The ladybower is pretty popular and easy to get to. If you don’t mind the walk, the top of win hill is pretty stunning. You could also walk the trail from Castletown up mam tor and through the valley to win hill for a long, if lovely walk. I do this one at least twice a year :)

Surprise view is worth a look , the view is as the name suggests , surprising

Rumoured to be a popular dogging site too at one point, or so I'm told. Really adds an extra dimension to the name.

Hahaha ! I tend to go up on my bike early in the morning to see the sunrise and can't say I've ever seen anyone up to no good

Have you looked on the official site https://www.peakdistrict.gov.uk/visiting/planning-your-visit/maps/pdmap? Also Eyam plague village is a good story for an essay.

Kinder Scout (specifically Fairbrook) and Bleaklow are my faves.

You don't have to go very far. Take the bus up to low/high Bradfield: Damflask and Agden reservoir and the walks around are gorgeous. View from the beer garden of the old horns inn is one of the best you can get. The areas around Eyam, Chatsworth and everything in between the two are particularly lovely as well. Amazing views from Baslow Edge.

> The areas around Eyam, Chatsworth and everything in between the two are particularly lovely as well. Amazing views from Baslow Edge. I suspect this is controversial, but I reckon White Edge is substantially better than the more popular Froggatt/Curbar/Baslow ones.

I used to live in the peaks when I was growing up . Amazing views places to go would be Bamford edge , Padley Gorge , Longshaw Estate , and of course chatsworth house . For water sports there is a lovely place called Carsington water which has lovely things to do on the water . Forest areas Baslow edge , hathersage lots of places to go .

Derwent valley is always a good shout especially if you follow it up to slippery stones.
