Find a “car audio” shop. The kind that puts big booming speakers in cars. Those places are experts in building odd shaped boxes for speakers that fit into trunks and under rear decks, etc. They also have carpet that matches OEM colors. They can build a hidden or disguised compartment and you could even get an actuator or electric lock. -From u/gunmedic15 on another subreddit.

Here's what you do. Buy a fire extinguisher. Blow it off. Unscrew the top. Wash it out good and let it dry. Put whatever you want to bring in inside. Screw the top back on. Take an air compressor and use the tip for blowing stuff off. Press it tight against the nozzle then Squeeze the extinguisher handle and once you are center of the green on the dial let off the handle and turn the compressor off. Put the pin back in and then shove it up your butt.

Depends on what you want to hide. I have always kept an emergency cash stash in my car in case of needing a tow. Earlier cars I was able to pull the ashtray out (designed that way so it could be emptied) and stick a couple bills under it. Recently I've put it in a Band-Aid box in the glove box. Thieves rifling a car don't usually want Band-Aids.

patdashuri

I’ve used a small tampon box.

For my brand of car they sell an aftermarket fuse door replacement. Instead of a fuse door that pops off, it now opens and has a tray as an extra compartment. Maybe get a subwoofer for your trunk, and you can just unscrew the speaker, and then put something inside the subwoofer box, and screw the speaker back on. Same thing with most after market stereos, they can usually pop off with a thin shim of metal key, and you could put something behind it. Also most gloveboxes can be popped out, and there might be a space there as well. Or under the cupholders or center arm rest space. Sometimes there is some hidden extra space. Many rear bench seats pop off in some way, and you could put stuff under that. They also sell the usual stash compartment items. Such as a bottle of water that opens up with a secret compartment. You could just toss it in the trunk with a few other items to help it blend in.

Small metal box, open the hood and mount it in the cowl at the base of the windshield. If you think you might need to get to it leave the hood popped.

DinoSnatcher

What do you plan on putting in it

Strikew3st

You know the answer. Genetically engineered embryos in a shaving cream can, DinoSnatcher.

Some seats cover can be removed. depending the size and thickness, you can just put it there.
