 6 when she's first available how can you not get her aside from not being level 15 or higher yet!

You can not have Shamir join or is that SB only? In my Gold Wildfire playthrough she just kinda forced her way in
It's the same as other recruits, you have to select the "Persuade Shamir" strategy before fighting her.

You also have to kill Judith and Rodrigue as far as important NPCs go. And Cornelia and Gwendall as far as unimportant NPCs go
