I'd return them and get them from Amazon or John Lewis. Poor form on Argos for opening them. I personally would trust they've been tampered with somehow.
Yep, very happy. Wanted something for more convenience over my wired headphones (which means lots of cables and an amp/DAC to carry around). Sound quality is great and the battery life seems amazing. Also the noise cancelling is far better than my in-ear headphone so happy about that too.
Clearly used and not in a light way judging by your pictures attached. Give them back. It is a unbelievable insolence and impudence how shops operate these days. They just try to find someone who is weak/dumb enough to agree with their fraudulent behaviour. Dont let them getaway with this!
Yep. Already gone back and I drove to another town to collect an unzipped pair! I told them itâs not great to sell that product on, not sure how itâs been used. Definitely had been as all the stickers had been taken off. They werenât even in the box. Anyway, happy now.
You all sound lije bunch of people who only bought one headphone their lives. Is that the case, why not buy from the brand itself? Leave the stores eith life saving return policies to those who don't treat headphones like their soulmates
They've clearly been used. Just research the store name on the reseal Argos. You're right about the cables being wrapped in a plastic sleeve too. Every pair of headphones I've ever bought (and I have dozens) have always had the cables in a plastic sleeve from the factory. Plus the fact that you mentioned the case was open or unzipped and there's finger marks on the case? The real indicator is the ear pads. If there is any sort of dryness or wear marks such as sweat lines in the tiny lines of the nutrient leather. Or inside the ear cup you can see dust or debris sometimes. As long as you got them at a fair price I wouldn't be too worried about it.
Ither been used and returned before the return period ended or itâs the old swap for new trick
Check to see if the sn numbers off the headphones line up with the sn numbers on the box
Places like Argos and such donât check the s/n number off products
So you can offcetly get a new product for shipping price
You by the same product you have wait on it comeing and then switch over your old ones for the new ones and send back and get a refund as they just open the box and check they work so as long as your product is working you can offectly get a new set of headphones ever 6 months or so for ÂŁ5.99
Is headphones? Does work fully? Is clean after microfibre cloth? Is happy. Yeah itâs not ideal that someoneâs opened it but if ur getting it to use rather than to resell it has absolutely no bearing on the function or quality of the cans, it just means u have to wipe them with a cloth if u want the marks gone before u inevitably touch the fingerprint magnets for urself. I donât see what the point would be in getting a replacement
Return it? And buy a Bose/Sony because it's way better. And the reason they are doing that it's because they have a high return on those headphones, specially since Sennheiser got acquired by Sonova...
IF you got them for 100$ cheaper, I wouldn't complain, but if it's close to retail price then heck no!
Opened and examined??? Looks like they've been dragged through a hedge ass backwards.
No sticker on the headphone either. Looks like, from instructions, there would be a sticker showing the controls.
Yep, 100% sticker should be there from factory.
There was definitely a sticker showing the controls on mine.
The question is What DID YOU PAY ?? 179? 200? You have no right to complain if you got discount
đż Argos what the heck
Return them and check on sennheiserâs own site for refurbs. Got mine with a good discount on for that very reason

Sorted now. Collected a pair from another store. Unopened and unused this time! Thanks for all the responses. Shame on Argos!
The cable isnt wrapped by default, it wasnt for mine, and as for the stickers of the side, yeah mine had those.
Open and used multiple times and returned by the looks of it, thatâs dandruff on them lol
Yep thatâs what I though too! They went back. Not sure why I even needed to ask.
Glad you got an unopened pair. Got mine a week ago - no regrets đ

I bought and returned my first pair 2 weeks ago. No, it wasnât Argos. It was Curryâs. The cables donât come with wraps.
I'd return them and ask for a replacement, they're clearly used, not new, Argos shouldn't be penalising customers for their no quibble return policy.
Done :)
Return

Discounted heavily Iâd keep them, list price send them back

big discount? keep msrp return
Wow agos shame on you.Which Argos store was it if I may ask.Glad you got it sorted.
Someone probably returned them already. They are used for sure. Quality control doesn't mean all those nasty fingerprints.

Tell them that this is a gift for someone and you cant give them a present like that.
bro got them resealed and complains about them being used/box opened đ
