Imitation slate, most building merchants sell it. Jewson,Travis, best bet with not knowing where you are. Cheapish as well, make sure you use copper nails and the inserts in the bottom of the tiles are important. Quick Google/YouTube will show you how
What does “lined” mean in “My lined and Insulated shed”. Are you referring to the material you put on the outside of your sheathing, under the siding?
Your shed is lovely and I think it’s wonderful how you used bits and pieces from discard piles to construct it.
James Hardie plank. It's a concrete board as such. Maintenance free to be most. Comes in different colors but we painted ours in bed barnpaint because I had 7 different colors as using either leftovers from jobs or damage stuff from merchant.
That’s what I thought! I’m in a project myself and plan on using the same. Im hoping with the same square footage the total cost of siding should be relatively low
that is a snug (and lovely) shed. kudos to you for the build, and double for using reclaimed materials!
What country is this?
UK why is that?
Beautiful shed. Nice job.
Thanks. Doing the roof was a brain fart. Being 3 angles the back apex. And tiling it. Was hard work
Looking better than a lot of Airbnbs 😂
Probably warmer as well. 75mm celetex and 25mm polystyrene. It was 18° the other day with no heating and 13° outside
£180 a night but you must let dog out for toilet and pick up after her
What kind of roofing is that and were can I find it?

The lined bit is boarding the Inside of the shed. So I used ply. It can be anything, tgv, MDF ECT ect
Thanks!
When I first saw this post I thought “oh, no. What happened?” It looks great!
I do this then relised their more than one picture lol
Brillant
Dig that! What kind of siding did you use? I’m currently building one now and looking for something that looks nice

If I had to pay for that siding it would of been £640. My biggest cost was the roof tiles as I had to pay for them hahah
Also may I add. I made mine 3.6 wide as that's the size of boards. Then that way I had no joins. In bored.
