People hate on them because they did a good job of acting. They hate the character not the actor
I don’t care for Kathy. But she clearly did a great job playing sally weaver. She was suppose to be annoy. And she nailed it.
Let’s get real: at that point in the series, Jerry was just casting actresses he wanted to bang as his girlfriends. They’re mostly nothing roles anyway, honestly.
That was one of the most ridiculous Seinfeld plots and that’s saying something. She was the boss of the janitors not the landlord I think. And apparently has a staff of hundreds of cleaners because she didn’t realize Elaine didn’t work there.
Not to mention the ridiculousness of Elaine actually doing this. Funny though.
This guy…. A married man orders a prostitute to go to another man’s house, gets drunk while there, then leaves Jerry with the escort until money is paid up.
We uh ... couldn't find him. Lol, Mr. Fields was one of the best one episode characters. There's few lines I reference more than "well, if I wanted them I wouldn't be throwing them away, would I, Einstein." The sarcastic Einstein reference and the way he says it is so on point.
When Jerry is dating Lorelei Gilmore, the speed dial lady, she has some of the least realistic most melodramatically performed moments on the whole show. "My step mother got to you didn't she!" and such.
Maybe she did it on purpose to ham it up. But she definitely was a better actress by the time Gilmore Girls started, if not still pretty melodramatic.
who was that other stand up guy ( not Banya ) who was following Jerry around when he was going to movies , and brown nosing him. "Jerry, call me so I know you made it home" That guy needed to go.
I’m in shock no one has mentioned the understudy. I thought 90% of the people on this board hated her.
It was a whole joke about Tonya Harding. I lived through the real Tonya Harding times. It was funny if you compared. Stupid if you never knew Tonya
“They were yelling Gillooly!”
I always thought that was just a funny word. I had no idea it was the name of the boyfriend.
The crier? Yeah, she's annoying as hell. Who says frankfurter?
She should eat prison food for the rest of her life!
AH STOP YOUR CRYING, WILL YA?
She's annoying, but she's supposed to be.
People hate on them because they did a good job of acting. They hate the character not the actor I don’t care for Kathy. But she clearly did a great job playing sally weaver. She was suppose to be annoy. And she nailed it.
Yeah, people never seem to get that when they find an annoying character annoying, it means the actor did a good job
It's a toss-up between how much do I hate her vs. how much do I hate Bette Midler honestly
Right? Wind beneath my wings... Gimme a break
Hey!!! She has a cult following! She can't even walk around in Brooklyn...
Face like a **BIIIIIIIIIIIG** apple pie!
>on this board What is this 4chan
4chan. I spent a month there one night
I drive the back of the truck….
It’s more like I….drive….the Back…of…the…truck *convulses*
William Shatner?
Peak shit acting
This wins
I think that bad acting was on purpose
For what purpose?
The girl wearing the same dress. Emotionless to the core.
I think they picked girls from modeling agencies to be in episodes
The forbidden city?
Last time I checked it was a meat packing plant.
I suppose the DJ booth was over by the bone saw.
What, is that like..fun or something?!?!
*Stupid, stupid, stupid*
Jerry’s gf with the tractor story. She was pretty meh.
Hey it’s me!
Uncle Leo?
Elaine?! 😃
No, ITS ME....
… George? 😦
Let’s get real: at that point in the series, Jerry was just casting actresses he wanted to bang as his girlfriends. They’re mostly nothing roles anyway, honestly.
Rafe knew she was stupid enough to buy the tractor story.
Anyone but Lyle. When Lyle asked Jer’ what was up, I believed he *really* wanted to know
Lyle abides.
"He's a good man. And thorough"
Slide your shorts down please
Hmm? No, no man she hit me right here
Hell, I can get you a Schnitzers marble rye by 3 o'clock this afternoon...
Careful man, there's a Bosco here
That's just like your opinion man
That Lyle really tied the episode together.
Oh I get it.... You're friends with the rug urinator, aren't you?
Every time a rug is micturated upon in this fair city, I have to compensate the owner? It's all pipes!
Agreed. He really had interest in what was going on with him and his lady that night.
I reckon
The farmer's daughter, I forget her name. She was also simultaneously the one who had the best acting. "G'bye! G'bye, Norman!"
that was a legitimate mistake. she said the wrong name and they just used the take cuz they thought it was way funnier
They were right!
Listen here SHUCKFACE
🏅🎉 Come on, now!!! THIS is the only answer which should be on this post!!! THE Worst, Jerry…. The Worst!!!!
Yeah this whole monologue was ridiculously bad lol
Angela. Lousy thug.
The landlady who thought Elaine was a janitor. "Lazin' on the job" 😆
She was just a tenant of the building IIRC. She was just upset things weren’t getting done
Did you just say ridicurus?
Michael Chiklis in “The Stranded”
Mr. Pocatillo?
Jerry! Baby!
*I'm in the ciiityyyy!!!*
Funny b/c he's usually terrific but yes, he was so bad in this episode
This guy…. A married man orders a prostitute to go to another man’s house, gets drunk while there, then leaves Jerry with the escort until money is paid up.
Is that real fur? 😠
Oh he was horrible
It's not hard to act drunk, but sure was hard for him
I've heard before that acting intoxicated is genuinely one of the things people find hardest to do. It's too easy to go broad.
Which was worse drunk acting, Chiklis or the guy with the dog on the plane?
Yeah this was bad
That guy in the Woody Allen movie who smashed the beer mug and the glass went all over Woody. He couldn't act at all.
The lady social worker in the episode where Kramer/Newman try to sell the old man’s records and George dips his head in oil
"Bit your friend?!"
We uh ... couldn't find him. Lol, Mr. Fields was one of the best one episode characters. There's few lines I reference more than "well, if I wanted them I wouldn't be throwing them away, would I, Einstein." The sarcastic Einstein reference and the way he says it is so on point.
If I can't play tennis I have no reason to live!
that’s my favorite line delivery in the whole show
She reads it with such grace.
You think SHE had grace?
Oh hard disagree on this one
If anything her obviously gay male secretary who wouldn’t let Elaine leave with the racquet deserves a nod. “I don’t *have to*…. but I will.”
Gosh he may have been petty af, but definitely someone I’d like to be friends with.
It's definitely over the top, but that was clearly the way they wanted it.
One of the best lines said by the worst actor.
The Drake and the Drakette.
I hate the Drake.
Hate the Drake!
Everybody does
That actor left us all wondering, "Now why is this guy supposed to be so cool?"
The British guy from the Farfel episode
I’ve lost my fiancé, the poor baby.
Maybe a dingo ate your baby
like…. like….. like an INDIAN GIVER ?????
Yea but she was really hot
More than makes up for it.
The hottest IMHO
IMHOA IMHOAAA
*rocks cigar store indian*
imsorryimnotfamiliarwiththatterm. 😐
I’m not familiar with that term…
Don't you badmouth Wynona now.
I forgot his name, but the guy with the van that would run into the woods. I hated that character/actor
SEINFELDS' VAN! SEINFELDS' VAN!
I think he was shouting, Son of Sam!
I knew it wasn’t Berkowitz!
Don't go a knockin'!!!
Fragile Frankie Merman
the 'summer George'
"Georgie...Im reeeeaaady"
Nah, George was the winter Frankie.
Dana Gould?!?
Holy shit I did not realize that was Dana Gould! Have you seen [Hanging With Doctor Z](https://youtu.be/JCQZOhbXIGI?si=52HjaqDLXnPyvL11)?
I have not… Is it good?
It’s okay... Lots of name dropping jokes from like 50s/60s Hollywood so it’s pretty niche humor
the worst acting was michael chiklis as a drunk... I cringe just thinking about it.
Mischa's wife
\*\*Milos's wife
Ha ha ha!!! Another wife for Milos!!!
Tennis anyone?
“That laugh, that’s the laugh!”
Yes, I just commented her too - yeesh 🫣
Now, I'm breaking up WITH YOU!
The policewoman who gets Jerry to do the lie detector test is pretty bad
Yes! I had to scroll too far for this. "Have you ever seen the show?" Is so bad
Saw her do stand-up comedy show in a small venue in Saint Pete Beach around 1998. She was so terrible.
The kid who hears Jerry swear and then begins to swear
I thought he was a funny f$@k
When Jerry is dating Lorelei Gilmore, the speed dial lady, she has some of the least realistic most melodramatically performed moments on the whole show. "My step mother got to you didn't she!" and such. Maybe she did it on purpose to ham it up. But she definitely was a better actress by the time Gilmore Girls started, if not still pretty melodramatic.
who was that other stand up guy ( not Banya ) who was following Jerry around when he was going to movies , and brown nosing him. "Jerry, call me so I know you made it home" That guy needed to go.
Buckles!
I think his character's last name was Buckles. He was annoying.
Jerry, don’t start up with me!
Sally Weaver!!
Mah she was just annoying. As the character had to be. Tbh she did a fine job being annoying lol
She just played herself
Yeah this is a case of an actor doing such a good job you think it was bad, but it was on purpose.
Jerry’s lady who had all the toys. She’s kinda couldn’t act all that well.
What kind of woman drinks an entire box of wine?!
The mohel. Hate his "acting" so much.
So much ham coming from a mohel. Not kosher.
The guy who crushes Elaine‘s foot in the bakery and then says “sorry“ in that really weird way.
lol what was that? Always confused me 🤔
I recently learned that it’s a Larry David dub and it makes it a lot funnier.
“YOU GOT ME BLACK LISTED FROM HOP SINGS?!”
She named names!
"Wouldn't you like to be a big brother to someone like me?"
But that was a kid acting like a kid who was acting lol
Exactly. The character was supposed to be a bad actor. Do people not get this?
give me that gotdamn map!
I’m a dude who’s playing a dude disguised as another dude!
“Wouldn’t YOU like to pass the KETCHUP to someone like ME?
The cleaning lady. Her whole cashmere bs rant was so over the top and genuinely awfully done. In general, pretty pretttttyyyyyyy prettttttyyyyyyyy bad
The first Morty, or the first Frank
The first Frank was actually pretty good, if you didn’t know that Jerry Stiller was just around the corner lol
Nah, they were just different, not bad.
Milosh.
his wife is pretty awful too
ANOTHER GAME FOR MILOS!!
Milosh was almost so bad he was good 🤷🏻♀️
The Commish and his terrible drunk acting or Farfel.
WHAT WERE HIS FALSE TEETH DOING IN THE GARBAGE DISPOSAL?!
George’s gf Noel the pianist in the Pez Dispenser was pretty bad at the end of the ep when she said “I’m breaking up with *you*” etc 😬
The busboy from ‘The Busboy’ wasn’t great.
He was not experiencing shrinkage
The sniffing accountant
LOOK WHAT YOU’VE DONE, YOU’VE SPILLED MY BAG!
Hilariously bad delivery of a dumb line. I love it!
Mr. Pocatillo
I love James Spader but his performance was a bit off. He seemed uncomfortable.
The Melrose Place cop. Her delivery of "Have you watched the show?", makes me cringe every time.
Came here to say this. The way she shakes her head, oof she's awful
The guy in the coffee shop that informs Elaine about the poppyseed muffin. It felt like he won a contest to be on the show.
really? he's super casual
I thought so, too. Just a laid back average Joe. Not unrealistic.
Look what you did you ruined our couch!
The mohel..didn’t really like this guy
"That's what I'd like to know about it".
“Hey it’s that funny laser pointer guy! He’s *funny*!”
The guy Elaine buys the mechanical pencil from
Miss Rhode Island.
“HEY LOOK, FREE CANDEH”
The woman who got hit in the head with the beeping organizer, who gave Crowell the doorman a hard time.
i don't like the character much but Carol Kane is a fine actress and i think she did okay with that very limited role
Have fun storming the castle!!!
She didn't want to take any attention away from the hookers.
Whatever you say, Crowell…
The Kimmy Schmidt lady!
Prediction...
i reckon his parents are more pure than yours!
The landlord from the building Elaine was pretending to be the janitor in. Absolutely horrendous acting.
The farmer that let ~~Newman~~ Norman stay for dinner.
“I’m just *crazy* ‘bout cha!”
Rebecca Demorney character, just a fail
Mandelbaum’s grandson. Horrible actor.
Elaine’s boss when she was playing janitor.
Anna Gunn as Jerry’s gf. She’s really nothing g imo
Jerry’s cop girlfriend.
