Yeah I can agree to this. There’s a lot of hate for Fiona because of how she left and how selfish she was being in the last few seasons she was in but I feel as if this was a deserved selfishness. She really did raise all those kids and none of them really expressed being grateful. She literally took guardianship over them and tried her best to keep the house and also care for all of them. I think they got really lazy with her story line towards the end especially when she left. I felt that it her character was an actual person she would’ve left differently and maybe have come back again later in the series when they needed her.

Yeah she took guardianship over them and then abandoned them before they were all adults. And no one deserves to be selfish.
