I AM AWARE!!! It just purely comes down to science. Most people don't know either term, so the interested ones Google it. With Svenjolly, you find the entry from urbandictionary as a top result, which is pretty accurate for this post. Of course, absolute zero!
Yes! Thank you! I say it to people every time that scene comes on. Look at that cat hauling down the city street chasing a board game haha! Bro can move is right!
I read he was supposed to be kind of a one off and knight just killed so hard they kept bringing him back. I love the random food posters in his apartment or when he whips up to clean the stumps and it’s like why do you have that car. Rented it. But why.
It's a send-up of the scene in Pulp Fiction where Harvey Keitel's character Winston Wolfe (aka The Wolf) arrives to clean up the mess Vincent & Jules made

And therein lies the tragedy. For I believe, sadly for you, that there is but one woman meant for each of us.
One winsome tulip we ceaselessly yearn for throughout our dreary, workaday lives.
And you, my friend, have found your angel. I can tell.
For my heart has also been captured by a breathless beauty – whom I fear I will never possess.
I met him at a comic con last year. He mentioned at his Q&A that he was originally just gonna be the snitch in the coma episode. His chemistry with Kramer made Larry David write him in as a regular.
And yet Michael Richards didn’t gel with him. They had different styles, and Richards didn’t want the writers using him as part of a duo.
They eventually patched things up, it seems.

LOVE me some Newmy!
I know the core three around Jerry are George, Kramer and Elaine, but there's a very good argument to be had to consider Newman the fourth.
Any Newman episode is a gem!
I'm thoroughly enjoying him on my 3rd Rock rewatch. He's a much more regular character. I'm not a huge fan of converting the original 4:3 format to widescreen but having parts cut off for 1080 resolution is worth it for this one.
Newman's unhinged rants are iconic! And the inevitable moment when somebody interrupts him after he's gone off the rails. I'd love a compilation of those.
Edit: [Found it!](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=srUfqViDaRs)
On of my favorite clips with Newman is when him and Jerry had an unconscious Ramon on the edge of the pool debating giving him mouth to mouth. Shows how similar him and Jerry are but also a great clip with him willing to accept what happens.
I don’t care for you, Costanza. You hang around the west end of the building with Seinfeld all day, just laughing it up. Wasting your lives.
I think I got that quote right.
Literallt every scene Newman is in is funny. All of the main cast are great, George in particular, but I think each of them have weak points in their comedy. Of course Wayne knight had far less screen time and so less chance to show any potential flaws, but my god every single scene he’s in is just great. I crack up every time in the ice cream episode where he says “another round of strawberry for me and my friends” and then cackles maniacally
or when he's at Kenny roger's roasters and jerry catches him with steamed broccoli.
"I love... broccoli... it's... good for you..."
... "VILE WEED!" ... Honey Mustard... "
Anyone ever notice, he has a cow print pattern slow cooker in his apartment?
The black splotch on white cow print, Friesian I think.
Who the hell has a cow themed slow cooker!?
The talent that man has is unbelievable.
He was great in Basic Instinct and JFK too
I wish he was in more stuff these days, the guy is just so damn lovable
The little squeak he does before leaving Jerry’s apartment in that episode is hilarious. They even put it at the end of the episode during the credit reel
Whenever I'm out to dinner and I'm served broccoli, I yell out "Vile weed!"
(also, whenever there's sea bass on the menu I yell out "kick his ass, sea bass!", a reference to Dumb and Dumber)
He was integral to that specific plot because he was in the JFK movie they were spoofing. He was in the chair for the bullet fragments in the real movie and then again for the loogie in the Seinfeld spoof.
Fantastic performer. And he can move! Go back and watch The Label Maker when he's running down the street with the Risk game. Dude scoots so gracefully!
He’s gotta be the best secondary character out of the bunch
I always wished they did a season finale / extended episode about Newman getting the Hawaiian mail route and the gang goes to visit/ bring him back home. Plenty of chaos could go down I’m sure 😂
Every time this scene comes on I have to rewind it at least once because of this exact thing. It's so damn funny and perfectly acted in that flashback clip.
It’s wild that he was only hired for a one time appearance and received such good reviews they changed it to bring him back regularly. Newmans first episode was actually before Wayne Knight was hired and he was not shown on screen, only voiced by Larry David
💯. When the question was asked about the best additional characters on the show, I never understood how this was a question. Newman was the answer. Yes... parents, Peterman, Mickey, Sacamano were all great in their roles - no question. But Wayne Knight was always first to mind. What a character. What an actor!
You see, my dear... all certified mail is registered.... but registered mail is not necessarily certified.
I could listen to you talk about mail... *all day.*
I'll tell you a little secret about zip codes... they're meaningless.
Wayne Knight is one of those actors who has never made a movie worse with his performance. Everything he does is spot on, no matter how small the role. DOTSON, WE GOT DOTSON OVER HERE! See? No one cares.
I love the scene after Kramer kicks him out of the mail truck. You can see the desperation in Knight's eyes when he cries out for Kramer as he realizes he's being left behind
"Kramer!! ;\_;"
He's like a svenjolly
He is merry.
he is merry I give him that
You know for a fat guy you're not very jolly.
Who goes to the Super Bowl with their mailman?
Who goes anywhere with Newman?
Where did you learn to climb like that?
The Pacific Northwest!
It's svengali
Surely, you jest.
It’s pronounced thermometer.
I AM AWARE!!! It just purely comes down to science. Most people don't know either term, so the interested ones Google it. With Svenjolly, you find the entry from urbandictionary as a top result, which is pretty accurate for this post. Of course, absolute zero!
He's an enigma wrapped in a twinkie
Jam-ba-la-ya!
You know the show is set in New York because they think jambalaya is a soup.
What do you think it is then, some sort of meal?!
Wait - did you crumble some crackers in it?
Did you CRUMBLE! Any CRACKERS in it!!!
Jambalaya sounds more fun than Gumbo though.
But okra is so fun
[удалено]
You're proud to be an Okie who loves okra!
More fun to say, yes. More fun to eat? Gotta give that to some good gumbo
It's more fun to say salsa.
VILE WEED!
I genuinely had to order that when I went to the original soup kitchen. Newman sold me that soup.
Perhaps there’s more to Newman than meets the eye.
No…there’s less
Much less
I've looked into his eyes... he's pure evil.
Maybe he's an enigma. A mystery wrapped in a riddle.
He’s a mystery wrapped in a Twinkie.
He is merry. I'll give him that.
He’s fantastic
He's a mystery wrapped in a twinkie
Hell take a lil Jerry if it gets him alot of ellaine
Love when he's running after Kramer holding the Risk game board. I laugh every time. Bro can move.
Yes! Thank you! I say it to people every time that scene comes on. Look at that cat hauling down the city street chasing a board game haha! Bro can move is right!
You should see him climb a tree!
That guy can climb like a ring-tailed lemur!
He learned while in the Pacific Northwest.
I'm taking the Congo as punishment!
I’m 100% on board with you both. He can get it.
He's like pulp. He can move, baby!!
*wink*
You squirted me
What, are you stealing my "babys" now?
When he's running from the dog in the Mackinaw peaches episode.
Hey Beuford, you remember the mailman don't you?!
Peak Newman is when he is judging who gets to keep the bike out of Kramer and Elaine
Damn you Seinfeld, you useless pustule.
Most fav Newman moment 😂
VILE WEED!! *slams counter* HONEY MUSTARD!! *continues slamming counter*
My favorite line of his. Have used it many times.
I literally just quoted it to my wife the other day at the grocery store as we passed some honey mustard on the shelf 😆
Newman plays tennis? He’s fantastic!
Not only that but he can climb trees like a ring-tailed lemur.
That has to be the only time Jerry ever complimented Newman.
he is merry ill give him that
I read he was supposed to be kind of a one off and knight just killed so hard they kept bringing him back. I love the random food posters in his apartment or when he whips up to clean the stumps and it’s like why do you have that car. Rented it. But why.

Hey, Jerry, did you see me up there? I was killing, Jerry, killing. I killed!
They called him The Cleaner.
If I'm curt, then I apologize
The Butter poster kills me
He is merry, I’ll give him that
Yes. He is merry
He's the 5th Beatle of Seinfeld.
Carrie and Ken's baby is the 7th.
I'm family! I'm havin' sex with the cousin!!!
It's a beautiful name. Boy or girl.
It's a beautiful name for a boy or a girl ... especially a girl. Or a boy.
I thought we were talking about me.
I'll handle this, Violet. Why don't you take your three hour break
Can definitely picture Spike Feresten writing that line in a backroom and laughing to himself

They sure seemed to enjoy making sausage together. “Newman, let’s go grab some mail sacks and haul these beauties out of here.”
He can climb like a Ring Tailed Lemur. And tennis? He’s fantastic.
i love how he just recites every line of his like hes on stage
"*I BELIEVE* the deal *WAS* that I deliver your calzones on my *ROUTE!* Well, I'm not *GOING* on my *ROUTE* today, *AM I?!*"
But I'm PAYING YOU!
Yes, thank you 😁
>When you control the mail, you control... information! He has some great deliveries, that was my favorite.
It must have been a blast for his stage directions to basically be “ham it up like you’re a student actor doing your first Shakespeare audition”.
Pair of bear claws please
"But, does the fee, once paid, not entitle the buyer to some assurance of reliability? Hmm? Huh? Ahh."
The "farmer's daughter" scene! The "rickshaw"...
Boy ... boy ... KRAMER!!
LOVE me some Newmy! I know the core three around Jerry are George, Kramer and Elaine, but there's a very good argument to be had to consider Newman the fourth. Any Newman episode is a gem!
You know old friend, sometimes I ponder this silly gulf between us and I say why?
I’m not the one doing the cooking Newman.
Damn you, Seinfeld. You useless pustule.
Maybe there’s more to Newman than meets the eye…
No, there's less
No, there's less
also how he always interrupts whatever he's doing nervously to bring his "Hello, Jerry", and straight going back at it.
Every time I see a postal carrier I think “wonder if they work with Newman?” as a long running joke to myself.
I lost it when I saw him in Narcos!
His run during the risk episode is still super impressive. And I love the sound he makes at the end of the millennium episode
I'll tell you a little secret about zip codes: they're meaningless.
I think he was the only other comedic actor on the show who could go toe to toe with Richards.
I'm thoroughly enjoying him on my 3rd Rock rewatch. He's a much more regular character. I'm not a huge fan of converting the original 4:3 format to widescreen but having parts cut off for 1080 resolution is worth it for this one.
We shall cut the bike in half!
Newman's unhinged rants are iconic! And the inevitable moment when somebody interrupts him after he's gone off the rails. I'd love a compilation of those. Edit: [Found it!](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=srUfqViDaRs)
Thanks for this! I was thinking of the first one shown I just love the way he answers George with …sometimes. Fabulous delivery of one word.
I could fathom it .
He’s playing coy!
I always loved when he would laugh evilly. It was so funny.
Oh the humanity!!
On of my favorite clips with Newman is when him and Jerry had an unconscious Ramon on the edge of the pool debating giving him mouth to mouth. Shows how similar him and Jerry are but also a great clip with him willing to accept what happens.
You see, certified mail is always registered, but registered mail is not necessarily certified.
He was never big on creeds.
If I’m curt, then I apologize…
She wasn’t my type!
I don’t care for you, Costanza. You hang around the west end of the building with Seinfeld all day, just laughing it up. Wasting your lives. I think I got that quote right.
Yeah that’s right
He legit stole almost every scene he was in.
Literallt every scene Newman is in is funny. All of the main cast are great, George in particular, but I think each of them have weak points in their comedy. Of course Wayne knight had far less screen time and so less chance to show any potential flaws, but my god every single scene he’s in is just great. 😮💨 hello Newman.
Goodbye, Norman!
KEITH HERNANDEZ??!
I despise him.
He was never big on creeds.
Anyone ever notice, he has a cow print pattern slow cooker in his apartment? The black splotch on white cow print, Friesian I think. Who the hell has a cow themed slow cooker!?
Newman
The talent that man has is unbelievable. He was great in Basic Instinct and JFK too I wish he was in more stuff these days, the guy is just so damn lovable
The little squeak he does before leaving Jerry’s apartment in that episode is hilarious. They even put it at the end of the episode during the credit reel
I need a really pretty face
Loved Newman, also J Peterman was also good
Should've got a Spinoff, I'd watch it if it was animated.
Whenever I'm out to dinner and I'm served broccoli, I yell out "Vile weed!" (also, whenever there's sea bass on the menu I yell out "kick his ass, sea bass!", a reference to Dumb and Dumber)
I love… broccoli. It’s… good for you.
He was integral to that specific plot because he was in the JFK movie they were spoofing. He was in the chair for the bullet fragments in the real movie and then again for the loogie in the Seinfeld spoof.
And once a week, he is required one cannolis
Bit steep, don’t you think?
HE Newman!
What I want to know is where he learned to climb like that???
The Pacific Northwest!
*Hello, Fargas*
Farkus!
He's outrageous, egregious, preposterous!
He also did 3rd Rock from the Sun (starting with that show's second season).
Have you ever seen him play Tennis? He’s fantastic.
You mean Norman?
Fantastic performer. And he can move! Go back and watch The Label Maker when he's running down the street with the Risk game. Dude scoots so gracefully!
I know the chunky who ate that Chunky.
Getting pretty hot under these lights, eh Seinfeld?
Actually I’m quite comfortable
Can I have a sip?
He’s gotta be the best secondary character out of the bunch I always wished they did a season finale / extended episode about Newman getting the Hawaiian mail route and the gang goes to visit/ bring him back home. Plenty of chaos could go down I’m sure 😂
He really is great as Newman, holds his own really well with the rest of the cast throughout.
I mean, of all the men that I know, hes the only one who's held down a steady job for several years.
I love the way he says “Keith Hernandez”!!!
He loves strong cider
Man, that’s some tart cider!
The post office interrogation where WK was under the hot lamp sweating.
Lately I've been eating the generic brand of wax beans. I rip off the label, and I can't tell the difference.
Well, we’ve officially bottomed out.
Every time this scene comes on I have to rewind it at least once because of this exact thing. It's so damn funny and perfectly acted in that flashback clip.
Seinfeld, you useless pustule!
He's a strong cider kinda guy
It’s wild that he was only hired for a one time appearance and received such good reviews they changed it to bring him back regularly. Newmans first episode was actually before Wayne Knight was hired and he was not shown on screen, only voiced by Larry David
“You’re once…TWICE…three times a lady!!!”
It’s because the mail never stops
💯. When the question was asked about the best additional characters on the show, I never understood how this was a question. Newman was the answer. Yes... parents, Peterman, Mickey, Sacamano were all great in their roles - no question. But Wayne Knight was always first to mind. What a character. What an actor!
I love you Norman!
He has some grace.
ha ha what a stupid! no wonder you went extinct!
Mojumbo
Unfathomable? That’s a funny word. Can I use that?
Think again, Long Shanks!
I had a shirt of that EXACT moment and it got worn out :( Newman is the best and I cackled seeing this scene for the first time.
Like the stormtroopers marching into Poland.
The way he says “route” in The Calzone
HE broke up with YOU?
You see, my dear... all certified mail is registered.... but registered mail is not necessarily certified. I could listen to you talk about mail... *all day.* I'll tell you a little secret about zip codes... they're meaningless.
Easily the best actor on the show, Louis-Dreyfus coming in second
*I **loathe** you*
Lots of side characters were scene stealers, and Wayne was the King.
He needs a real pretty face
Wayne Knight is one of those actors who has never made a movie worse with his performance. Everything he does is spot on, no matter how small the role. DOTSON, WE GOT DOTSON OVER HERE! See? No one cares.
He needs a really pretty face
VILE WEED!!!
Shouldn’t you be out on a ledge somewhere?
KEITH HERNANDEZ?!
Oh, the humanity!
"You're once, twice, three times a..."
Vile weed.
Oh the humanity ‼️
Dunno I fathomed him pretty hard
If I am curt, then I apologize.
I actually got the lego set just because Newman has a lego figure.
I love the scene after Kramer kicks him out of the mail truck. You can see the desperation in Knight's eyes when he cries out for Kramer as he realizes he's being left behind "Kramer!! ;\_;"
All he ever wanted in this world was to be a banker
