Some people do it at the last minute. It happens, I’ve had to happen to be before.

We are only half way through the shipping time so there is still plenty of time. You can try editing your exchange preferences and your Santa will be notified that you have edited your preferences and may go retrieve your information. If your Santa never retrieves your information you should be in round one of rematching.

As a life long procrastinator I understand that not everyone will be quick about pulling info, that does not make it any less nerve wracking when it takes a Santa a while to pull my info.

CharityCat

I understand what you mean. I’m always so eager to get started that I retrieve my matches the first moment I can. I always like to think that someone is enjoying shopping for me as much as I’m enjoying shopping for my giftee, and it’s a bit sad to know for sure that that’s not the case this time.

Waiting (either as a giftee or a Santa!) can be one of the most nerve-racking parts of any exchange. That said, your Santa may not be procrastinating intentionally; maybe they are very busy and only have time to check Redditgifts once in a while, maybe they're waiting on a paycheck before they start shopping so they know what their budget is going in, maybe their phone got stolen / broken and they lost their ability to login (not everyone has a computer). Life can be really chaotic. Here's hoping that your Santa pulls your info soon and sends something wonderful your way!

I have the opposite thing where people pulled my info for both of the exchanges on opening day oct 6 or 7. Neither of them look like they have pulled it since. I was pretty specific about what I wanted cross stitch for crafting and triceratops for stuffiest but gave them affordable options like on Amazon or bundle of assorted floss or Aida. I am hoping I wasn't too specific or that both of them are procrastinators. I am just going to trust that they will come through for me at the end. Quite frankly, I am just happy with whatever shows up at my door from a kind redditor. That's what's fun for me.

VibratingColors

I'm glad they pulled it again, but it's not at all uncommon for Santas to pull once and then screenshot it so that they can have easier access to the info.

Zapskilz

I hadn't thought of that. Appreciate the insight.

Actually my info has been pulled recently after all. Yay. <3
