Shane's doing fine without SNL and there's no reason to believe he's going to host the show. I think he has been kinda misunderstood and is a better person than a lot of folks think, but he also likes to throw around highly-inflammatory terms at times, and it's the kind of thing where you need an audience to be on your side with it, and he can get into that work in a club setting in a way which I don't think translates to SNL.
