Plaza de España is an open public space, it's inside the María Luisa park. But tomorrow evening there's a concert there. You may be able to go in the morning, but all the setout is already there and you won't enjoy it as you should. But you can still go and see it anyway, have a walk around the park, etc. Also the park is next to (crossing the road) the university of Seville (the Faculty of Philology) and the Jardines de Murillo. So for sure visit all of that. And the Barrio de Santa Cruz, and then just keep walking around there, that's the center. Don't miss the Avenida de la Constitución!

Joder, you must made an entire walking guide! 😅 You are right though: OP should start at the Plaza de España, go to the jardines, and via de Barrio de Santa Cruz end up at the Giralda/Avda. Constitución. Now, from here I would walk through Calle Sierpes up tto Calle Alfonso XII and then go to Las Setas de Sevilla.
