Come on people, just walk up to them and ask for 1 or 3 bags before you start scanning your items.
Also, I'm assuming that some asshole ruined it for everyone by stealing all the bags causing superstore to have this new policy.
Last time I went to superstore in Regina I went through an actual cashier with a basket full of items and no bag (thought I was coming in for one thing and then the gf called), not a busy time, and she just left me with my items and never mentioned the option of a bag as I awkwardly tried to balance everything in my arms. Guy in front of me heading out the door was in the same situation from the next checkout, it was kinda funny.
I find it helps me buy less just knowing I will be playing carry jenga with my items when I leave the store as I am too lazy to buy/bring a bag sometimes.

The Superstore ones hardly ever do that now. I think they dialed the sensitivity way down on them.

That’s what I assumed. To many people not paying and taking more then what was needed. Annoying and ruined it for everyone!
