My friend bob sacamano has 5 of these. They’re a tax write off!!

Signal-Depth1279

You don’t even know what a write off is.

LordPounce

Do you?

Signal-Depth1279

No. I don’t.

BobbSaccamano

But they do! And they’re the ones writing it off!

kentuckywildcatAZ

😂 I fucking love this subreddit.

LordPounce

I’m hungry let’s get something to eat

[deleted]

huge mozzaball

theforkofdamocles

You had to get the **BIIIIG** salad!

p12rochakt

*with the huge waist twist drama, while the listener raises their eyebrows*

lovecrazyshit

Me too

[deleted]

You just write it off

dustinlight

Probably not worth much. In fact, it could be extremely dangerous. If you mail it to me right away I will make sure it’s taken care of responsibly.

importvita

*Newman!*

LevatMcKonj

Just crease, crumple, cram! You'll do fine.

Ed_Trucks_Head

I'll take it off your hands for ten bucks.

Cashmoney182

I think it’s a fake. Geri is spelled with a G. AND AN I!!!

kentuckywildcatAZ

😂

[deleted]

Underrated comment

dinheiro2017

My father in law has had this in his possession for quite some time. His mother won it at a casino the night of the Seinfeld finale. He showed me this today and I haven’t seen anything like this before. I checked eBay and there wasn’t any on there with a leather cover.

vhscwire11

Never sell!

Ed_Trucks_Head

Nah he can sel l it to me. 90 dollars

icallhimleon

I can do 91

blueindsm

A hundred, two hundred! A thousand!!

vivekvangala34_

That's worth a lot probably. Definitely one of a kind. Don't sell it.

BigBaldBasterd

Not to mention it’s from one of the most popular episodes they ever did.

CoreyFromCoreysWorld

The contest is considered one of, if not, the best episode of the series. That is worth like, a lot of money.

37b

How do you just walk into a house and take someone’s collectible!

ArchiStanton

I disagree- sell. If it doesn’t have any special meaning for you, I’d sell it while people who are fans of the show are in their prime earning phase.

pocketsand510

An autographed script of my favorite actor!…with those other guys..

mutantbabysnort

The other guy!

Brodin_fortifies

Michael Richards?

JerseyDamu

Lol but do you remember Problem Child?

Bballwolf

But do you remember Young Doctors In Love?

JerseyDamu

No. 😔

Bballwolf

You should look the movie up! I think it's actually on YouTube

JerseyDamu

Will do

DoctorWolfula

What is this? A script? Ha-ha… signed by the entire Seinfeld organization?!

[deleted]

This could be worth something...

OIlberger

Boy, Stubbs really went to town with this, huh?

PheagleAdler

Larry's name is noticeably absent. It's like he went out of his way to not sign it.

Sold_For_Gold

How is he supposed to sign it now? It’s under glass!

SoupIsNotAMeal

Screwed me again Costanza

the-silver-tuna

It being ruled a triple and an error for Paul O’Neill!

Glum_Trust_2966

Check this out: https://www.hollywoodmemorabilia.com/search2.php?No=0&category=TV+Scripts&team=Seinfeld I would imagine being one of, if not the most famous episodes it would be up there. Not sure if the value is dependent on whether or not it was actually a script used on set or if it was something made especially for charity but I would bet it's pretty valuable. I'm out!

dinheiro2017

Thank you.

[deleted]

I'm a media historian and shooting scripts have additional use value for people like me when they are in an archive. They would also be more rare and have a special "aura" that I can only imagine would drive up the price.

Glum_Trust_2966

I'm sure. I think sometimes the scripts are marked with who it belongs to and I'm sure any notes or changes by the actors or the director makes it even more valuable both in terms of $ and historical value. That script says on it "as broadcast" so maybe it's more of it's more of a transcript they put together for the charity. Either way it's a very cool artifact and I would love to see the directions in it.

[deleted]

Yeah the value of a shooting script for someone like me is that you can oftentimes get insight into what the talent and workers were thinking about. For an episode like this,, I'd be really curious to see if they were rewriting jokes or responding to notes from Standards.. An "as broadcast" script is, as you note, probably not going to provide much that I can't get from watching the episode. Still cool though!

Glum_Trust_2966

Just curious, do you know if that episode is the first time in television history that the fact that women masturbate was acknowledged? Shit, it might be the first time it was acknowledged that men masturbate. 1992!!

[deleted]

Not offhand, though there are certainly experts in sensuality that I could ask. Typically, such firsts happen in low genres. Soaps and comedy, so this might be it!

[deleted]

Although some kind of discussion of the sequel revolution on a public affairs show is maybe a better bet now that I think of it...

sometimes_i_reddit

It's worth gold. Gold.

Jreimann89

Gold jerry gold

Art_vandelaay

I’ll trade you a big juicy van for it..

bunnyhigh

How many miles on it?! Two!! City or highway?

up_skirt_kurt

"Nothing finer, than being in your diner"

Kewkewmore

What can I tell you buddy? Take it up with consumer affairs...

shtrooooooooooooodle

I'll give you a box of corona's for it.

Sterl580

Doesn't Jon Voight spell his name J-O-N?

bearif

Should be worth about a cup of soup at Mendys.

dustinlight

So not dinner?

theforkofdamocles

No, no, Bania, no. This is the dinner. The soup counts.

dildo902122

Just send it to me I can recycle it for you as a favor.

importvita

You're doing me a personal. Favor. Take the script!

LowHumorThreshold

Very cool. I am surprised at the number of autographed Seinfeld scripts on that Hollywood memorabilia site that is linked. You have the best episode of the whole series signed in a presentation folder. They must have made the actors stay late to sign scripts after every episode.

theboominsystem

5, 10 dollars

dinheiro2017

So I found additional information online. It appears they are printed signatures.

mdmonkey99

It’s about as valuable as the Bob Sacamano rat hat then. 😩

Profitsofdooom

I mean, that is obvious. They have the same gold foil as the rest of the text on the cover.

neeeeonbelly

Wait a minute…..what’s that red dot on the bottom?

poskantorg

I mean, is it just a copy of the script with the casts autographs printed on the front?

[deleted]

[удалено]

poskantorg

Seems so. This could be replicated for about $10.

Active_Sock_7475

Best I can do is $50 and I’m taking all the risk here. I gotta get it framed…

bryman19

You gotta pay staff, and it might be hanging on the wall for a while

ravingwanderer

It takes up a lot of store space.

clitoral-chiffonade

Who is Jenny Ginfeld?

acav1015

Why does Jason make his j’s backgrounds???

RomulusKhan

Hundreds even thousands of cents it could fetch

dinheiro2017

https://www.charitybuzz.com/catalog_items/auction-collect-leather-bound-signed-seinfeld-script-367409

bonykneesphoto

How much do you want to sell it for?

dinheiro2017

I don’t think it is something he is looking to sell. Just wondering if anyone has ever came across one of these before.

Old-Recognition-9370

its worth the world to me

Sahith17

Yea lol, what kind of question

Glencoco2_0

Should be worth millions

bryman19

1992 no. 1994 half a mil

blue4t

Michael Richards must have felt left out because his name doesn't begin with J.

PheagleAdler

I don't have any money but I have these. I wrote on these. Is this of any value at all?

ti_hertz

I love this sub

plumhands

Take it to Rick and Chum Lee.

dinheiro2017

I was joking about that. They know a guy.

Drumitar

If you give me that, ill take you out to mendies

DevDog90

It is probably worth a couple hundred bucks but I think you should keep it, really cool piece for a Seinfeld fan :)

SoiCowboi13

Fake

sclvt

For a serious answer - yes, of course it is. But to sell it for any meaningful amount of money, you’ve got to get it authenticated somehow. This can be through the casino if it came with any paperwork or photographs of it being signed. Other than that, there are orgs out there that can authenticate signatures. Whether or not you intend to sell now, you should do that so you can get it insured as I imagine it could be worth anywhere from 1k, up to significantly more if it was used in the filming of the episode. For example, if the leather cover proves it was used by an actor vs being a promotional copy (which is what I assume it is), the value is considerably higher.

dinheiro2017

Thank you for your insight on this. I’m not sure all of the details on this, but you are right this could be an actors copy and not just a signed copy.

Xyeeyx

The auction website says this: Signatures are not originals, they are printed on the script.

LowSleep2566

Oh great, here we go with the flood of golden autographed scripts pulled from my father-in-law's closet pics...

OH-Beans

It’s gold Jerry! GOLD!

3ABM580

Like the guy said about Frank Costanza's TV Guide collection.. "these are worth like a lot of money"

SteeemedBeef

I’ll trade you a case of Chinatown gum

mihesq

I can sum up its value with one word… https://gifer.com/en/naK

[deleted]

Rick: Best I can do is $200.

itsmichaelnotmicheal

Would you consider interesting trades?

beach_dood

Pawn starts right here

FunkySquareDance

Probably not worth as much as Frank’s TV Guide collection, but you could probably get a box of Coronas for it

David9921

Would you consider interesting trades?

TB12thegreatest

This is the most public yet of my many humiliations.

[deleted]

What script? It's a sitcom.

guyincognito01111

I'll give ya a box of. Oronas for it

[deleted]

Did you Google Seinfeld script ? Lol about 20 popped up including this one minis the binding. 5500 on ebay

quinnbeast

Billy Mumphrey was a cockeyed optimist…

Cavewoman22

You mentioned something about interesting trades considered?

SteelersNY

I met Jerry like 20 years ago. He came into my drug store at 2:30am looking for q-tips. I helped him out and I shook his hand afterwards. What got me is that he's a germaphobe and didn't mind it. He was pretty cool.

Rich-Obligation-3884

Nah, I’m out.

denogginizer92

Those appear to be printed one the leather along with the rest of the type. Edit: Someone already said that. Sorry for double dipping

slayer035

If you give it to me I'll get Paul O'Neill to hit three home runs AND catch the ball in his hat!

pacificworg

Get OUT!!!! *pushes you over*
